Food was really good with big portion sizes, so definitely worth the price. We didn't have a long wait, and our waiter was very nice, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall a great experience and we'd definitely come back.

Loved the fresh strawberries and bacon. A little expensive for breakfast food and the restaurant could have been cleaner but the food was delicious.

The service was great and the food was good. First time trying sourdough pancakes and after the second one the taste was overwhelming, however, they melt in your mouth.

Friendly staff! Reliably good and simple breakfast every time. There are other, "more exciting" places to go, but The OPH will never disappoint.

Great food, superior service and a very comfortable atmosphere, I love all the windows and bright light. My daughter & I absolutely enjoy a Saturday morning dining at this location. I was expecting a long line, but we were pleasantly surprised that we walked right in. The coffee is delicious and I promise you the pancakes are delightful and moist bursting with flavor with the maple syrup added of course. They also have an amazing array of unique choices. My son loves the Strawberry pancakes!! I had the Sunrise. It's not listed on the new menu, but they'll still make it. Stop in and give it a try.

I am starting to see that many restaurants may have a healthier options section on their menu. I came across their 2x2 combo of 2 fluffy scrambled egg whites and 2 Perdue turkey links. It also came with my choice of wheat germ, buck wheat, or gluten-free pancakes OR a small banana bowl OR 3 tomato slices. I selected the banana; however, it was not as healthy as I had hoped - not organic. I know next time to order pancakes. I accepted marinara salsa for the eggs. I enjoyed my takeout entree.

! This place was a random pick for me and my wife. The entire experience was trash like the food. Do not order the potatoes cakes, I mean the fish potato cakes! They taste like a fish market smh! The service was literally 2/10! And the restaurant needs to be updated badly! I love mom and pop places that are warm and welcoming, but this was not warm nor pleasant to be at. Overall rating 2/10

Basic breakfast fare here. We got there at 11:30 on a Saturday and didn't have to wait for a table. Score! I'll be back to try some crepes. The coffee and potatoes were a bit pricey. 3.49 for a very tiny mug but free refills and it was good coffee. Potatoes were nicely seasoned but the tiny dish for an add on of 3.09 was a bit much. Strip mall parking. Quite a few other places to try in the same lot, including one of my new go to bubble tea shops! Check out Taylor's Bakery at the end of the strip on your way out.

The Original House remains one of my "original" breakfast favorites. We were seated immediately after we entered and were at a booth. Our sever, Claudia was awesome. I went with the Irish Omelette. Stuffed with corned beef hash and cheese, the Corn Beef in this dish is fire. It's definitely made in house and the eggs were light and fluffy. This could almost serve two people unless you're very hungry. They grilled the sourdough toast which made it the perfect a accompaniment to the omelette. With all the new breakfast/brunch places in Indy, Original House still holds its own.

The coffee is strong, fresh, and exactly what you need to start the day. The breakfast burrito is massive (seriously, it could feed an army), the pancakes are fluffy and melt-in-your-mouth good, and the hash browns are perfectly done. Everything came out quickly, thanks to Froy and Eduardo in the kitchen. I made sure to tell them how great the food was, and their big smiles said it all you can tell they genuinely care about both quality and service. There's plenty of parking, which is always a plus. If you're feeling a little lazy but still want a great breakfast, Mornings is the place. Go say hi to Andrea, Froy, and Eduardo, you'll be treated to a breakfast that feels like something your grandma made for you on a Sunday morning.

So...we ordered carryout (onlyb1 person had to get dressed...lol). Everything was packaged well in aluminum foil bowl with the plastic covers. There were 4 orders, but only 2 sets of plastic ware (just a note, not a reason for 4 stars not 5) The food was delicious. I shared my crispy potatoes with my cousin because they forgot hers (first reason for 4 stars not 5) with the order. My veggie omelette was light and fluffy. I added cheese, which was melted on top instead of being incorporated with the veggies (another reason for 4 stars not 5). The pancakes were good, too...light and fluffy. My cousins enjoyed their meals as well - one of the bowls (Portuguese, I think), steak and eggs, chilequilles. The only complaint was that it wasn't clear while ordering that the meat shown in the photo of the chilequilles was not included, so my cousin was disappointed when it was missing (3rd reason for 4 stars not 5). I definitely recommend this restaurant, just make sure to check your carryout order before leaving to make sure everything you expected was i there.

Well, we did not order much and split everything because we just weren't that hungry but definitely needed something to eat. This was a great first time visit. As you can imagine from all the other reviews, the ambience fantastic. This is part of the same hospitality, family group that owns Saint Elmo's. If I were more hungry, I definitely would've ordered more food. However, the first six pages of the menu are all alcoholic drinks and beverages, which is quite interesting. This part of the menu outnumbers the rest of the food pages. I would definitely come back here again and try more of the food however I'm giving them a solid for because the ambience the service and the food quality and timing were fantastic. The only problem with this place is that it is located in the popular nickel plate district, which is covered in saturated with restaurants and shops. And not enough parking options.

The gumbo was chocked full of seafood and the salad had the most delightful jalapeño vinaigrette. It usually comes with honey mustard but they were out. Happy mistake. That dressing was soooooo good! Honestly, I don't think I've ever enjoyed a salad dressing more. The only thing better than the food was the service. Sydney... "like Australia," as she introduced herself was attentive, personable, and made the experience memorable. I returned a few days later for Sunday brunch and ordered what I thought would be a larger salad. Unfortunately, it missed the mark - completely. There simply weren't enough greens to justify calling it a salad. On this visit, the service was noticeably slower. Our orders arrived at different times, some items were incorrect, and we were initially charged for things we didn't order. Thankfully, everything was addressed once we reviewed the bill. So, yeah.... We'll be back... ideally when Sydney is behind the bar! Give that girl a raise!
