I have received bacon/egg/cheese without bacon, etc... luckily I noticed before leaving so they corrected the issue. Today I got a sandwich to eat during work for lunch - the Turkey Delight - and I just opened it to find NO TURKEY.... I am super disappointed, especially when this cost me $8, and Turkey is the main part of the sandwich. I can't even go back because now they are closed for the day. When I first heard word of a new bagel shop opening in my neighborhood I was pretty excited. I think it is a great addition to the area, which needs a few good breakfast options and some coffee variety as well. I'm a bit late to review since I did wait for the initial excitement to settle down a bit before visiting. I have a touch of 'crowd-anxiety' and can become a little overwhelmed in a long line. The shop's early hours are perfect for my schedule and also make it easy to beat the crowds at peak times. Finally the day came when I saw very few cars in front of the shop (this doesn't happen often) and knew it was time to make my move. I was happily surprised with the bagels and think I can actually consider myself a regular at this point. I was pleased with the friendly-factor on my first couple of visits and was even referred to as 'miss' versus the dreaded 'ma'am' I tend to hear lately ...sigh. The joy was short-lived, however, as I was called ma'am on a following visit. Now I find it fluctuates, but sadly sets the tone of my day. Being referred to as ma'am cuts like a knife. I have a few favorite local spots where those titles are not used to greet me, yet I feel very welcomed. It's not necessary. I make sure to slather on the wrinkle cream now before heading in for a bagel. I've only had the plain bagels on every visit thus far, because that's what I like. Wicked does them well and I love the generous amount of cream cheese slathered on. The coffee is one of my favorites in this general area. The menu offers a decent variety of bagel sandwiches which I certainly must try in the near future. The employees have not all won me over yet. There are a few regular and consistent friendly faces, but customer service is still a bit 'hit or miss'. The ordering system doesn't always flow perfectly and I noticed employees becoming a bit flustered at one another a couple of times, especially when the line is longer. There is a very sweet man who assists in the dining area. We had a brief conversation at the cream/sugar station recently. He seems to love his job and I admire his interactions with customers. There is not a lot of seating, but due to the busy factor, I prefer to take my food to go. I really love having Wicked Bagel in the neighborhood. Lose the 'miss/ma'am' nonsense and I will love you even more. read more

This place makes terrific bagels, they really do. But, man, they make it hard to love them and after the most recent price hikes, I need to take some time off from Wicked Bagel. They have always been disorganized - employees who are standing around, not knowing what to do, while others are going at a mile a minute. Expect to wait quite a while for your order here, and to be confused as to why they don't start an order before you pay (leading to long, long, lines). They have an order-ahead system that works well, but often need 15+ minutes for a single bagel sandwich to come out (and then they are rarely actually brought from the back of the kitchen to the front). For me the last straw was the price of a bagel sandwich jumping to over $7 with tax - four years ago it was $5, and last year it was $6. $7 is quite a lot for a takeaway bagel sandwich. read more

Good bagels - made fresh and you can really taste the difference. Their online ordering is a breeze, and you can pick up from a window for maximum safety/social distancing. The employees are really friendly, and they have a wide variety of spreads and sandwich options too. The breakfast sandwiches are okay - nothing out of this world, but definitely satisfies a craving. Coffee is okay - their nitro is good and affordable (no extra charge for milk/almond milk which I like). They have donuts on Fri/Sat/Sun! Came around 9am and they still had every flavor available. Their donuts leave something to be desired, but they're $1.99 each so I didn't feel too bad about getting a few. They aren't like the big fluffy yeasted donuts you'd get at a specialty shop, they were similar to what you'd get at Dunkin' but fresher and with some more interesting flavors. I think the flavors rotate too..... Nice to see how local restaurants have adapted to Covid-19 times, and this shop is doing a great job at keeping their employees and customers safe. Will definitely stop by again to pick up a dozen + spreads (I think they also offer discounts on dozens every last Friday of the month!). read more

We've gone here twice and both were slightly lack luster visits. The first we got a half dozen bagels and cream cheese. I found the bagels to be good but not as dense as a NY style bagel that I was expecting. We were pretty bummed that the day after we got the bagels they got incredibly stale. They were tough to cut and the only way edible were if they were toasted. Even toasted they weren't very good. I've never had this kind of trouble with good bagels elsewhere. We decided to give it a second try today and get sandwiches. I ordered a tuscan and my boyfriend ordered an egg sandwich bagel. When we got home with everything and opened them up we noticed that they mixed up the bagels for the two sandwiches. My boyfriend ended up with my everything bagel (which he hates) and we didn't want to go all the way back to have them correct it so the mix up was a bummer. The sandwiches were good but my boyfriend was definitely soured by the bagel mix up especially after our first experience not being great. The place is okay and I recommend getting and eating bagels day of and it's worth it. read more

The offerings are tasty when done right. However, there seems to be a lack of management, or improper training, or insufficient staffing, and clearly little in the way of quality control. After several previous mishaps, I took a break from ordering here but tried again today. Ordered 3 sandwiches online (2 egg sandwiches, and one garlic bagel toasted with cream cheese). Ordered at 10am; app said it would be ready around 10:15; at 10:16am app said it was ready for pickup; when I went to the window they said it had not been started yet... so what good is the order tracker? Order was ready at 10:22; but when I was handed the bag (and good thing I checked!) one sandwich was missing... seriously folks, if the receipt says 3 items and there are only 2 in the bag, this is a pretty obvious error-- so maybe check before saying it's ready? So waited a few more minutes for them to unwrap the sandwiches to verify which was the missing one, and then prepare it. Finally got the order at 10:28, and took it home.... to discover that two of the orders were wrong. Nice going, Wicked Bagel! And if you ever walk into the store to order you'll see that sometimes you have to clamor to get their attention because the teens working there are more intent on gossiping with each other then doing their jobs. I know it's hard to get proper staff these days, but this is not rocket science and there needs to be managerial oversight. So, sorry, but you're no longer worth my time and $. read more

