The atmosphere is a bit like a cozy pub but for breakfast. The coffee options were vast so I had one with gingerbread and winter pairings. Yum! Their menu has many delicious options - I particularly liked their corned beef hash and the three salads - chicken, tuna, and egg. All the food was very fresh and tasty, and portion size was decent. Overrated nothing! Sal is kinda hard to mess up. They threw some strawberries on the top of spinach and very few candied pecans. The potatoes taste burnt and they were cold. Nothing special at all! My half-order of biscuits and gravy was not very good. The biscuit was hard (like a hockey puck) and the gravy tasted a little off. If it had been free I could have tolerated it more, but it cost $7. I wasted my money. I don't see what the rave is about this place. You pay way too much for this low quality food. I'm not coming back here again. Next time I'm going to Taco Bell. Today I arrived 8 am on a Tuesday - lots of space yet the host planned to seat me in a dark corner between the employee entrance and a tall trashcan. He kindly honored my request for a brighter spot in the nearly empty restaurant. Ordered the California sandwich. Fresh spinach was abundant! Nice scrambled folded egg well seated on the sandwich. The ciabatta was flavorless despite being coated in grill grease. The wisp of what was supposed to be herbed cream cheese tasted more like a lemon aioli. The only perceptible avocado was one chunk amounting to about one teaspoon. The potatoes were lukewarm and soggy. I planned to end my review here, but then I went to the restroom and to pay my bill! The walls around the women's bathroom sink could use a dedicated wipe down. Restaurant customers pay at the register - the same and only register where customers coming in for to-go orders, coffee orders, etc., are all serviced by the same frowning, sleepy cashier. The cashier also makes the coffee drinks and packages the pastries and cakes. She took customers coming in for coffee out of order, leaving me waiting. None of the servers or hosts were able to ring up my order on the only cash register. Extremely inefficient and inconvenient. While waiting to pay and having to ask someone if I could please pay for my meal, I observed piles of baked goods on the counter- reminiscent of Cracker Barrel. read more

My cousins and I decided to go out for brunch Saturday and we ended up at Rosie's. There is a parking lot and parking on the street, but be prepared to drive around a couple of times because it gets booked in there. We got there a little bit after 11 am and it was very packed inside, but our table of 6 seated immediately upstairs. Service was quick and our server was very nice and patient. As far as the food, it was unfortunately underwhelming. I ordered the cosmic mimosa, which was pretty with the edible glitter, but typical in flavor. The biscuits and gravy were barely warm and the biscuit itself was hard around the bottom's edge. The potatoes weren't crispy nor fresh which was an ultimate bummer when getting breakfast. The cinnamon roll was cold as well, and I wasn't expecting that. After I took it home and warmed it up, it was really good though. This restaurant is huge inside! Not what I was expecting! We were seated in a booth in the back and it was pretty chilly by the windows. I ordered a chai tea latte and it was so good. I decided to get the eggs with sausage and potatoes and chose rye toast. All their bread is homemade! My pancake I switched out to the brown sugar oatmeal one because I wanted to try it. So. Much. I visit Rosie's place often for their dessert and have been here a few times for brunch! Their desserts are amazing and fairly priced. We really like the coconut cake and my all time favorite are the cinnamon rolls. My favorite breakfast item is the breakfast burrito and my least favorite is the sausage patty (there's just no taste to it). Service can be really great and other times slow. I love their coffee! I had called a month in advance to make a reservation for a larger group for a meeting and was asked to call back twice--once a week before and again on the day of. I understood as they don't even take reservations and even was happy to do this, but I was surprised when the staff seemed a bit concerned and almost annoyed when we arrived. They still promptly set up a table upstairs for us in a knick of time! The restaurant was smaller than anticipated but that didn't seem to hinder the staff or patrons. We were able to have a private conversation and not be distracted due to the noise level. Being a first timer, I didn't understand you paid at the front and would've been nice to be told as our receipt and card laid on the table with staff walking by. Despite those minor inconveniences, the food was delicious, and our group thoroughly enjoyed it. They definitely get ya while waiting in line with all the yummy bakery items on display, The Gooey Butter Cookie had spectacular flavor and absolutely melts in your mouth. Went to Rosie's Place for Sunday breakfast. By the time we left at 11am the place was packed and folks were waiting outside. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito for $11.25. It is scrambled eggs, sausage, tomatoes, green peppers, onion, cheddar Jack cheese in a flour tortilla. It was served with salsa and country potatoes. It was very filling and I'd order it again. My wife got the Biscuits & Gravy for $8.95. It was 2 buttermilk biscuits with sausage gravy. Unfortunately, we would not order this again. The biscuits were hard and the gravy was just ok. Not enough sausage in my opinion and served warm. It's hard to get gravy hot to the table, and Rosie's had this issue. We had to eat it fast because cold gravy is not good. The bakery case had a lot of delicious looking baked goods. We got a few to take home and try. Service was good and food was served fast. A lot of people seem to like this place. Give it a try. It isn't one of our absolute favorites but our taste may be different from yours and we may not have found the "right" thing for us to order. The place is popular. read more

Rosie's has become my new favorite brunch place. I have been to the Noblesville location & decided to check out the Carmel location today. Carmel location seems much bigger with more seating which is nice. We came at 8:30 on a Sunday morning & were seated right away- there were plenty of open seats at this time. When we left about an hour later, a wait was starting to form. There's doesn't seem to be a ton of waiting area inside which would be a negative on a day like today when it was rainy and cold outside. Our server Ariana was super nice! I started with the chai tea latte which was delicious. I love that it's served in a nice, cozy mug. I went with the make your own omelette for my entree and I love that the omelette had tons of veggies in it. I got the gluten free toast that I feel like tastes just like normal bread. The potatoes are delicious as well. My husband ordered the fall veggie hash which was tasty as well. He also tried the gluten free pancakes which I felt like were too try and gluten free tasting but glad they had the option! Overall great experience & will be back here! read more
