That is not necessary here this brunch blew me away, it was top-tier. To start, the restaurant is beautiful. There are so many design qualities that provide such a pleasant atmosphere. It's an open air dining experience or you could eat inside the seating is very comfortable. The service was impeccable. Let's get to the food. The buttermilk biscuits had such a profoundly wonderful flavor. It came with warm syrup and lots of butter. The pancake itself was so delicious that you could just eat it without syrup and it would still be good. I ordered the crabcakes Benedict I would like to say, WOW! This came with roasted baby potatoes, and the potatoes were so crunchy, velvety on the inside and they had a combination of Golden and purple potatoes, just loved them. The crabcake Benedict had the most delicious hollandaise and it had a touch of pleasant pepper spice. The eggs were cooked just right. I also ordered the açai bowl and it was brimming with fresh fruit and it had such a good flavor and very very refreshing. We also ordered the rustic breakfast and it was very pleasant. Based on this ultra successful brunch experience. I am so looking forward to coming back to eat brunch and also to try the dinner menu. I believe they truly care about what they're serving. These are chef curated meals that have creativity, nuanced bold and gentle flavors, combined with freshness, ingenuity, and fantastic execution. New favorite for sure!

From the moment we arrived everyone was exceptionally friendly. Three of us split burrata and Caesar salads, a burger, pizza and crab cakes. Everything was delicious and service was well- paced. Especially liked the salads-very high quality. Would have liked some crackers or bread with the burrata salad and crab cakes. The wine list was better than most and offered a good variety. Among the many new restaurants in Solana Beach, Lana was one of the most enjoyable. If there's a negative it's that it's a bit expensive and it adds up. Our meal cost $200 including tip. Looking forward to returning, but not affordable to do weekly.

The manager, Andrea, along with Tara, took amazing care of me and my friends. They were attentive without being overbearing, super friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome the whole time, which is something you don't always get. I ordered an Aperol Spritz, (if you ever ordered, please get it with campari. we also got a margarita, both were perfectly made. The spritz was refreshing and well-balanced, and the margarita was just as good, not too sweet and really smooth. Definitely a great start to the night. The food was just as impressive. Everything came out surprisingly fast, especially considering how good it was. You can tell there's real attention to quality and flavor. The ambiance is another highlight. It has this relaxed, chill vibe but still feels put together and a little bit "cute" in the best way. It's the kind of place that works perfectly whether you're going on a date, catching up with friends, or just want a nice casual dinner without it feeling basic. Overall, great service, delicious food, quick turnaround, and a really enjoyable atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back

Favorites are: the wedge salad, the steak frites, the chicken sandwich and the truffle fries, so delicious! A new favorite is the lobster bisque, one of the best I have had. The open air seating is a real plus. Even when sitting inside, the air flows throughout the restaurant. Usually, the service is very good. Recently though, had a rough visit. The person that was sort of taking care of our table was curt, abrupt, uninterested and didn't seem to care when we ordered something, it didn't arrive to the table because they didn't put the order in. When mentioned, they shrugged it off in a somewhat snarky way. Other tables seemed to be well taken care of. Maybe, just a bad day for this particular person, but leaves us with a bit of a disappointing feeling. As much as we enjoy SB Kitchen, not sure it's still in the list.

Our table 4 enjoyed the 8-ounce filet mignon, $68, the 60-ounce bull's-eye ribeye, $74, and a tasty mac & cheese, $15. Excellent cuts of meat. Prepared to order. Creative array of cocktails. Lively bar area. Wines by the glass from $17-$43. Local draft beers. Expensive wine list. The cheapest white is $60 a bottle for an Albarino from California, $72 for a Santa Barbara Pinot Noir, and then up to sell several over $200 and $300. The Dominus, from Napa, is $620. We brought our own wines; corkage is $35. Service is among the best we've experienced in the county. This included the handling of our two older wines and great busing service throughout the dinner, with water refills and well-orchestrated clearing of the plates. Somewhat dark, noisy interior, outdoor patio for casual dining and happy hour fun, watching the colorful crowds passing by on this busy section of Solana Beach.

We had this fun bar table so we were higher off the ground. It was cold, so sitting near the door was not fun when the door kept opening and closing with that draft coming in. That made our experience a little more annoying. Most of us had to keep our jacket on to stay warm. Wasn't really expecting to wear my jacket during dinner. Anyways, forget my coldness for a second. The food was delicious and here I go: Parker House Rolls (we ordered 2)....YUM! fresh out of the oven....soft and just yum! Bacon: it was alright....not a fan of the glaze, but others in my party liked it. Boards: Associate (1) and Executive (1) Meat: 8 oz snake river wagyu and 22 oz dry-aged ribeye Sides: Potato au gratin (2), asparagus (1), whipped potatoes (2), shell mac (2) and broccolini (1) It was a great experience, definitely on the pricey side, but my daughter enjoyed her 21st birthday dinner surprise with family!

We were looking for a fun evening to bring in the Christmas spirit post Thanksgiving and I saw this advertised concert on the website that I thought our daughter would really enjoy. I went ahead and purchased our tickets which were very reasonable for a show. I love that Belly Up has its own website so people can still afford to attend their shows. We saw Grammy nominated and Father of Contemporary Jazz David Benoit perform all the Peanuts Christmas songs from A Charlie Brown Christmas. WOW! What a terrific show! We sat on the main floor right up close to the stage and we all had such a good time especially our daughter as it was a surprise show for her. The layout is perfect with lots of open space, a bar area, dance floor and a second level. It is quite large inside but you cannot see that from the outside. Acoustics are perfect and David Benoit is still the master of the piano. He had a guest vocalist Courtney Fortune which added to the evening performance. Parking is about the only challenge so we made sure to arrive extra early and grabbed a spot right out front. Also parking was free! I definitely recommend this venue for good service and great music.
