Warehouse style store that has everything related to farm life. No, I'm not a farmer nor do I live on a farm but I still found some cool things (for my dog) one of those being liquid Ivermectin. She had a skin condition that Ivermectin could supposedly help *got that info from TikTok*. I called in advance to find out if they had the product, and if they did, could they put it on hold? They were nice enough to put it on hold, lucky for me because it was the last one. Once I picked it up and got home, I realized that half of it had spilled out. There was no seal on the bottle and as you can see in my pictures, the box had absorbed whatever spilled out. I called the store immediately and told them what happened and also stated that the sales person didn't mention that I needed to keep it upright, although I do believe it was supposed to have a seal so maybe this was used? I asked for a full refund and again lucky for me, they agreed. My experience was a 7 out of 10 simply because I had to drive all the way back to their location to return it (nobody nearby sold that particular product and I didn't have time to wait for it on Amazon). Points also deducted because I wasn't told to keep the product upright, and for the fact that it wasn't sealed. Basically all the points that I'm giving them are for accepting the return and giving me a full refund. Would I go back? Possibly. However, should there be a "next time" I may need any sort of liquid medication, I'll open it in the store first to make sure the product is sealed. read more

It smells like a feed store, molasses and hay and maybe some chemicals thrown in..But wait..What's that sound? It sound like a slipping fan belt, eek, eek, eek. No, It's Peep, Peep, Peep. I gotta see this, so in the room behind the cash register are about 200 baby chicks of 6 varieties. Rhode Island Red, Americana and more, each the size of a 50 cent piece. So cute! But no, I couldn't buy chicks today. Instead, I bought Two dozen Farm Fresh, possibly Free Range, eggs. I've already been eating these for a week so I'm happy to get local eggs. These are clean (not sure if they've been washed). Every one is different as they may not come from the same farmer. I know they don't come from the same hens. This is a mixed dozen with some brown, some white and some green. Now I must say..when I had my own chickens...If you feed them red bell peppers they will have yolks the color of sunset... Many of these eggs have the 'spot from the rooster". I don't care if my eggs have been fertilized or not. The eggs do seem clean and have a wonderful taste.. I'm going back in two days. I agree with a previous comment regarding masks. They don't wear them and seem proud of it. The time for making a personal statement about masks is over. Covid is sweeping the state and we all need to do our part to get things moving again. I like Wilbur's but it is time for them to lesn in on this. read more

I'm disgusted and never going back to this place. In the midst of a pandemic, the three guys working in the office aren't wearing masks and seem proud of it when questioned about it. From now I'm going to Tractor Supply or Vanella's Farm Store in Durham where everyone inside wears masks and seems to take the risk of COVID-19 seriously. read more

Friendly store, out of the way and not too over crowded. They had a nice selection of feed, added bonus they carry Purina. It's good to see a not so liberal story and they encourage open carry. read more

My mother and I purchased 12 baby chicks on Friday. The staff was very knowledgeable and professional. We needed a complete set up, and they had everything we needed including the clearly marked medicated chick starter. Chicks are thriving ! read more

I left my saddle there on consignment and they sold it for LESS than the agreed upon price. When I questioned them about it, they tried telling me that they had called me with a lower offer and that I agreed to it. I don't know whom they called, but it wasn't me! Never trust them again! Last month the owner(?) told my daughter that if a 4-H'r brought him a buyer's' letter, then he would buy their animal at the fair. I took my daughter to Wilbur's Feed & Seed, dressed in her 4-H uniform, with a nicely written buyers' letter. Two weeks later, we saw him at the auction and he did not live up to his promise -- he did not purchase her lamb. Way to go Wilbur's! You disappointed a 13-year-old with your empty promise. I'll find another place to shop. read more

I went back to the store to return the chick starter that was not labeled "medicated" and placed my bag of dead chicks on the counter along with it. The owner gave me a hard time saying that I didn't tell them what I was feeding.*That shouldn't matter because I'm the customer & it's their job to LABEL THEIR PRODUCTS & also INFORM CUSTOMERS WHAT'S IN IT!!!! I did get my refund back but that doesn't matter. The manager's bad attitude towards me is unacceptable and I still have DEAD CHICKS that cost me money and more importantly pain because I watched them die slowly. read more

After shopping here for years I've been treated poorly for the last time. While they are a cute little country Feedstore their customer service sucks. The guys are rude and not very helpful. When someone acts like I'm putting them out when I'm trying to spend money at their store I am obviously shopping in the wrong place. C Bar D here I come. read more

Best feed store in town. they always have what you need and their prices are the best in town. The owner is very knowlegable. No matter waht I am picking up they will have it and if it's something special they will source it for me quicklly. Lowest price on hog feed, chicken feed, parrot feed and all of the other supplies.
