A main spot for me before or after work. Fun bar staff and typically a decent cap hill crowd that varies from service industry folks to joggers stopping in after a run around the neighborhood. Cool industry specials monday and tuesday nights, plus weekly events like trivia and maybe a game night on sundays? Also, corn dogs. read more

This seems like a nice little dive, and could be real nice and chill. It smells horrible here, the first thing you smell in the door is deep fryer and it doesn't let up. I've worked in restaurants for years and never left smelling so bad..had to shower immediately and my clothes and purse are airing out outside. My friends and I went here a few times and the last time we went our bill was $120 and we left completely sober. Watered down shots and when I went to ask about it the first time our bartender had even admitted it was water down. Came back bc we thought it was an off night and the exact same thing happened, we didn't order "chill shot" we just asked for Tito's yet it was literally water. My friend wrote a review and Dusty decided to be completely unprofessional and make fun of the fact that I was having a bad night yet we paid our bill, minded our business, sat at our table the whole time, and tipped. Not quite sure why we aren't allowed back.. no worries at all though I definitely would never even recommend anyone coming here. Make fun of our age all you want but you will no longer be getting anymore business from us which seems like something they need. Maybe corgi pub shouldn't be on Yelp if you're just going to be rude about honest reviews instead of fixing the problem. read more

Wild corgi pub has excellent food and that should be the main reason you go there. Most of the people that are in there seem really hip SKU kind of young and display exquisite etiquette. While the food is delicious, some of the quality comes from the fact that you could actually eat it. What I mean is a steak sandwich. Sometimes you bite into a steak sandwich and you have to tear it off like a dog to get it away from the sandwich so you can eat it. Sometimes when you bite into a bacon cheeseburger you have to rip the bacon with your teeth and end up either eating the entire slice or dropping some on the floor. At this place the steak sandwich bites off right in your mouth and you get A perfect mouthful every time the bacon is the same way. This is quality. I have been there 50 times. Oh yeah, sometimes I go in there a little drunk and my eyes are bigger than my stomach. I took home their bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg and all that the other night with mashed potatoes. Great food, great service. I'm a big fan of the bacon burgers. They also have a nice tap setup.

I have a thing for bacon, drag and local neighborhood bars. I was able to fulfill all this in a couple different occasions. The bacon candied pancakes with bourbon maple syrup had the perfect amount of sweet and savory. I also came here for dinner and ordered the bacon burger with tots. the burger was cooked to perfection and they also make a bacon onion jam that they put a generous amount of, it totally hit the spot. As far as for drinks I had their mimosa and a dark and stormy. staff and owners are super friendly and accommodating. They want to keep the quality of food high and support local distilleries and breweries. I'm looking forward to coming back! read more

This place is cool, however, one of the bartenders whose name is Dustin, was really rude to a couple of the clients. I thought they might have done something wrong. I asked them, but they said they did nothing wrong. He yelled at me that I should "sit my ass down". I said "hey I'm sorry dude, I will comply with the rules so I will sit down, you don't have to be rude". Then the guys in the table next to mine spoke to me, we exchanged numbers, as I get closer to listen to the guy a little better because of the loud music. Dusting yells "get the fuck out of here! I told you to sit your ass down and now you have to leave!" I apologized and explained I was just trying to listen to the guy a little better for his phone number, since he had asked to exchange contacts. He yelled "get the fuck out now!" Several times. It was quite the scene so I proceeded to walk out of the place. Dusting went ahead and pushed me out as I was walking outside. I was not even half way tipsy. Or did anything that seemed inappropriate. Which made it really upsetting and confusing to me as a client. My friends and I are never putting a foot in that place until this person is gone. My friends warned me about this situation. I thought they were exaggerating. But turns out it is exactly like they told me. Sadly, I had to find out the hard way. read more
