My old favorite in the K-Town shopping center- Neulbom closed so I've been looking for some refreshing shaved ice since. And I think Wicked Snow is my new favorite. I got the matcha with red bean and my friend got a churro. The churro was actually really terrible and the staff apologized for it. I think they were just sitting around for too long. The ice is the star so I would recommend getting one of these instead. I love, love how soft and lightly sweet the shaved ice is here. It just melts in your mouth! The ice at Snowy Village is hit or miss and once it just tasted like it had been in the freezer for too long. I think the ice at Wicked Snow is slightly finer, so it melts more easily. I love the flavor and the texture. The matcha powder is not overpowering and honestly I could do with less red bean (it's always too sweet for me) but overall I really liked it. Pricing is similar to Snowy Village. But, Snow Village does have those tasty puff pastry taiyaki so if I'm ever craving shaved snow on that side of the highway, then I will probably go to Snowy Village. Otherwise, Wicked Snow is my new go-to shaved ice place. read more

I like that they offer 2 sizes. The small is about $8 with tax, and the amount is good for both 1 person and 2 people. I wish they have mix sauce for their snow instead of straight up condensed milk which can be a little too sweet. The customer service from this place is awesome. The cashiers are super friendly. One time, I ordered a green tea snow without red bean topping to-go. They forgot and put the red bean in, so they told me that they would make another one and ask me if I want to keep both anyway. I love that they were being honest about it instead of just scooping the red bean out. They also gave me a bag of ice to keep the to-go snow cold on the drive home, and the utensils and napkins were put in a small bag so they did not get wet. Overall, I think they go above and beyond to take care of the customers, which is a major reason why I will keep coming back. Keep up the good work! read more

This place has to one of my favorite dessert places in all of the DFW area! The bingsu here is absolutely delicious!! I always get the strawberry and mango shaved bingsu and it's so refreshing! It had really dry snow, very few and non-juicy, sour berries and too much jam or jelly that was sticky and hard to distribute. I did not think it was worth the price. My favorite is their coffee - it tastes like mix/ instant coffee and it comes with a shot of espresso. My other favorite is their strawberry. It tastes a lot like strawberry milk it's so creamy. Anyways, I came in and ordered a small Wicked Green (matcha) and Wicked Mango because of my love of matcha and mango. Like the overpriced desert at snow village, each one cost 8$ for a small. After waiting for 20 mins, I got my snow and to be honest it was extremely good. The mango tasted fresh and the matcha was perfectly sweetened. As much as my older daughter likes this place, we might have to stop going. The price had gone up $2 for the snow ice since 8 months ago. Not only that but they skimmed on the toppings too. We showed up at 9:30 one night and was turned away because they no longer make snow ice. We drove 20 minutes to get here. It is one thing to show up a few minutes before closing time but 30 minutes. This place is Wicked just as the name implies. I arrived at Wicked Snow at approximately 9:40 pm Thursday, 7/25/19. The man working the front area was chatting with customers, and when he saw us he immediately told us that the store was closed because he turned the "open" sign off in the front. I knew that this shop closed at 10, meaning that he was closing the store a whopping 20 minutes early just to chat with his buddies and get home early to do whatever the heck wants. I drove 25 minutes just to eat this place, and it is WRONG to turn customers down that early. I hope the owner sees this post and that man is fired. Please, purge the Wicked from your Wicked Snow, and I would be happy to return. Until then, your snow should be melting with the wicked in hell. read more

Finally a true competitor to Snowy Village. Came here twice already and was told from a friend that just came back from Korea that the desserts tasted almost the same. We got the mango and green tea flavor. I don't think they do do combination but will definitely ask next time. The mangos were sweet and they also infuse with mango syrup. Just tried it for the first time today, the store isn't very kid friendly, we waited over 20 minutes to get 3 things. The portions are way to big for one person. We got the chocolate, the mango and the coffee. The coffee one was sooooo bitter. It had a tiny sweet topping but the entire thing was basically frozen black coffee. Was NOT expecting that. The mango topping was soooo yummy but the mango ice tasted like watered down gritty mango, not a good taste. The best one I'd recommend is the chocolate one. This is my favorite bingsu cafe! I especially love wicked coffee. It comes out with vanilla ice cream on top, caramel syrup, espresso shots, and more! I also love the grapefruit aide here. OUR NEW FAVORITE BINGSU SPOT! The portion was big and I really like how all the bingsu prices are all the same. Haven't tried their drinks or other desserts, but will definitely next time! Wicked green is matcha and wicked gold is injulmi flavored - we finished the wicked green so quickly and was very satisfied. The ice is creamy and soft and definitely full of milk and not just ice. Inside there was lots of red bean and matcha powder for us to mix up at the end so we weren't left with just milk at the bottom. For the size and quality, i would say it's more worth it than the few other cafes in the area that sell bingsu! read more
