Mike's Way: Dog hair, dander, fleas & tomato. Unsanitary and allergen hazard. I walked in thinking I was going to grab a sandwich and sit down for a quick lunch. Unfortunately, not the case. There was a dog frolicking around inside, the owner allowed it to run up against the chip and cookie rack. Jersey Mike's employees said nothing and let this go on. The was also picked up and sat in the stool and not one time did the employees put a stop to it. There was a comment for this particular location that mention it smells like a pet mill or puppy store and this would be the reason why. The employees are allow dogs inside of a place where food is being prepared and eaten. Disgusting!! I will never eat here again because it is extremely unsanitary. Eeeyuucckkkkkk! read more

Very disappointed with the service at Jersey Mike's. The food itself was good as usual, but the entire purpose of ordering online was completely defeated. We placed our order online, prepaid, and selected a 10:15 AM pickup time because we were on a very tight schedule and needed the order ready when we arrived. We got there around 10:25 AM and discovered they had not even started making the order. I asked to speak with a manager and was told there was no manager available. I then asked to speak with whoever was in charge or the most senior employee there. The employee I spoke with (unfortunately I did not get her name) said they "had not seen the ticket." When I asked how that could happen and whether online tickets are checked first thing when the store opens, she simply shrugged her shoulders and seemed very casual and dismissive about the situation. I politely asked if they could please fast-track the order since we were in a hurry, and she responded, "Well, you are speaking to me, and as long as you are speaking to me, I can't work on your order." That came across as sarcastic, disrespectful, and very unprofessional -- especially because another employee was already preparing the order at that point. If a business is going to accept online orders and allow customers to choose pickup times, then there needs to be an internal process to ensure those orders are actually ready when promised. The store controls the available pickup windows, so if they cannot realistically fulfill orders by a certain time, they should not offer those times to customers. I got a regular #8 - club sub which was filled generously in terms of the meat. The cross section was great and the sandwich was delicious overall. It was very filling and even the regular was enough to spread across two meals. The veggies were very fresh and the sandwich was overall better than my first experience where I had the classic italian. I ordered for pickup so there wasn't much interaction but we were quick to be attended to and the service was great too. read more

That kind of rating isn't handed out lightly--especially in the world of sandwiches. But what she created wasn't just good. It was layered, balanced, flavorful, and perfectly built from top to bottom. It's rare, almost unheard of, to find that kind of harmony in something so simple and yet so easy to get wrong. I don't know if Daniela realizes just how talented she is, or if she's ever considered herself an artist in the food world--but she should. And the team she works with? Equally incredible. The worst experience I ever had at Jersey mikes! The sandwich maker Chris was upset that I decided to add guacamole to my sandwich at the end. He stated that I needed to tell him before so that the spoon doesn't touch the mayonnaise with avocado. He said he had to throw out the spoon and then threw the spoon in the sink mad. I think the italian sub here is in the top 2 italian subs in LA and I mean what I said! I've only had the Italian sub from here but every time it hasn't disappointed me. The vinegar, olive oil, and oregano combo doused on top of the sandwich are iconic af like their mountains of lettuce (I love not having to ask for more lettuce!) Ambience: It gets pretty busy around lunch time so order ahead for pick up! I came in around 12:15 PM on a Friday and the line was by the bathroom. Event though it was a bit hard to hear and communicate in such a busy environment, the staff was helpful, answered all my questions, and made sure I got all the fixings and condiments I wanted on the sandwich. Great customer service. I jokingly asked them to give me all the onions and they were very generous with the amount of onion! Thank you! If I worked/lived close by, I would try all their sandwiches :) Parking is usually easy since they have a shared lot with many businesses and there's a Costco around the corner. A great lunch spot located in the strip mall connected to the Costco in the Manhattan Beach/El Segundo area. I don't go to Jersey Mike's very often, but my coworker and I decided on this place today. I'm glad we did. I got the original Italian regular size. And I ordered it Mike's way. I'm not sure if I was really hungry or what, but I really enjoyed the sandwich. The taste of all those slices of Italian meats, the delicious bread, and fantastic toppings....this made for a great sandwich eating experience. The service was great too. The folks were friendly and helpful and highly efficient. We came during peak lunchtime, and I felt like we moved through the line pretty quickly. read more

Much props to leadership cus they have consistently good customer service here with good attitudes . They are helpful and friendly. Their worker Jacob hooked me up with a great suggestion on how to make my chipotle Steak Sub. Soooo good, highly recommend it. I'm calling it the Jacob special !! There is a girl what has this wonderful smile and sweet disposition all the time. Didn't get her name but she is the pretty one with the perfect smile . The whole team is really , really solid. Say what you will about processed meats and condiments rolled up in a sub sandwich but that's a go-to lunch for me. My east coast upbringing meant a lot of delicatessen sandwiches, sub shops, and overstuffed cold cuts. Jersey Mikes get it right. Fresh shaved meats and sliced cheeses, all the best condiments, oil and vinegar etc etc. A decent selection of breads too. This location is fast, they can process a long work week line of hungry lunchers well. They have a happy staff with smiling faces and they do not skimp in making a sandwich. Granted the shopping center can be a sh!t show when it comes to parking and getting in and out. But i'm a Jersey Mikes fan. read more

