Oh sweet nostalgia. I grew up in West Texas and in Lubbock we had two. One of them had a huge plane inside that you could eat on the wings (at least that's how I remember it). I loved it so much that my Aunt game me the nickname that she still calls me "wieneeworld", which doesn't translate well as an adult. So happy this location exist. Great service every time. I drove out here from Frisco because my wife was excited about going there when we passed by one Sunday afternoon. We packed up the kids (2, 3, 4 year olds) and drove 20 minutes. We went here after bowling one night because we have been wanting to get back here, but are never really in that area. The drive thru line was incredibly long, but we were hungry. I'm pretty sure part of the reason the line was so long was because the staff was less than thrilled to be working that night. The food here is decent if you are craving a chili dog/corn dog. However, the restaurant itself has very limited seating and the place overall is run down. During my visit all the tables and floors were dirty. Several small water puddles on the floor. The walls are also dirty and there is always a bad stench like dirty water / sewage. Several flies buzzing around. Not very appetizing. If the dining and common areas are not kept clean, I can only imagine the kitchen and prep areas. I checked the men's restroom and it was quite dirty as well. At least 6 used paper towels on the floor and overall dirty sink/toilet. How does management allow these conditions? read more

Husband & I get food here often if we want something light. We have been pleasantly surprised at the friendliness & good food we get there. Until tonight! My husband ordered 2 all beef kraut dogs on pretzel buns with no mustard, 2 chili cheese dogs, poppers, 1 medium wild berry lemonade & 1 large Coke Zero. Very clear, very specific & it's our regular order. The woman did not repeat our order & they have no screen to confirm order. But we never had a problem until tonite. A young girl rang us up & gave us only 1 drink, so my husband repeated the 2 drinks he ordered. It got worse instead of better. The girl was helpless. Whoever took our order said 2 plain all beef dogs on pretzel buns- totally missed the "kraut". She got the chili cheese dogs right, but only said 1 drink- a medium strawberry lemonade, NOT wild berry as ordered & what about the large Coke Zero? The girl added $1.08 for 2 sides of kraut & handed us an additional receipt. When my husband asked where was the Coke Zero, he had to reexplain he ordered 1 large Coke Zero & 1 medium wild berry lemonade, NO strawberry(I HATE strawberry!) Instead of correcting the drink order, she charges us another $7.56 for the 2 drinks we originally ordered. I wanted to hand her the strawberry lemonade & get a credit for what we did NOT order. We asked for the manager, who apparently actually took our order & fouled it up in the first place. She came to the window with an attitude! We explained we are regulars & placed our regular order, but it was fouled up. Instead of being nice & professional, she said we didn't order what we did. The customer was wrong! No nice, no smile, no apology for her mistakes to a regular. Lady, you need to read back a customer's order for confirmation and take lessons in Customer Service. I'm usually the calm one, but the FUBAR, the manager's attitude toward a customer, 3 receipts made us leave PISSED OFF! All that over hot dogs. Go figure. read more

Food is pretty good, the Chicago dog was yummy, as were the jalapeño poppers. Small staff of four from what I could see and they were doing a very good job keeping up with the flow. One of our corn dogs was missing, not a huge problem, fries and iced tea weren't very good. We will be back, we will simply not order the things we didn't care for. I grew up in LA and there was an A frame Wienerschnitzel near our house. I can remember only eating there once, so I visiting today was not really nostalgic for me. I was just craving a corn dog ever since I passed on it from a NYC foodcart recently. I ordered an all beef chili cheese dog, chili cheese fries with jalapeños and a corn dog. The chili and corn dogs were very good. The fries were cold and I did not really care for the chili. Service was quick and friendly. The whole time I ate, I thought my stomach would regret eating such guilt-inducing food. However, so far I don't have anything remotely like Montezuma's revenge.
