But the shorter dude u turned around and he was mocking me in Spanish thinking i didnt know any Spanish at all. However, I wish the store offered better training for its employees. Given that I drove five hours to visit this location, I don't think I will be returning. The reason for my lower rating is solely based on how the axolotls were housed. I'm not an axolotl expert, but I have read that they can temporarily be kept in small containers as long as the water is changed daily. However, how long are they kept in these containers? That said, seeing them in small containers on shelves near insect and lizard food felt sad and uncomfortable. It reminded me of how betta fish are often displayed in big pet chain stores. From what I've learned, axolotls do best in individual aquarium tanks with cycled, filtered water. I understand that retail space and logistics can make that challenging. An employee did mention they move them once their tail reaches the end of the container, but I'm sure that meant they move them to a bigger container. The water did look clean, so I'm hoping they're receiving frequent full water changes. I truly don't mean this as an attack -- it just made me sad. I came here with family while visiting from California, so not sure if selling them this way is common since they're illegal to own in CA. They're such unique and delicate creatures, and I wish their setup reflected that a bit more. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, because overall it really is a neat store!

They have cool clothes, hats, a huge pet section, shelving, tools, all kinds of useful things like hitches, trailer parts, actual trailers, and so much more to see. So glad that we decided to drive a little further on our weekend adventures and check this store out. My wife and I each ended up buying $30 to $40 worth of stuff at great prices. They had a lot of patriotic and American themed items which is right up our alley, especially on the 250th anniversary of 1776. We bought some cool items to celebrate that including Moon Pies and Ball jars. They had some kind of pet clinic or something inside the store. Reminded us a bit of Petco or Petsmart. People had their cats or dogs with them. It was great to see. We bought some treats for our bestest girl at home. We will definitely return. Great first visit.

Ordered 2 more bags of 40# litter from Petco's competitor and asked for help getting it into my car and 2 store employee's offered to help. I offered to pull my car up to the curb to load and employee said she was happy to push my cart out to my car. When I went to help lift the bag into the car, employee said 'I got you', and she lifted both bags herself. What a difference in how a business is ran.
