Second time trying Uzbek food but first time here. In a small strip mall, the restaurant with table service was nicely decorated. My friend and I wanted to try a couple dishes so shared the salad with warm eggplant pieces, amazing!! For the main entrees we tried a chicken and beef dish. Loved the fried chicken but the beef was a little tough. Two out of three I'd get again. Service was prompt and friendly staff.

Decided to try a new Uzbek restaurant that opened a few months ago and so glad we stopped in! Decided to get an overall sampler and it was a great deal. It included 2 manti, kefta kabob, grilled chicken and beef shank with French fries, grilled peppers and carrot and cabbage salad. The fruit tea was addicted and for dessert we had a white chocolate coconut cake. If you're in the area it was a great meal for the price.

Caravan is fantastic! The food is incredibly fresh and delicious, with perfectly cooked and seasoned meats. I especially enjoyed the tomato cucumber salad and the lamb soup topped with dough. Although there were two different vinegar options on the table, I found the soup flavorful enough without needing much. Overall, a great dining experience! The water is bottled and was free not entirely sure why when they should have Lake Michigan tap water but whatever totally good meal

Food is always delicious and great prices! The eggplant is crispy on outside and tender on the inside. Service is always pleasant and accomodating. Calm elegant ambiance. So many great options you won't regret trying the food.

Yet another Central Asian restaurant in the Chicagoland area! It's been fun trying them out. So far I've tried Anjir, Chinar, Jannat, and Sorry Mommy. Now we tried Caravan. Caravan is located in a strip mall, to the far left. Parking is decent. When we went inside, we didn't see a worker, so we seated ourselves. It turns out there was only one server taking/delivering orders. Service was friendly enough. There are about eight tables inside, mostly four-seaters but one larger table with eight chairs. The interior is nothing fancy. Anjir and Chinar feel nicer. Caravan didn't feel like the type of place where you could have a cozy conversation. Oddly, the other dozen or so customers were all men; we were the only family with a child. The table settings were decent with proper plates and silverware. We ordered plov, manty, and chuchvara. The plov was a bit dry, but thankfully not as greasy as other places. I suppose this was a healthier plov since it didn't have overly fatty meat. The manty was on par with other places, although I feel Anjir has the best manty so far. The chuchvara was somewhat disappointing because the soup broth was nearly flavorless (compared to Jannat); however, the dumplings inside were excellent. Overall, not a bad option, but not my favorite from the five Uzbek restaurants I've tried so far

Awesome food & service. Everything tasted great, & the coffee & apricot juice were refreshing. Will definitely be back.

Food was uniquely good. First time here and I've already recommended to my sister. You have to try the Fruit Tea, most unusual.

Each and every location features plentiful parking, a social media worthy interior, comfortable elegant seating, and quality desserts that consistently delight everyone who has the opportunity to try them. On my visit here, I tried a different set of items from my Schaumburg visit to test the consistency of quality across different flavor profiles and dessert types, and it delivered perfectly. The mango gelato here is incredible -- with probably the strongest mango flavor I've ever had in a gelato. The Lotus was an elevated version of one of my favorite biscuits. The gelato is incredible, creamy and flavorful -- and something I'd happily serve with most any dessert. The waffle was flavorful as usual which paired perfectly with the chocolate mix. I also wanted to try My Passion to get a mix of different fruits -- as I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh the fruit was at the other location. This was equally as great, with fruit presented at the perfect ripeness. Extra kudos to the kiwi which wasn't sour at all, and in fact was one of the first items to be finished completely. The pineapple was also super juicy, sweet, and flavorful. I wish we'd gotten more eclairs, as the filling was super delicious. Maybe the weakest item in this dish was the brownie, which was only good -- while everything else we'd tried was great to amazing. Overall, worth a special trip for any dessert lover. This business consistently delivers top notch dishes at very reasonable prices.

Walking into the Encore Liquid Lounge (which sells a good its a$$ can't cash, but that's another thing), I was hypnotized by these strange blue cupcakes. Anyone who reads my reviews knows I can't resist anything colored blue, purple or red, so I had to know what was up. Imagine my surprise when I discovered by blue hypnosis was due to Hpnotiq cupcakes! You read that correctly: BLUE cupcakes made with and tasted like Hpnotiq. And, yes, you could get a buzz. Well, you know I had to have one. Or, 8. Tracey, the owner, is rightfully proud of her product and after we got to talking how I was going to be her new best friend/stalker, she made sure I left with a small box of the baked goods. Lest you think, however, that I am not klassy and only fall head over heels for blue treats, I'll have you know that I gorged on: cognac, amaretto, apple martini (GREEN with apple bits on the inside!), and strawberry margarita (keep me near the cross; these made me go on a mama-slapping rampage that was only quieted by passing out from the sheer rip-your-clothes-off goodness at eating a strawberry cake, topped with berry/tequila frosting and filled with boozy berries treat). Don't sit in judgement of me: you would have done the same thing.. and I might have been drunk from cupcakes (first time for everything!). The cupcake, creme brulee, and celebration were all delicious, especially the first two. The keto cookie being sugar-free was not super tasty, but it has far less sugar than the regular cookies, so it's a worthy trade-off. All gourmet cookie places are expensive, but these are way better than grocery store cookies. If you've got a craving, this is the place to go.
