They are centrally located in Kingwood in the HEB shopping center at Kingwood Drive and West Lake Houston Parkway. Plenty of free parking and as soon as you step through the doorway you are greeted by an employee thanking you for visiting and asking if you need any assistance. The staff is knowledgeable on what the birds are eating right now as well as advice for types of food that will attract different types of birds or even food that squirrels don't like. They have all sorts of other bird related items like various bird feeders and bird baths and many other things. They have a membership program which I highly recommend. It does cost $25 per year but the benefits more than pay you back for that. Right off the bat joining you get a free gift that is often in the $10-20 range and all kinds of discounts from 15% every day on food, a $10 bird buck coupon for every $200 spent, 5% off bird food when on lower sale prices and you get member discounts throughout the year. Once you pick what you want and pay, the friendly staff member will even offer to carry out your items to your car. That's old fashioned customer service. One other thing is that many of the staff are real experts on birds and birds in our area. Sometimes I show them a picture of a bird I took that I can't identify and they can tell me what it is. Here are some pictures of the happy birds at my feeders enjoying what I brought home from Wild Birds Unlimited!

Bluejays come regularly to the feeder I bought from you guys, and on a cool, sunny day recently, this one (pictured) plopped down and spread its wings to sunbathe. I've seen chickens do the exact same, so figured that's what it was doing. When it was satisfied, it hopped up and flew away.

WE LOVE MARY'S ABOUT BIRDS!!!!!!!!!…read more I have been coming here for nearly 10 years, ever since I got my Lovebird from a breeder. It was the closest parrot specialty store to Magnolia when I was growing up. Now as I have grown older, my love for birds has grown! I confess, I have not been here in a while, and the last time I boarded Kiwi was 6 years ago. I moved out of Magnolia and now live in the Willowbrook area and I have been going to a different parrot store nearby. Getting ready for the Christmas 2019 Holiday, I needed to board my birds. This was I asked all of my friends that had experience with my babies...Alas, All of the friends I asked could not help me by just coming over to the apartment to feed and play with them. They were all busy with their own family and holiday stuff. The parrot store that I have been going to will not groom my Lovebird, and they would not board him. I don't even know the reason, they just have a no lovebird policy??? And ALTHOUGH Mary's is out of my way and a bit of a drive for me, I firmly believe that she was the BEST option. My birds did not seem skinny, and they did not seem to be missing feathers. All that was wrong is that they missed me. Once they saw me pass they door, they kept chirp-chirpin'. The condition of the boarding cages were clean and they had perches and they were kept in cages side by side so they could be around each other. Mary's really saved us this season!!! 10/10 would recommend!
