Wholey Granoly, guacamole this place is the bomb! Wholey Granoly is a new local restaurant run by the sweetest family. Upon walking in, you are met with stunning decor. It's so refreshing to see something aesthetic for once in the suburbs! The color palette is light and full of greenery and wood accents. The light fixtures are gorgeous and the seating arrangement is wonderful! But what really hit it off for me is obviously the food. Listen, to have aesthetic AND genuinely good food is a rare find. I love the menu! There's a bit of fusion in the menu with recipes that you simply can't find at local restaurants. I've come here a couple times and always order the Coconut Pistachio Latte ($5.75) and the Tres Leches French Toast ($13.75). I'm a huge sucker for pistachio and the coconut milk is a savory and smooth perfect blend in flavors! The Tres Leches French Toast.... Man, I have dreams about it. I always ask for extra sauce because I love to drench the toast in the yummy milky sauce! It's garnished with the classic almonds and fresh fruit. It's by far my favorite dish to order. I've also gone the savory route, ordering the Bayou Skillet ($15.50) and the Brazilian Steak Skillet ($15.50). You can choose to make it a skillet or an omelet. By far I prefer the flavoring of the bayou skillet! That lobster cream sauce is something else! I've also tried the Mushroom Goat Cheese Burger ($14.50) which is also delicious! The goat cheese and the carmelized onion with the garlic aioli is a match made in heaven! My goal is to come in for dinner because the options look just as amazing. On top of all this, they use quality ingredients and there are many vegan and gluten free options. They have a quick service area for drinks and to-go orders. Such a great place to meet with friends. I've spoken with the owner before who has told me that the restaurant is a family owned business and it is so clear that they all put their heart and soul into it! This local business needs all the support and advertisement because it deserves it! The food is wonderful, service is quick and on point, and the aesthetic is a dream. There's really not much you can ask for. Being post-covid, local businesses need our help now more than ever. This restaurant opened last week. It's very clean and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. They really did a beautiful job. The food was good i ordered the southern shrimp and grits. The chorizo Benedict was phenomenal. You could really teast the freshness of the roasted corn and the black beans. I would suggest this breakfast. The waffles were cold when we received it. Waffle tasted great and the sauce on it wasn't overly sweet. The manager came to talk to us to apologize for it. The white chocolate mocha was great. We would definitely come for breakfast again. Been hearing a lot about this place so we thought we would check it out. Ambience: 5 stars The place is bright as soon as we walked in. Decor is very modern and slat walls. Tables layout are very functional. This place used to be Panera's but there is nothing left of Panera's image in this place. Paint are bright and pastel colors. Interiors looks like IKEA furnitures on steroids..lol. Place is not loud therefore you can have a decent conversations. Food: 3 stars We ordered chicken skillet and tres leches french toast. One review we read was they serve big portions but I don't think that is now the case. One person shared french toast having 6 slices but now, I only got 4 slices. Out of curiosity, I asked the waitress about it and was told, they scaled it down and working thr kinks as they go along. Chicken skillet with small bowl plus 2 slices of french toast came out to 18.95. Our overall total was $45 including 20% tip. It is pricey for the amount of food we received. It is good but the portion doesn't fit the price. Might not come back again but to each his own. Service: 2 1/2 stars Service is a little slow. They should give utensils when they sit the customers. Instead, we already got our coffee and no utensils. A little long waiting for our food considering the place is not packed. Maybe, just short of staff? Not sure. I can't drop my fork! My kids and I are in the clean plate club, and that is saying something. This is absolutely my new go to for breakfast! This place is new to the area and it is much needed. It serves both breakfast and lunch. It has gluten free and vegan options. The flavors? Amazing. It tastes elevated. The portions are big. To he coffee is hot, plentiful, and strong. I had a Benny that sat on a bed of kale with avocado, with hashbrowns along with a side of ranch (which in and of itself was delish). My kiddos had what was called birthday pancakes. Location - 10 out of 10. It's right in the Bolingbrook Ikea parking lot. There was plenty of parking right outside the door. Food - 11 out of 10. So many choices and it all sounded delicious with a variety of dietary options. I opted to select what I can't make at home and I was not disappointed. They serve both breakfast and lunch but I only ate breakfast. Ambiance - 10 out of 10. This place has a fresh, new vibe. It's a really nice looking place, that also takes food to the next level. Silverware was wrapped in cloth napkins. I'm obsessed with the tile work and the feature walls. Bathrooms are in the back. There are changing tables available for the littles. They also had plenty of highchairs and cups with lids. The background music made my day. Overall, my server was great. Yesterday while in Bolingbrook I stopped by this spot. It got rave reviews so why not try. It's in a mall setting across from IKEA. A perfect place to be. It looked nice from the exterior. Upon entering u got the