Customized bagel sandwich on quinoa wrap (note, double buffalo chicken)
    Jillian C.

I ordered lunch here via a catering service. Since I didn't step inside, I can't speak to the ambiance of the place. I can speak to the food though. I ordered a customized bagel sandwich and asked for no bagel but a wrap. They only offered a thin quinoa wrap, which broke apart very easily. However, I recognize that this is a bagel place not a standard sandwich place. Thought it was a bit messy to eat, I appreciated that my wrap was packed with ingredients and was delicious!

    Everything bagel

So I do not usually leave reviews, but this genuinely ruined my breakfast for the week. I decided to treat myself and get a half dozen of everything bagels and veggie spread, except I didn't expect that spending $20+ on bagels meant they'd just be randomly thrown into a bag. It's the fact that I have to find a plastic bag to keep them fresh in for the week AND there are all of 5 everything seeds on the everything bagels. Disappointed doesn't even come close, will never be ordering from here again unless my goal is to find a mediocre chunk of gluten.

    The Eggceptional Sandwich Breakfast

Real mediocre bagels and did not receive what I ordered. No Reuben available today and got bacon instead of turkey sausage. Sad, cold power breakfast sandwich. Unable to order them toasted through Uber eats. One and done for me.

Appreciate the manager calling with an allergy question, but the bagels were bland, and the coffee was watery. Would not recommend.

It doesn't matter if you order online 20 minutes before you go there. Did that today and they hadn't pulled my order from the system yet. Place was packed with people waiting. Only 2 people working on a SUNDAY. They are chronically understaffed. I live down the street and have been giving this place a chance for 10 years. It's the same all the time. Either they can't find workers or management doesn't want to staff to meet busy weekend demand. I'm better off driving across town to Wicked Bagels - it takes less time and they have better stock.

Paid over $8 for the "hot pastrami sandwich." The disparity between the quite appetizing-looking…read moreitem featured in the menu picture and the poor excuse for a sandwich I received - a sad, flat puck with a single layer of virtually tasteless meat, a small amount of gooey cheese-like substance, a couple pickles, a sliver or two of onion and nothing else - was astounding. To make things worse, the salt-encrusted bagel it was on was so salty as to make the sandwich almost inedible (I had to scrape off the salt and even then it was hard to swallow). But that's partly on us, because they'd run out of many of the other bagel types (we'd wanted onion or everything) and we thought we'd try one we hadn't tried before. Lesson learned. But even on an edible bagel, this sandwich would be an incredible, almost mindblowing ripoff - on the approximate level of something you might get from a railway station vending machine. For more than eight dollars, folks - that's half the cost of an entree at a decent restaurant! I would have been annoyed if I'd paid $3 for a sandwich this pitiful. Save your money and buy some mid-quality lunch meat and cheese at a supermarket. Maybe get the bagels themselves at Bruegger's - last time we got a dozen assorted bagels for a brunch at home they weren't bad. But avoid the salt-encrusted monstrosity at all costs if you value your palate. (Note: I've had good sandwiches from the Belmont branch of Bruegger's, so it might just be this branch.)

Some are drive-thru only (like the one near my house). I'm gonna talk about the former real quick. Naturally, the menu is basically the same. On this day, I was having lunch. Ergo, I opted to try the Chipotle Short Rib & Egg burrito (as a bowl because I'm a man of culture) accompanied with a cup of chowdah. I must say...I expected there to be a bit more flavor, what - with the Chipotle sauce n' all. Alas, I had to add my own salt. This is mostly a nitpick, but really...can we please season our beef? Just a lil bit even? So, the biggest difference you'll notice at this location is the parking situation. It's....annoying. Because on the one hand, you technically have ample amounts of spaces to park in. Or...you WOULD, if not for the signs en masse that read "[insert corporate company name here] parking only - all violators will be towed at owner's expense." I find this hilarious because I feel like that would be impossible to enforce for folks parking less than 10 minutes to pick up an order like I did. So, I guess my pro tip of the day would be: feel free to park wherever at your own risk if and ONLY if you're getting take-away. If you're actually dining in, I suppose you'll have to wait painstakingly for one of the few parking spots actually designated for Pressed specifically to open. By the way, if you're picking up a take-away order, the take-out shelf is smack dab next to their side entrance opposite the side where you would normally order your food. It's one of those "blink once and you'll miss it" type things the first time visiting. From my vantage point, this place stays quite busy. Not surprising, considering the Burlington area in general. Clearly, a lot of folks come here mid-work day which is also the only reason I came here to begin with. Overall, not a bad lunch stop, though the parking can be slightly obnoxious. I'm giving Pressed Cafe in Burlington 4 Chipotle Short Rib bowls dubiously seasoned out of 5.

The blueberry bagel I had that day was absolutely superb, probably the best blueberry bagel I've ever had in Boston. A few days later, I craved that same blueberry bagel and made the trip back, which is a considerable drive for me. Upon arrival, I was told that blueberry bagels are not offered every day and are only available on Thursdays. I returned the following Thursday, but the experience was very different. I got blueberry, poppy, and a few other bagels to take home. Unfortunately, all of them were absolutely disappointing. They tasted extremely off and very different from the blueberry bagel I had previously. At home, my family ate about half of what we purchased, but none of us had any desire to finish the rest. Overall, the experience was unpleasant, and the bagels were not enjoyable at all. The blueberry bagel from my first visit looked and tasted amazing and was completely different in quality from what I received on my second visit. On top of that, the person behind the counter seemed careless with hygiene, touching the screen, bagels, and other surfaces without any apparent attention to cleanliness. It felt like a completely different place compared to my first visit just a couple of weeks earlier. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed.