When I walked in there was only one customer in front of me. I thought great I will be in and out. Big mistake. It took them over 25 mins to make my sandwich from the time that I told the lady my order. They had online orders coming in as I was standing there and they made those first. Then the online customers started coming in to get their orders and they were not ready either. Then the front counter was out of bags so all 3 workers went in the back to get bags and nobody was at the front counter making the sandwiches. Terrible service! Placed a mobile order for a #13. Arrived at the time it said it would be ready. They hadn't even started making the sandwich yet. People who walked in, ordered, paid and left. My sandwich was still not ready. My coworker who rode with me and ordered after me got his sandwich before me. Finally after an extra 15-20 minutes I get a sandwich. I say a sandwich, because when I got back to work I discovered I had a tuna salad sandwich. Not what I ordered! I really regret adding a tip when I checked out. You would think if you order an online it would be ready when the app tells u or at least 10 mins after .. nope waited nearly 40 mins for my order saw a line go and then there wasn't a line anymore and my order still wasn't ready.. it would have been faster if i went through the line 3 times and my online order still wouldn't have been ready people who came after me were getting there order before me.. i kept asking these employees and they would walk away and not come back with any info on my order... it's so ridiculous because they have 9 employees... 9!!! and i was waiting there that long.. and on top of that the order was wrong.. totally ridiculous. maybe they should stop talking and hanging out and make the food correctly. they need some actual supervisors to direct and tell these employees what to do, because what i saw was no higher authority working and taking control. read more

We've been going to this Jersey Mike's once a week for years. The food is still pretty good but the service has gone downhill. Since we go so much we also appreciate the points but recently getting those points has been incredibly hard. Just this week we went in for a regular roasted chicken sandwich, pretty good. But not only did we NOT get the double points promised, we didn't get ANY POINTS. I sent a message on my husband's app 2 days ago. Still no points. And this has happened a few times before. Not sure if it's all the new employees or what. We've been loyal customers but it should not be so hard to get what's promised. Really really disappointed. Horrible customer service experience!!!!!!! Very long wait with only two people in front of me who also was waiting for someone to dress their sandwiches. There were about 5 employees behind the counter but not helping and Two managers sitting in the lobby. The rude employee that decided to help me was far from helpful very and dismissive. I told him my order he repeated back as if I was bothering him and repeated back the wrong order we did this 3 times which the 3rd time my daughter corrected him. The young man that was making my order was looking at the pictures hanging on the wall to figure out how to make the Philly that I ordered which I ordered as is. I am here for the training but if you know the store is busy and there are several extra employees someone should help. After the rude guy finished taking my order he then helped the gentleman behind me and oddly enough he decided to give this guy the best jersey mikes experience and gave a list of the different breads and asked if he wanted it mikes way and they guy didn't ask for any of it he knew what he wanted and was on the phone at the same time. Yes I was offended because I am so confused why he treated me like trash and treated the next two customers soooooo exceptional. It made me question if he was if he was sexist or racist whichever it is it was uncalled for. Also I like to add topping to my sub and I said I would like to add topping had he asked if i wanted it mikes way he would have known. I said 3 different times to the girl behind the counter I would like to add toppings once my sandwich is off the grill she just stared at me with a blank look and did nothing. The rude guy get sandwich off grill wraps it up I again had to repeat that I would like to add stuff he got so aggravated that he spilled some of the meat crumbles up the paper and asked very passive what i want. (Rhetorical)...There was lettuce...My receipt reflects no lettuce add mayo...The sandwich tasted bland unlike I've ever had before...Who made this sandwich???...It's missing the pop tasty flavors...I'm very disappointed & dissatisfied...No napkins, no flavors = no bueno... The red wine vinegar, the oregano and salt is lacking... The sandwich wasn't properly packaged either...It was wrapped however it wasn't placed in the long sub paper bag before being placed in the tamper resistant paper bag... Ordered on the app. Arrived 10 min after estimated pick-up time to give a little cushion for my order to be ready, but my order wasn't ready. The place was empty and there were four employees there. The worker acknowledged me and said she was starting my order. She was the only worker waiting on customers. She was working at a leisurely pace, stopping to turn and talk with her co-workers and laugh about conversations they were having. A woman walked in (after me) and the worker started helping her. When I asked about my order, the worker said they needed to slice more peppers (they ran out). Meanwhile one of the employees helped carry a large heavy box out to the car of another employee. He wore his food prep gloves while doing this. Upon re-entering the store, he opened the outside-facing door with his gloves on and then went directly behind the counter to help make the orders, using the same gloves that had touched the outside door handle. So gross! By the time I left, my order was 26 minutes late (and there was still just me and the other customer in the shop). The employees at this store need to be retrained on process, food safety, and work ethic. They need supervision too. I've gone to three other Jersey Mike's in CA and all three were well run and provided very good customer service (and delicious sandwiches). I will not return to this location, especially because of the food safety issue I witnessed. read more

I normally would give this store five stars but my last two visits last Thursday and today 8/14/24 I can honestly say the service was very slow with today's causing me to walk out without ordering. When I arrived today I was behind four people waiting to order. After fifteen minutes and only moving up two spots I left. I understand online orders are very abundant but don't cause the in store customers to suffer. I'm not sure if Gaurrin still owns this location but he would not be happy with the slow service. First time eating at Jersey mikes, and it was very good. I ordered the Turkey sub on wheat, and my wife ordered the Philly cheese steak. Both were very good. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was super friendly and helped us out as this was our first time. It wasn't too loud when we were there but it might be loud during lunch, it feels like this spot gets busy. There was a steady stream of people when we were there at 4pm so could only imagine during lunch. read more