This place just opened near where I live so I was super excited to try the bagels here. They opened barely a week so everything looks brand new. A gentleman was standing at the front door greeting people and he and the other staff were dressed in Wicked Bagel uniform - very corporate. I was impressed that on an early Sunday morning, this place was already quite busy with folks either walked or drove over to get their morning bagels to go. A young couple with small kids even came in for a sit down meal. The counter service was great. They have a young team here but they seemed to know what they're doing so service was quick. They have a variety of traditional bagels; whole-wheat, everything, cinnamon raisin, poppyseed, marble, rye, French toast, pumpernickel and spinach. They don't have our favourite- Asiago cheese though. I tried the cinnamon raisin and poppyseed bagels and as a non expert in bagels I think they are fine. They are large compared to Finagle bagel and Bruggers and as for flavour and texture, they seemed ok. For now they don't accept Applepay yet but hopefully this will change soon. The great thing about this place however is that they are open everyday! I will surely be back. read more

Soft open this weekend (Oct 29th) - just bagels, spreads, and drinks. Sandwiches next weekend. Clean, open layout with view to bagel machine, par-boil vat, and oven. Nice, friendly, hard working crew. Long lines, but service is quick. We tried salt, egg, French toast, and spinach. All are light, soft & fluffy on inside, thin crisp crust outside, with right amount of chew. Favorite right now is salt, but excited to try sesame and everything flavors. I went to Wicked Bagel on 2/17/2019 around 10:55 am and I can finally see why there are so many complaints about slow and rude service. Granted, they seemed to be a little understaffed for the day and time (only the manager as a cashier and only 3-4 people preparing orders - as compared to the usual 2 cashiers, 4-5 people a preparing orders and the roaming manager) but the lack of care was astonishing. The manager (I assume because he was wearing a button-up shirt which was different than the usually black tee that everyone else was wearing) at the register was so rude and was moving at a glacial pace. Ignoring issues that were popping up like missing items from orders from the lack of communication between the two order prep stations - it's not new but it causes so many issues. Not getting coffees that was ordered and then heavy sighing when reminded of what they customer was waiting for. Ignoring customers that ordered ahead. A mother and daughter right ahead of me came in and ordered a half dozen bagels. He asked what flavors and they started with "garlic" and he just walked away from them and filled the bag with 6 garlic bagels while the woman kept trying to tell him they wanted others. He turned back around and tried to hand them the bag and they said "we actually wanted all different flavors." He literally rolled his eyes, turned around, dumped all the garlic bagels back in the bin, turned back around and said "Okay, what?" I was so surprised. At this point, another employee must have noticed the shock on my face and came to take our orders. We ordered two flavors bagels, toasted, with cream cheese and luckily it came out surprisingly fast. Unfortunately, not toasted. We ate them anyway because what a can they do, waste the bagel? Eh, I'll just eat it. The prep stations were a mess- all kinds of seeds and flavorings all over the board. My husband dislikes most of those flavors and was pretty bummed when his bagel was covered with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, and onion flakes. You could tell the bad attitude from the manager was rubbing off on the employees. Such a shame. read more

This was probably one of the tastiest bagels I've had. That being said, the execution left a bit to be desired. I think this place is still trying to work out the kinks after opening recently. I came on a recent weekday afternoon and ordered the power breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. The staff member making the sandwich didn't know what was supposed to go on it, and had to consult numerous times with the cashier to make sure they had all the ingredients. My husband really wanted to try the lox, but they were out (at 11 am on a Wednesday). I actually wasn't too enthused about my sandwich. The egg white tasted undercooked, and the aoli overpowered the entire sandwich with a lemon taste. However, that being said, it's difficult to find a bagel sandwich at this price point, and the bagel itself was actually delicious. It had a nice crisp on the outside, and was soft and chewy inside. I also had the cold brew, which was nice and strong. The space is nice, clean and modern, although they could arrange their seating area better. I'm looking forward to returning and trying a bagel with cream cheese. read more

The best bagels I have ever had. The BLT on an everything, perfection. Their plain and Veggie cream cheese, delicious. I believe they make their bagels and cream cheeses in house too. I went in and got a bagel, asked for it to be toasted. When I got it, it wasn't warm so I asked if it was toasted. They said it was, but then told me if I wanted it to be more toasted I should have specified darkly toasted. They were kind and redid it for me which I appreciated. I liked the first bagel. But they told me three times, you should have asked for it to be dark toasted. Before I left, I got two more bagels, this time "dark toasted" for my family. I stopped in while on my break from work and got an everything bagel with strawberry cream cheese. The bagel was good...nothing special. The highlight was definitely the cream cheese though. It was amazing! It was the perfect creaminess and had actual strawberries in it, though very subtle and not too chunky at all. The service was lacking a bit. The lady who took my order was very friendly and helpful but the guy making the food and handing it to customers waiting seemed miserable and had an attitude.
