I am an avid old school lover, however, sometimes you just want a slice of some random combinations and they always deliver that. The veggie combo was awesome. I almost didn't get it because I thought the onions was ham! Lol their bread stuck options are so good; mozz, parm garlic or pesto. Pesto is my fav. I wish places offered gluten free slices. I've been wanting to eat here since it opened! I've hesitated because it's located about a block ( same block) away from that huge homeless tent city and finding parking in that area is so difficult. With that said, I'm super bummed I waited so long because the Pizza was scrumptious deliciousness! It's super cute, clean, small but as we were there several people walked in for pick-up and they seemed to be regulars. Kind of a sign that the pizza is worthy for sure! It's rather trendy in a subtle way with big windows to people watch. They sell pizza by the slice too! ( which is always a bonus for me) A variety of drinks are in the cooler to choose from and service is FAST and FRIENDLY! There is a place to put your trash and food for recycling & composting!!! Quite possibly the worst gluten free crust I've ever had. It looked/felt like a burnt tortilla, and it fell apart as I ate it. I got a really simple margherita pizza and the sauce was very bland. My husbands pizza looked really great but when I tried a bite of it, all I could taste was the burnt flavor of the crust. I worked in a pizza place for years, and I'm guessing they were busy tonight and needed to sweep out their oven. Everything tasted like charred flour or cornmeal. Saw these guys on 2nd between Pike & Union, so I thought I make a detour from my usual lunch and try them out. Cool looking food truck and was hoping their pizza was the same. They had the standard slices available that day such as pepperoni, cheese pizzas and they also had some original/unique ones as well. I forgot the name of the one I got but it had cherries & turkey, cheese and some arugula on it. Seemed like an unusual combination but it was pretty good. I wished it was a bit heavier on the toppings as I wanted a bit more turkey on mines. Maybe I just got a less than desired slice and that's the way the dice went for me. Pizza crust was very thin and not too bad. May visit them again and try some other slices if I see them around the downtown area. About $5 per slice depending on which one you get. A little pricey for a slice but whatever. read more

Had only a little time to grab a bite to eat between performances nearby. Discovered this place just by looking at google map. Small place, tucked into a cool brick building. They have pizza by the slice which was perfect for our situation. I tried the prosciutto pear and my daughter had pepperoni. The slices are very large, thin crust and the employees crisp them up before bringing them to your table. There was a special for a slice of pizza and side salad (either Cesar or green) for only $8 and it was such a good deal! Plenty of food, the green salad even had artichoke hearts on it with tomato, cheese and black olives. This was a great place for a quick bite and I definitely want to go back and get another prosciutto pear pizza, it was so delicious. read more

Pizza was severely undercooked. They have a thin crust style which they failed to honor with the necessary crispness required to support the toppings. Excuse my language but it was like a limp d!€k If you are stoned or drunk and getting street pizza it is acceptable to fold and consume. I tried a Wicked Pies delivery tonight because I was too tired to make dinner and I'm so glad I did. The small gluten free pizza made up for its diminutive size with fresh herbs, delicious goat cheese and garlic Basil sauce, and house-made sausage (very tasty!). The gluten free crust was thin but robust in texture and flavor. The crust was loaded with toppings so this really felt and tasted like a full dinner, not just a snack. I had a slice of pizza this weekend at the Ballard Seafood Festival and it was really good. The pepperoni pizza was just out of the oven and it looked delicious. From crispy crust and tasty slices of 'za to rad music (New order, Siouxsie and the Banshees - you get the idea) and brews, I'm glad my friends and I stopped in here for a quick bite. I ordered the classic pep and cheese slice with a brew. I loaded the slices up with parm, red pepper flakes and some Italian seasoning which just added to the delicious tasty. I love when pizza is good pizza, and, well, Wicked Pies is GREAT pizza. The other slices are interesting combinations and looked awesome, but I was feelin' pretty classic and rolled with my gut. Been meaning to leave this review. I placed an order online for delivery. I didn't receive the pizza order that I placed. I would suggest not doing your order online and instead calling them. I just feel that when it's in front of you written in plain English, it should be very clear. This makes sense to me, so I'm not sure how it ended up arriving with the wrong sauce and daiya cheese all over it. The other pizza didn't seem to have the same problems. Wicked Pies throws down some great pizza! Upon walking in, Wicked is a cozy little place that is clean and has that great pizza dough being baked smell. They have 2 different sizes of whole pizzas, a gluten free size, and pizza by the slice is available. Some people may bitch that a large specialty pizza is around 28 bucks, but don't listen to them. Do it, order one! If you're on a budget buy a slice instead, you'll be glad you did. I ordered a Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushroom, and Olive pizza. It was excellent. The sausage is made in house and all of the ingredients are fresh. Very good quality cheese too! You can swap between red, pesto, and some other sauce I can't remember. The crust is damn close to amazing. The first 3/4 of the slice is thin and foldable with a some chew to it. The remaining part puffs up a bit and has a good crunch on the outside with a soft chewy center. The crust is very good here. You should buy a large and take the rest home. This is how the pros do it! We also ordered one of the pesto bread sticks and if you like pesto, this is a must! The ladies here are friendly and make good recommendations. This is probably the best pizza that I've tried so far in the area. I'm a crust snob and the crust on their pies is very light, slightly crunchy and soft in the middle. Just the way I like it. These guys are doing nice work and odds are, they're doing it near you sometimes. They're definitely not the cheapest slice in town, but they make real pizza and they serve it in places where a slice sounds great...but is not typically available. They have the typical size food truck, which they have outfitted with baking ovens and warming ovens. They make giant thin-crust pies and serve big slices of them--half a foot wide, and longer than that front to back. The crust gets a little dark in spots, bubbles up, shows a little tiny bit of crunch and some real chew to it. It falls just a whisker short of crackery, which might not be utter perfection for some chewers, but it's definitely one of the better crusts in town. For a truck, that's saying something. The toppings are pretty gourmet. They get nice thinly-sliced meats, some good cheeses, fresh veg. They assemble them well. The pies really come out nicely--there's a good pepperoni, some nice more garden-y choices, and one called "From the Butcher" that has really nicely seasoned meats on it. Slices range from $4.50 to $5.75, which is four times what I remember paying for slices in college. Granted, that was a while ago, and this is truck, so this is fair. I was a little surprised at first, but the quality is really, really high, so it's alright. I wouldn't necessarily pay $46 for a whole pie--here or anywhere else--but if they roll up next to a cool bar, as they are wont to do, I'll gladly pay even ~$6 for a slice of this stuff. read more

The cheesy bread is to die for, long crusty pieces of pizza crusts slathered in pesto or mozzarella. Read about this new pizzeria in downtown Olympia on NextDoor. It's a week old and already the neighborhood is buzzing! We went there for dinner and had a DELICIOUS experience. I had the 'Laura Palmer' (prosciutto, gorgonzola goat cheese blend, fresh arugula, toasted pecans drizzled with handmade fig compote, mozzarella); hubby tried the 'Audrey Horne' (roma tomatoes, spinach, artichoke hearts, fresh and shredded mozzarella on a spicy olive oil base). I drove by the Tumwater Farmers Market, yesterday, stopped in and saw a long line at Wicked Pie and jumped in. I was not disappointed. My slice of pepperoni was a huge hot gooey crispy mess. I needed two plates and two hands to eat it while basking in the sunshine listening to beautiful music sung by a lady playing guitar and watching people buy fruit and flowers.
