Got an AMAZING BEST EVER SUB you cannot imagine how good they are! First one (now after 100 later) was a BLTA - bacon lettuce tomato and avocado. I add turkey to it and it's a toasted delight! It's just so different from all the other places that sell subs. Their bread is great and ingredients are fresh and made right there in front of you. The staff could have been more attentive to who's coming in and when. I'd never been to Potbelly's and was following the line of people to the register. For one, because the whole staff was so engaged with the propel in front of us. Then I saw someone taking the order of someone behind us. Apparently there is a spot to place your order before moving down the line. No one was there when we walked past. When I got my Skinny Turkey Avo I was confused. My understanding of a skinny sandwich was the cutting down of the bread. Even though I ordered wheat (healthier choice than white) I thought it was still too much bread. So apparently Potbelly's version of a skinny sandwich means light on the meat. I kept opening my sandwich looking for the turkey. We've ordered and picked up sandwiches from Potbelly's a few times now. The food is delicious. My husband loves the Steakhouse beef loaded. He adds horseradish, aioli and hot peppers yes, he likes his spice! I have tried the Avo Turkey, Steakhouse beef, and the Wreck. All are delicious. I especially loved the Wreck. 'A meaty fan favorite! Turkey breast, hickory smoked ham, Angus roast beef, salami,& Swiss'. I added lettuce, tomato, mayo and hot peppers. Wow. Great sandwich. Now, I'm not a big fan of peppers but my daughter told me she loves the ones at Potbelly's and they have a great flavor. She is correct !! They were hot but not so hot you couldn't taste the flavor. So that's a win to me. I plan on working my way through the menu. That's how happy I've been with what I've tried so far. The do have an app. My husband does the ordering and he had some trouble with it but he's technologically challenged (lol) so I really can't say if that's a thing I definitely recommend Potbelly's. Don't let the 3 stars fool you, I liked Potbelly. It's not my favorite sub shop, but it'll do in a pinch. Here's my breakdown. Favorites: *The bread. I'm a sucker for any place that can successfully pull off the crunchy-on-the-outside/soft-on-the-inside combination and Potbelly's bread rocks out with its...er, flour out. Or something like that. *The spicy peppers. I never knew that pickled jalapenos, onions and bits of carrot could taste so good on a sub. They add a layer of flavor to what could be a forgettable sub without them. *A regular (small) Wreck, bag of chips and large tea was $7.89. Score another round for the under $10 lunch. Not So Favorites: *The sub was good. Really. But by the time I finished it, I was a little bored. The flavor of the meats (salami, roast beef, turkey & ham) kinda blended together and there wasn't nearly enough salad to give it the cold/hot combination that I crave. (I might be a little spoiled by Jersey Mike's here) I can't say that Potbelly will knock my favorite joints from their top spots on my lunch rotation, but I'll certainly keep it in mind. read more

This location seems to have really fallen off. I had a bad experience today with what I believe was the store manager (?). It should be said this was after the lunch rush. I stepped up to place my order and the woman didn't look at me, acknowledge me, or ask me what I would like to have for lunch. Instead, she greeted and began talking with the woman directly behind me as if she was the next customer in line. I felt like the invisible man. After taking the order for the woman behind me (who was obviously some long lost friend - more on that later) she looked at me and flatly asked, "have you been helped?". I replied no and politely placed my order. When the next preparer asked me what kind of sandwich I was having it turned out the manager got my sandwich order wrong. No doubt because she was so eager to chat with her friend. The preparer, to his credit, asked the details of what I wanted on the sandwich and offered to bring it out to my table when it was done, so I stepped to the register and paid for my meal. As I turned to find a seat I noticed an open booth and began walking over to have a seat when the manager briskly walked past me carrying a salad and placed it on the booth table before I could get there. Turned out, she had personally carried her friend's lunch to the first open booth to save the table before her friend had even paid for the meal. At any rate, today I felt like a second class patron at a location I have frequented for years. It was my first time there and 3 out of 4 orders was wrong. I alone, ordered for 4 adults in the store (they were at the house) and ive never been there so i didnt know the questions they typically ask. I ordered a farmhouse and received the uptown and the person who got that doesn't like blue cheese. So that wasnt eaten, so she ate half of my salad... So i ordered the pizza sandwich with no mushrooms, they then asked what i do want on it, thinking they would follow whats on the menu (bc the menu does have the veggies it comes with), so i just said "just like it comes with no mushrooms". She got it with a ton of jalapenos, lettus, and tomatos. The other sandwich was a roast beef, and once again they asked what to put on it and i replied "the person wanting the sandwich didnted tell me anything, so The way it comes".
