My local place to go. Last week I went and the inside lady charged $5 for the 5 chili dogs or corn dogs. Today the drive thru lady charged $5.95 telling me the .95 cent part is very small on the sign. Giant $5 but tiny .95. My main reason for leaving a review is that the last few times the corn dogs taste bitter. I think they're not changing the old oil for new often enough. Makes me not want to return spending good $$$ to get bitter corn dogs. Also, compared to other fast food places, the fries and sodas are WAY over priced. I'll drive to McDonald's and get a giant soda for $1 where as a small soda is almost $2 at W. Perhaps corporate controls pricing. read more

I love hotdogs! I love plain hot dogs with cheese only! That's my reason for going to wienerschnitzel. The owner (who I made a name for...Cheryl) is the rudest person I have ever had service me. I would think if i owned a restaurant or anything for that matter I would make damn sure to keep my customers happy...NOT THIS LADY!. A co-worker and I come here about 5x a month. 1-because the food is okay when you are hungry and 2- because there is nothing to eat in el segundo. Ushually when we eat here it is about 8 or 9 bucks. This Wienerschnitzel location is great. I've been going to Wienerschnitzel so much that I decided to help beta tester app a while ago. The check in app allows you to gain points based on your orders. When I first started using it none of the workers knew how to use it and I almost had to tell them how to put in the three digit code the app provides to recognize that I had checked in and attach my order to my account. I was to a FreeMail in my app so the manager showed employee how to process that on the register. I also had those good old Wienerschnitzel coupons that come in the mail and I wanted to use that also. I was able to successfully get my free meal and use my coupon while also checking in on the app to get more points for the meal I paid for. I wanted to like this place, but after two occasions with unsatisfying results, I'm a hater. The first time I came the bread was too soggy and almost seemed to be dipped in water. And this was a plain hotdog! The second time I came I wont describe what happened for fear of my account being closed. Lets just say it was a bad experience and I did not finish eating the hotdog. My boyfriend and I had a late night craving for some corn dogs.. We got to the drive thru window ten mins before closing and admittedly quite indecisive about what to order. We spent about 5 minutes trying to make up our minds but Madison was so patient and sweet with us, even gave us suggestions.. even though it was probably the end of her long shift. I got a coupon for this place to get a Chili Cheese Dog, Chili Cheeseburger and Chili Cheese Fries for $4.99, so I had to check it out. I haven't been to a Wienerschnitzel in a long time, and I have never been to this location. I went yesterday after 530p. There were a few customers using the drive-thru. There were a couple of customers eating inside. When I went inside to do a take-out order, no one was at the counter. A worker came out soon, and she was really nice. A customer came while I was still ordering my food. The Chili Cheese Fries were a little greasy, but the food was overall good. The place looked pretty clean and there's plenty of parking. I love their chili dogs with the pretzel bun. Wienerschnitzel has always been a favorite, and I would usually get the chili cheese fries. I was pretty upset when they took off the chicken like nuggets and the varieties of lemonade, like the purple lemonade they used to have. But otherwise, I still like this place regardless. Still it is fast food, so you can't expect the best of the best from this fast food restaurant. They also have it to where you can book parties in the inside where you can sit down. My wife and I went to this location on mon nov 24th around 9:30 in the morning, we parked in a empty lot while we went to Starbucks to get a later for my wife before we ordered our food. After barely 15 to 20 minutes walking across the street to go back to the restaurant, we noticed our car was gone. Fearing it was stolen we went inside the restaurant to ask the manager about it, and with a very poor attitude she answered: " well you should park there, there is a sign" we told her we just walked across the street to get coffee before we come inside to order, she reply "well there is a sign" again and we shouldn't park there....we tried to explain we only walked away to get coffee before we ordered, and she kept responding....well I don't know...there is a sing, being rude and unsympathetic about what we had to say, my wife couldn't believe it, that somebody can be so tough an meant about a simple matter of 15 minutes ..and rudely engage in an argument with guests. She didn't care about what we had to say at all....just kept repeating over and over again " I don't care, I don't care you should read the sign"....my wife was so upset, she started to cry......we are working class people, whom try to always do the right thing....we had to pay $275 and walk to the towing company....because of course our car was our only means of transportation. At this day and age, it's hard to believe that a manager of a service industry establishment can be be so unyielding, and have no regard of what an inconvenience her tyrannical actions create to faithful guest llike us. Your corporate office and upper management, should be aware of how poorly you are represented by your store manager SHERYL and should be ashamed of the way repeating guest are treated. When we contacted the towing company, they informed us that indeed the manager called to have our vehicle towed. It's sad to learn that this are SHERYL'S priorities, rather to try to provide guest with good service......I do not believe that this is are the basis of which your company were build upon, after all what gain the manager SHERYL would get , if not only upset guest. Perhaps if circumstances would be different, if we parked there for three hours in the middle of your busy lunch rush, and we were interfering with your business, perhaps.......but at 9:30 in the morning with completely empty parking lot?.....As a consumer and as member of this community for over 30 years, I truly believe that corporate office and upper management should look deeply in to this matter. I rarely eat hot dogs or Wienerschnitzel in general but I had a taste for it. This location is about a 7-10 minute drive from my home. It was approximately 9:30PM. I arrived and no one was in the drive through line so I ordered four chili cheese dogs with shredded cheese and only two with onions. I figured it was a fairly simple order and my receipt reflected my exact order. I get my bag and drive home. Of course anxious and ready to eat I pull out the hot dogs and ALL of them have onions. The two with no onions were for my wife who absolutely despised onions so I had no choice but to go back. I arrived back and there are two people in line so I had to wait. I let the cashier know all the dogs had onions. He took the bag back and walked away as I was trying to inform him to be sure they have the shredded cheese and not the sliced cheese. He was out of sight before I could complete the sentence. He hands me a bag back and I check the dogs and they have the sliced cheese. I let him know they were still incorrect and he instantly became irritated and asked me to park so they could bring me my order and not hold up their line but not before rudely repeating back my order as if I was the one who screwed up my order. FINALLY I got my correct order but I was pretty much over it at this point. I got home at approximately 10:15 PM and the bread felt stale and old and the hot dog was salty it definitely wasn't worth the hassle. I'll never eat at this location again ! read more

Since it was National Hot Dog day on Sat, we thought what best to do than to eat at Wienerschnitzel on Hawthorne Blvd near Marine Ave! It is located in a former restaurant, has dine in and drive-through eating options. It had been years since we have eaten at Wienerschnitzel. We had delicious, fresh hot dogs / polish dog / fries and our drive-through wait staff was very polite and accommodating so we gave him a $10+ tip - he was SURPRISED!
