While traveling with my best friend to Texas we needed to find a breakfast joint so I put on my Yelping spidey senses and came up with this gem. After checking out the reviews I knew this was one of those joint I just had to check out. It's a really trendy cool looking place. It was clean and neat and had great photographs of all different kinds of things that involved eggs. My best friend got Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict with an everything muffin and I ordered a custom omelette with bacon cheddar and tomatoes. It was accompanied by cubed potatoes and a blueberry muffin. We both also ordered the fresh squeezed orange juice. It took a bit to get our food but has been mentioned in other reviews that orange juice was off the charts I think it only could get better if I had had it in Florida not Kentucky. My friends plate consisted of green chili corn cakes with poached eggs, chorizo, queso fundido, sour cream and avocado. She asked not to have sour cream but they gave it to her anyway. She absolutely loved it and raved about it. This is the only reason no five stars since she didn't get it the way she ordered it and because I have a sneaking suspicion that my potatoes were frozen other than that no complaints I'd come back here again! read more

Looks great.......... First of all, don't drink the water! It tastes more like chemicals than water...I hate to say this about an independently owned restaurant, but... the food was disappointingly unseasoned. The eggs were over cooked, and I asked for my steak to be cooked medium but it came out more well done than medium and the steak was very dry, and the skillet potato's had no seasoning, I was very disappointed in the food, but I have to say.... the place was clean and the service was very nice. I'm sure that I just ordered the wrong thing or just had a bad experience, seeing the reviews from so many other people. Try it yourself and make your own judgment. read more

Visiting family over the 4th of July and they suggested Wild Eggs. I found it very bright and clean. Food was excellent with large portions. I had the Creole omelet it had fresh shrimp along with cheese and veggies. It was on the spicy side but excellent. If I were to make any critical comment it would be our server while very nice was a tad bit slow, although I would definitely return. read more

Came to this place while stopped in Bowling Green on our Christmas drive to Ohio. Started off with coffee and their fresh squeezed OJ. The orange juice is seriously the best I've ever had. I would go back to this place, just for the OJ. My husbands coffee cup had lipstick on it from the previous diner. Simple mistake, but it makes you feel like nothing else is truly clean if they miss that! But we ordered. My husband ordered the hash, and added extra veggies. I got the spicy eggs Benedict. I forget what it was called. It had eggs, cheese, pico, with green chile cornbread. AMAZING!!! It could have been a touch warmer, but it didn't stop me from devouring it. They charged my husband an extra $1 for each different veggie he added. I guess it makes sense, but it's annoying when they only give you 2 pieces of zucchini. I love the brightness of this restaurant, it makes you awake and ready to try the tasty food options they have. I love the breakfast burrito, the bananas foster and the veggie eggs benny. I find myself craving the everything muffin at all hours of the day! It is a must have part of your breakfast. Although ,sometimes when you order the same few things almost every time you go the constancy of the flavors isn't always there, thats why I only gave 4 stars. We are happy bfast family goers today. Got in before breakfast rush started so we got a table quick although the restaurant is pretty spacious with lots of tables. Staff are very attentive and we got served immediately. I ordered Stuffed French Toast and its amazing. My husband said its too creamy for him. He ordered Calamity Egg Benedict and he truly loved it. When I first came to town I ate here and I was impressed by how cute and clean it was. The staff was friendly and I would like to say the food was good. I'm giving 2 stars only because I'm allergic to mushrooms and stated that upon ordering and they delivered my food with mushrooms still. I sent it back and they were gracious enough to comp the meal since the delay made my have to take it to go. Unfortunately, when I got to my house and started eating I quickly discovered mushrooms AGAIN and spent the rest of my day with a swollen throat and in a Benadryl coma. The owner did contact me to check on me after I called to report the incident though. She offered a gift card that a month later I still have never received. Sat down no one came over to offer coffee. Finally a waitress came to my table It was the same waitress that was taking care of the table next to me. Maybe she was inexperienced. I ordered the Mr Potato Head Casserole. A different waitress brought it out. It was cold. I found my waitress and told here is was cold. One minute later the dish returned. I asked if it was microwaved. The replied yes and asked if I wanted a fresh one. I replied yes. Still waiting. Hope it's hot this time. So far the service is poor. Absolutely delicious!!! This is a first class operation and well worth the stop. They have a wonderfully exciting menu with lots of dishes to choose from. LORD HAVE MERCY!!! I am beyond satisfied with this place. From the decor to the finger licking food! Absolutely amazing. The orange juice is superb, got a liter. I was really hoping for some actual mimosas but the food and prompt service I received made up for it. The atmosphere is awesome, a lot of good vibes. They give you a jug of water with lemon which I liked since it's so convenient to have at the table. I cannot speak more highly of this place. The Mexican food I ordered from the menu was a bit risky since I'm picky with authenticity but WOW. Even gave me a shot of lemon juice with Chile that tasted like sunshine in a shot glass. Just go. First I have eaten here before and would give it four-four and half ordinarily. Heck. Ordinarily I would not bother with a review of an icon like Wild eggs. Usually it is what it is. But today was different. Today Alinda was my server at the TV bar. And it cannot go unsaid that she made a fantastic difference in the meal. Every hiccup she covered and made up for. Every sense of what I wanted she knew and got it done. Result was the best Wild western omelette I have had at any Wild eggs. She got the kitchen to do it right with lots of peppers. She corrected every inquiry including why did they change the bread on the French toast. She found some of the former bread and had it prepared. She kept me informed as to meal progress or delays. Best server I have had in a long time. Alinda made Wild Eggs the Five star place it is supposed to be not just another chain outgrowing its roots. read more

Had the Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict, it was scrumdiliumpcious. Best breakfast I've had in a while. A blast of different flavors culminated together nicely, not a one over bearing. The hand browned potatoes were very delicious as well. All of the ingredients were fresh, flavorful, bright and presented very well in the dishes. Service was cheerful, attentive and knowledgeable. One word could sum this place up. Gross! We were traveling from IN to TN & stopped in for breakfast. We ordered French toast with a side of bacon & grits. The French toast was mush, very disgusting. The bacon was ok, the grits tasted scorched. The orange juice was good. After complaining about the food to what I assume was a manager we only got excuses! As did the 2 tables next too us! Came here for the first time and met Nicole. She was a wonderful waitress, very friendly and recommended great meals to try. I tried the Greek Frittata and ate it quicker than you could say potatoes, was very enjoyable though! The blueberry muffin was warm and fluffy. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!! Nothing was clean. I had to ask the waitress for new silverware 3 times Bc there was dried food on all of them! EW!!! And the table didn't seem like it was wiped down either. They had like 3 customers in while we were dining and it took about 30 min for us to get our food. When it came of corse there was dried old food (that was not mine) stuck to the plate. And after waiting that long, my scrambled eggs were so runny I couldn't even eat it. Hands down the BEST breakfast in bowling green. Everything is fresh and made to order. You can even make little custom meals. The menu is so fun and offers a little bit of everything. Their raspberry lemonade is so fresh its the best lemonade I've ever had. The interior is very modern and pretty. Its a great place to go. The environment is wonderful.
