We came in on a Friday night and sat at the bar. Maline was the best bartender ever :)-attentive and full of great food and drink suggestions. Th my have a great selection of wine and beers on tap. The cheese triangles were magical. Come here if you're craving some good Italian food or pizza. Great times! UPDATE: I've noticed that all the one-star reviews in here are from the same person or same party. Apparently they had a Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Pizza Party. But, don't let their copy-and-paste reviews fool you. This place rocks.

This was a great place to stop after a long drive. I picked up 2 gf pizzas and a full dinner salad after a long day on the road. It was busy on a Friday night but the service was excellent. Bummed I didn't get pics of the food, but we were so hungry the food was gone before I even thought of it! Great gf option for pizza in the area! I was a little daunted by the "I GLUTEN" sign in the window, but I get it. If I could I would too. I'm glad I ordered the salad too, the pizza was deliciously crisp and thin. We had a med gf pepperoni and a med gf salami mushroom olive. Great sauce, super nice service. The salad was good too, yummy pickled beets!

I got the cheese sticks because of the glowing reviews on here and they really are amazing! I recommend eating them cheese side down so you get maximum flavor. Cheesy, garlicky goodness. My friend said she tasted olive oil too which she thought gave it even more good flavor. I also got a Hawaiian pizza which was pretty good. Nice crust texture. And our waiter was good too. My one complaint.... Please get rid of the fake windowsills in the booths! I hit my head pretty hard twice and my friend did too! Not cool to have something sticking out of the wall right where your head goes!

From the road, I thought this was a tattoo parlor, based on the font of the sign. I had pulled in to the parking lot to turn around and head elsewhere and realized this was a restaurant. Yippee!! I found a spot and took my hungry family inside for dinner. We were immediately greeted and taken to a booth near the door. Our server was friendly and took our drink order quickly. I requested the wine flight and asked for his recommendation, which he said he'd get some input on from the back. After placing my food order, he went back to the manager and asked what wine would pair well. They brought me three different whites, which surprised me with pizza, but it worked! It was a fun way to try different wines. The food came out fairly quickly-just the right amount of time I'd expect to wait for made-from-scratch food. One bite of my pizza and I knew I was hooked. The flavors of the pepperoni, mushroom and ground sausage danced in my mouth-making each bite a pleasure! (I hate cheese, so ordered my 'za cheeseless, which is how I got it. I'm sure for more traditional pizza lovers, you'd prefer the cheese. But this was perfect for me!) My son ordered some wings, which he reported were very good. My wife stayed true to her diet and ordered a salad-and she loved it! She did mention that she'd likely try the raspberry or strawberry vinaigrette next time, rather than the plain one. I'm already craving it again-will be back very soon!

Went with a good friend to lunch today. He's been raving about the quality of the food at Wicked Peel Pizza Kitchen. We were the first customers through the door today. The atmosphere is casual; perhaps a few too many beer advertisements than I like, but it does highlight that they've got options, if you're into that sort of thing. Our hostess got to us quickly and seated us in a comfortable booth. A brief moment with the menu told me exactly what I wanted: The Smokey - a BBQ chicken pizza with a really fabulous, tangy BBQ sauce. First to arrive at our table were the cheesy breadsticks my friend ordered. They looked delicious and tasted even better. It's hard to pull off a good breadstick pizza without it either tasting like cardboard or dripping with grease. These breadsticks were superb! A flatbread-style appetizer, they were so good with or without the marinara dipping sauce. I ended up eating 8 pieces. When The Smokey pizza arrived, I knew I was in for a treat even before my first bite. After the first bite, I knew I'd found a new favorite BBQ pizza which, for me, is a go to at any specialty pizza place. Even when I was full, I enjoyed another piece. The tangy BBQ sauce was so good, and was meted out perfectly so as not to overwhelm the other flavors. We had an opportunity to chat with our hostess for a minute at the end of the meal. Like the rest of the restaurant world, they're short-staffed, but you wouldn't know it by the way she treated the guests. She was attentive to everyone, and everyone we saw was really pleased with their food. Her efforts are commendable and made the lunch really enjoyable. For a specialty pizza place, they've also got salads and pasta dishes if you're not feeling the pizza. Our hostess told us they spend an incredible amount of time each day prepping salads so you're always guaranteed something fresh and delicious. I should mention that for a specialty pizza place, the prices were completely reasonable. Officially, I've found my new favorite pizza place. Do yourself a favor: go enjoy yourself some Wicked Peel pizza (or salad or pasta, if that's more your speed).

This is a great pizza joint in town. Delicious crust! We didn't know what to expect going in, but we're completely surprised.

Unfortunately my experience was disappointing before I even had a chance to eat. The restaurant's online hours showed it was open during prime dinner time on a Saturday, so I made the 25 minute drive only to find it closed with no explanation. A few other people arrived at the same time expecting to enjoy dinner here, but were equally confused and bummed. What made it even more confusing was a note on the door saying the restaurant was on vacation for 2 weeks, but the dates listed were for late June to early July. It's now late July. I'm not sure if the business forgot to update its hours or if something unexpected came up, but having inaccurate details online / unreachable contact made for a frustrating experience. I hope they can keep their online information up to date in the future as I'd still like the opportunity to try the food someday.

He took the time to step away, introduce himself, and personally welcome us. That simple gesture spoke volumes about how much he cares about his restaurant and the people who walk through the door. Great food will bring people in, but exceptional hospitality is what keeps them coming back. Gossip Kitchen 2 delivers both. Not only did the restaurant get a makeover, but so did the menu. The food was okay! I would argue it's about the same quality as what the old kitchen was serving but the menu is completely different. My breakfast sandwich was comically large. The pancakes -- heavy emphasis on "cakes" -- were so sweet. The hollandaise on the Benedict and the potatoes were seasoned well. (They "ran out" of ketchup so that was a bummer.) Everything was good but not necessarily something to write home about. The environment is the star of the show! Well decorated, great seating, and beautiful views. I hadn't been to the Ridge Cafe since before Covid, so it was fun coming back to see and taste the changes of ROR.