option to enter 2 doors after entering the main door for dining or carry out. Once entering a gentleman greeted me + guest. Asked if we wanted a booth which we did. We were the only patrons there. The host explained the menu, took drink orders. Came within 5 minutes and took food order. The decor is bright, vibrant, mellow. While talking to my guest I noticed how chilly it was in there. I went to restroom to wash those hands before eating. I needed to blow my nose since it was chilly in there, hmmm no toilet paper. I had to use a paper towel instead...ouch! Washed hands and the dispenser ran out of towels. I had to do that manual air dry thing. Restroom was decent though the stall could have used some attention. Came back to table and food arrived 2 minutes later. I ordered an egg white omelette w/mushrooms and tomatoes which was good. Walked in to young girl with zero reflection who sat me at a table where the water damaged delaminating floor around it bounced the table and seat to a point of annoyance. Ordered skillet, wheat toast with jelly , skillet was good , received what looked like white toast, received jelly after I was done with skillet and my up and down ride in booth. Asked where to pay I was told I could pay at counter... walked there to witness dirty dishes with food adjacent to POS, and servers working over them, to be told by two other servers they can't help, only my server could help... had to wait for my server to cash me out and questioned if I wanted my change???? Don't ever ask! Fix the moldy delaminating floors, pay more attention to cleanliness, getting orders to customers correctly or least before they are done , and don't ask if I want change from the payment. No lines on Sunday breakfast!! No waiting was an awesome experience. We were worried that the service or food was horrible. We were surprised with how good everything was. I had the chorizo omelet. My wife had the roasted mushroom omelet and the pistachio coconut double expresso. She loved the drink. She thought it was amazing. My omelet was cooked great. It had a nice combination of chorizo, corn and beans without being too hot (I like hit). The sauce on top was ok. The biscuits were light and flaky. I was pleasantly surprised with this place.. my friend and I were looking for a breakfast place in Bolingbrook and this was suggested and one of the neighborhood Facebook groups. It looked somewhat small on the outside but it's actually quite big inside and they divide the space into a pickup area for food on the right and then sitting on the left. They had an ample breakfast menu and wonderful service. I ended up getting an egg/toast/hashbrown plate and my friend got a waffle breakfast with all the fixings on the waffle including peaches. They also have smoothies, coffee, and lots of other items. I had a wonderful time here and I will definitely be back. I suggest you check it out if you're in the area especially if you're looking for a new breakfast place. read more

The ambiance, service, and food here is fantastic! The owners were also our servers and they were so kind and helpful. They answered all my questions and I love that they place a huge emphasis on healthy, fresh, and quality ingredients. I ordered the South of the Border bowl with plant based chorizo and it was delicious. The chorizo was loaded with flavor and so good that I forgot it wasn't meat. All of the ingredients meshed together perfectly and the cilantro vinaigrette was a great balance of tangy and herbaceous. Went back to for breakfast a week later and had the chorizo Benedict. It was soooo good! Probably my new favorite breakfast meal. Hubby had the Brazilian steak skillet and loved it! I struggle to find brunch places where I have options given I cannot eat dairy or eggs. I came across Wholey Granoly and had no issues getting a table on a Saturday morning. The server was very kind and extremely accommodating with my food intolerances. The menu is gigantic, so anyone would have tons of options. I got the pork carnitas skillet with some modifications. It tasted good, but I've had better pork carnitas at most places. My side (for a slight upcharge) was gluten free and vegan pancakes. The fact that they could make it that way for me is amazing and rare. They were fantastic. I would come back for sure, I just wouldn't get the pork carnitas again. I would love to try something else. I do recommend this place as a good brunch spot though! read more

They have excellent healthy options as well as burgers, chicken sandwiches, etc. I had the pineapple sriracha bowl with chicken and cauliflower. Yum! I was pleasantly surprised to find they had mimosas, wine and beer. So I enjoyed a mimosa with my meal and took a coconut pistachio latte to go, which was delicious. I left feeling full but energized, not heavy and sluggish. In a world of big chains and mediocre ingredients this is a great alternative with fresh ingredients. My first time here, and I LOVED IT!!! My wife and I stopped at Wholey Granoly for a late (1:30 PM) lunch and they knocked it out of the park. The breakfast menu had creative twists on omelets, benedicts, skillets, and other classics. The lunch menu had a nice mix of lighter fares as well as burgers and other hot sandwiches. I went for the Bayou omelet, which quite frankly was BLEEPING DELICIOUS. I had a side of fresh fruit, which may have well been just picked. The entire meal was great. My wife opted for the Asian Chicken Salad which she also loved. Our waitress was friendly, helpful and timely. The restaurant itself was clean and attractive. House music was playing soft rock classics at just the right volume. Looks like a great place for adults only as well as families.
