She was very accommodating with scheduling too! After evaluation, she diagnosed my baby girl with lip tie and possibly a tounge tie. She showed me some exercises I can do daily to help with her oral functions and body tension. Shes suggested some dentists that shes seen procedure success in. She advised that its up to me if I want to do the lip tie procedure, and that oral exercises will need to be done after procedure so getting her use to exercises is important. And sometimes the exercises can significantly improve without needing the procedure. Shes also suggested nipple types I can try to help her latch better. Overall, after 3 sessions, baby girl has minimal clicking, better latch and slightly stronger tounge. Im still on the fence with the procedure, i know sooner the better, but if she continues to improve, I may forgo the procedure. Let's hope her 4 month regression does not undo all our hard work. I will revisit Stacy when baby girl starts solids.

Stacy helped us with exercises for my baby's mouth and overall body to help with tummy time! My little one has had an easier time to feed and I can see that the knowledge and education Stacy provided really helped my baby girl grow more strength with her neck. She provides at home or in office appointments and both has worked well so far for my baby. Really love Stacy's flexibility as well and how well she works with my baby!

Linda was able to come out asap and she very much helped me! We realized he did better on a nipple shield and have been using one the last two weeks. He's been getting stronger and able to breast feed no problem. During our first session, she was able to confirm that my insurance would cover a postpartum Doula. So I get 11 sessions through Kaiser, which has been wonderful! So Linda comes to my house once or twice a week to help me in my recovery and breast-feeding journey. It has been really nice to have the support and the help. She's really been great! We will be working on getting him off the nipple sheilds, hopefully in the next few weeks. But having the help at home has really been great as well as the lactation support. I would definitely recommend calling her and seeing if you were insurance will cover visits from her. Thanks Linda for all the help!

Linda recognized that my son had a tongue and lip tie when everyone else told me that he did not have one. We saw a pediatrician that she recommended and had it revised at 5 days old. After his revision I was able to nurse without pain for the first time ever! I needed a lot of support to establish breastfeeding and she went above and beyond to answer all my questions and help me. She is truly a kind and caring person. I can't recommend her enough to anyone that is struggling with nursing or has questions. We love Linda and are forever thankful for her.

That's when I reached out to Linda, and I'm so grateful I did. She took the time to thoroughly assess our baby and quickly identified a lip, tongue, and cheek tie--something we hadn't realized. Linda clearly explained what was going on and guided us through every step, connecting us with a wonderful pediatric dentist for the procedure and an excellent physical therapist for follow-up support. Thanks to Linda's expert advice, encouragement, and reassurance, I was able to continue breastfeeding successfully. I'm proud to say I exclusively breastfed for a full year, and now begins the emotional journey of weaning. I truly could not have done it without her. I will absolutely reach out to her again when the time comes for future children, and I recommend her wholeheartedly to family and friends. She was an essential part of our journey.

As a first time mom I was struggling trying to figure out breastfeeding and starting to panic…read morebecause my pediatrician told me that my baby wasn't gaining weight as expected. She wanted me to formula feed asap because I was having trouble with getting a good latch on one side and unable to get a latch at all on the other. I felt so defeated but I didn't want to give up on breast feeding my baby. At first, I went to another LC. It was such a horrible experience. She basically took one look at my baby, then told me she had a lip tie that needed to get released, and that I needed to see a chiropractor because her neck was tight. There was no hands-on working with me on my latch. She really didn't do anything but tell me to continue to use my nipple shield. I was so discouraged after our meeting. I almost believed that what she said was my only option, but my gut feeling told me that she was wrong and I should find another LC. That's when we reached out to Tami from Loving Touch Lactation. She was so kind and reassuring over the phone, answered all my questions and left me feeling confident in her experience to have her come over. It was honestly the best decision we ever made. Let me tell you, she is a miracle worker!!! From our first visit she did a weighted feed and to my amazement she showed me how to latch on BOTH sides properly - She did address that my baby had a minor lip tie, but it did NOT need to be surgically released. Tami then created a game plan for me to become successful in building my supply/feeding to ensure my baby gained weight. With her guidance, I was able to ditch the nipple shields and successfully breastfeed my baby enough to bring her back up to the 98th percentile. We even had Tami come back when my baby turned 6 months for her baby led weaning session! It makes me so emotional to think about how much she has helped me achieve through my breast feeding journey. I literally could not have done it without her and we are so grateful. BEST DECISION EVER!!!

