That horrendous haircut was the first that I had gotten in the San Antonio area since we moved down here last year. I thought I could just live with it, but I like to go six months between haircuts and there was no way I was going let myself continue to look like I did for 4.5 more months. The salon is located in a tranquil area just off the beaten path but close to 35. The decor is modern and it's very clean. The vibe inside the salon is also very peaceful. Paul was very professional, listened to my complaints, offered good feedback, and gave me the face framing angles I was looking for. Then, he gave me a nice style so I could go home with an extra special look that my husband wouldn't be able to miss. The color I got from the other salon was (is) also a mess, and Paul offered his opinions about my next steps. I believe I will return soon to get my color corrected. I have to also add that when I got home from the salon, my husband commented on how amazing my hair looked perhaps three times in the first hour. I've been home for several hours now, and he is still pausing to look at me, smile, and compliment. Thank you, Paul! She reassured her and said it looked great. The client unfortunately left and didn't want to come back. Judy was going to do it free. Yes her other stylist help out with her client(s). But painting a narrative as if they're "slaves" is completely not true. Also, you pay for what you get. So if you're wanting to look good you're gonna pay good money. I've gotten my hair done twice here and will continue to come here because they all provide great service. It's all positive vibes. You can build relationships with the stylists and it's easy to make appointments.

She made my hair feel and look fantastic. I'm 50 dark hair until the grays started to invade so, she blended them quite well with highlights and a healthy trim. I love my hair again thank you.

Turning a child away at the door due to being ill-equipped and ill-prepared is something no parent should have to navigate. Our stylist Dani K. canceled on us twice in a row then called us with an attitude and she's a manager. Our next stylist, Sarah M. honestly expressed that she didn't even know how to do our daughter's hair after Audrey at the front desk assured us that we would not be canceled or rescheduled on again. Well guess what? We were rescheduled on again, for a third time. If I were to cancel my appointment without a 24-hour notice, this salon would eagerly enforce their strict cancellation policy and charge me without a second thought. Yet, they apparently feel completely justified in waiting until the exact moment my daughter and I walk through their doors to cancel on us. Their excuse for the third reschedule? They suddenly realized they were ill-prepared to do my daughter's hair. A professional establishment knows the capabilities of its stylists and communicates appropriately during the booking process. Waiting until we arrive to turn a child away is not only cowardly and blatantly unprofessional, but it also feels incredibly targeted. I was so excited to see her again after 11 months of not getting my hair cut due to having a crappy job who worked me ragged. But on the day of my appointment , she sent a confirmation text at 9:06 am and my appointment which was at 10:30 am . She cancelled the appointment at 9:58 am, no warning about this policy or anything, not a " hey, look out for a confirmation text " etc. I'm a person who barely has the time to take care of myself . I am also a new mother , and now that I'm on maternity leave, I thought I could finally get a haircut . The reason why I was unable to answer her text was because I was breastfeeding my baby, burping him and then giving him to his father so I can leave to get to my appointment on time . I arrived at 10:20 am and that's when I looked at my text messages . My phone was also on silent so it wouldn't disturb the baby. I pleaded with her and all she said was that she was sorry . If I only knew about the policy or if a confirmation text was sent at least a day ahead I would have confirmed . I am now crying in my car , maybe it's the hormones I don't know . But the fact I am being punished for other people not showing to her appointments is ridiculous . I don't know how someone can be this cold hearted to a customer .

You can tell she really cares about her clients, and takes the time to do things right. Her color and cuts are phenomenal, and makes my hair look fabulous. She always nails what I want, and easily transitions my hair for the season. She's helped me maintain my highlights while still growing my hair out. I am always getting compliments on how healthy it looks. I never miss a monthly appointment with her. 10/10 would recommend!