I found Renea online & met with her a few days later in our home. I knew by the end of our meeting that she was who I wanted beside me as I labored and gave birth. On the day I went into labor we were in constant communication via text. Once active labor began she came over to my home (with all of her essential oils!) and worked through the contractions with me. She was a strong supporter for me during this intense time! She came with us to the hospital and was right by my side as I delivered my son. We hired her again for our second-born son's delivery and she was with me, again, during active labor and at the hospital. We also saw her for a postpartum visit after each delivery. It's been 2 years since we first hired her and we are still friends. I text her randomly with a question and she is quick to reply! I've said this before and i'll say it again--i wouldn't want to birth my babies without Renea by my side!

It has taken me five months to write this review. Every time I tried to put my thoughts together, I…read morebroke down in tears. I hired Celeste to be my midwife after my sister recommended her. At first, she was amazing, and I felt I was in good hands. She seemed knowledgeable and experienced. I noticed a few small things early on. Celeste and her assistant had trouble drawing blood and finding my veins, despite nurses always telling me I had "good veins." This would later create a problem during my labor when neither Celest nor her assistant could put an IV drip in me. She also made comments about me being "shy" and easily "embarrassed," which now seem more like digs than jokes. During a team meeting, she commented that she wished my husband had a brother, which felt inappropriate but I overlooked it because she seemed capable of helping me deliver my first baby at home. The first major red flag was when she recommended a birthing class, led by one of her close friends. Celeste assured me I would gain valuable knowledge from it. My husband and I paid close to $500 for the class. However, when I shared information from the class with Celeste, she dismissed it, saying, "Oh no, that's wrong, don't do that part." This inconsistency made it difficult to apply what I learned. The second red flag was when she recommended I start taking Primrose oil at 34 weeks to soften my cervix. I was hesitant because I didn't understand why I needed it if my cervix would soften naturally. Trusting her, I started taking the oil. I went into labor at 36 weeks and later learned that Primrose oil can induce early labor and cause complications. Coincidentally, Celeste had a trip planned around my estimated due date, which made me question her motives. The final red flag was during my labor. My water broke immediately, and I knew I was on a 24-hour timer to deliver at home. Celeste advised me to rest and labor alone as much as possible before calling her. She mentioned she would be very quiet during the birth, but when she arrived, she seemed like a completely different person. She was cold, detached, and making me feel like an inconvenience. I managed to reach 8 cm dilated on my own and felt powerful until Celeste began making snide comments and facial expressions to her assistant. She said things like "I'm just used to my buttery babies," implying my baby was taking too long. She kept saying I was in my head, which felt like gaslighting. At one point, I was told to push even though I was only 8 cm dilated. My husband and mom witnessed Celeste and her assistant scrolling through Instagram and Facebook, watching funny videos, while I had contractions. When they were present, they gave directions I couldn't follow due to the intensity of my contractions. Celeste showed zero patience or empathy, leaving me feeling unsafe and unsupported. I finally asked my husband to take me to the hospital. I do not recommend Celeste's midwifery services. She needs to address her own issues before attending to such a vulnerable time in a woman's life, where empathy and kindness are desperately needed. I am grateful my baby and I are safe, but nothing can prepare you for being told you risk hemorrhaging and death. Overall, my experience with Celeste's midwifery services was deeply disappointing and distressing. While she initially seemed knowledgeable and capable, her lack of empathy and professionalism during the most critical moments of my labor left me feeling unsafe and unsupported. I urge anyone considering her services to be cautious and prioritize finding a midwife who can offer the compassion and respect every birthing individual deserves. My family and I are grateful to have come through this experience safely, but I cannot overlook the emotional and physical toll it has taken.

Celest is one of those people you come across and it feels like heaven sent down an angel…read more I felt so overwhelmed when my son was born- a million different conflicting opinions in the hospital on just about everything left me feeling really lost and confused. Enter Celest- she's a breath of fresh air and has the most warm and welcoming personality. She guided me through my early days of breastfeeding and made me feel empowered. Because of her friendly guidance I finally had the feeling of "I got this". She was kind enough to do a home visit for me to alleviate some concerns I had around starting to pump/ etc. and yet again she left me feeling totally empowered and prepared. You have to be careful about the amount of people out there calling themselves "lactation consultants" and need to find someone actually qualified like Celest is. She is incredibly knowledgeable and very qualified to help with breastfeeding, issues, all of it! On top of her expertise with breastfeeding she is also just an overall baby expert and she's one of those people you are so grateful to be able to call upon in the early days when everything is new and overwhelming. Would recommend her to anyone with my highest regard!
