We've been to Wild Ginger Asian Bistro several times now & it hasn't disappointed yet! They have very quick service for placing orders, paying, etc. Most of the times I've gone, it has been to get take-out, but we dined in once which was nice too. The food is always tasty and flavorful. They leave veggies crunchy in their entrees and everything seems to be freshly made to order. I've gotten several different items from their menu - cashew chicken, cashew shrimp, kung pao chicken, egg drop soup, sweet & sour soup, spring rolls, fried rice, crab puffs, & broccoli in garlic sauce. Everything has been good but my favs here are the egg drop, crab puffs, & kung pao chicken. The only item I wasn't overly thrilled with was the fried rice; you can get this dish a la carte or it also comes with their lunch entrees (I believe it is extra to upgrade from white rice to fried rice for dinner but don't quote me on that ... I usually just get white rice). Although we have other Chinese restaurants closer to where we live, I usually make the drive here since the food is always good! read more

This place is excellent. Hey happy with the food and the service. We order crispy chicken as an appetizer. I am not sure exactly what it was, but it was tasty. Had crispy chicken, cucumbers pepper, and a white thing around it. I got the yellow curry and fries rice. It was very hot, but it was good. My wife got the wild ginger chicken. I have been on the lookout for some good chow fun and I found it! This place is delicious. The staff greeted us promptly and seated us. They were attentive to our needs. The dishes are huge! My beef chow fun could for sure feed 2 people. I had plenty of leftovers for the next day and even reheated this was delicious. I also had edamame which was just as good. I am picky about my edamame. The only other place that I have found has it the way I like it is Sushi Brokers which is farther away from my home. So, I'm super glad I can now visit here and have it! I had the kung pao chicken and the lemongrass chicken dishes. The kung pao chicken tasted the same as I would normally find at other restaurants. Since I chose the kung pao chicken off of the lunch special menu, I had the option to have egg drop soup or hot and sour soup. I ended up choosing the hot and sour soup, which tasted good. I also had the option to choose between a soup or egg roll plus crab rangoon. They offered fried rice or steamed white rice. I tried the fried rice, but it was unlike anything I was expecting. Honestly, I thought it was going to be fried white rice with some scrambled egg in it along with spices or green onions. But, it turned out to be soy sauce rice with no scrambled egg pieces. I've never had this kind of fried rice before. The lemongrass chicken was interesting. The onions in the dish had the most lemongrass flavor. I think the chicken didn't have much lemongrass flavor to it. Also, the chicken in both the lemongrass dish and the kung pao dish was soft. Fish-texture soft. So....date night Friday, and last week we went to Tia Rosa located in the same complex (that's when we spotted Wild Ginger). After reading the reviews, we thought it was worth giving it a try. Surprised it wasn't very busy at 6:30 on a Friday, but not complaining! The service was quick and attentive, the food was hot and tasty, and brought out promptly. I just can't give it five stars because the door was good, but not great or memorable in any real way. Dishes called spicy, are quite tame. No real complaints, prices were on par. We have been to this place 5 times. Very clean and tasefully decorated. The food is good. We especially enoy the crab ragoons and orange chicken. I tried the orange tofu and it was OK, would have been better to add some vegetables to it. Last time we went our ice tea tasted terrible (we only drink unsweetened tea when we dine out). We thought it might have been the Tai Tea, we asked our waitress and was told it was just brewed and it was regular ice tea. What I do not appreciate - and it may be totally out of their control - is that the congregation of homeless druggies of the city are hunkered out mostly just outside and across their spot. The food is always excellent, service is good and we support a family run establishment. Today we had Shrimp Egg Foo Young and a order of Chicken Lettuce Wraps. All prepared correctly, very good. There may be restaurants that make one dish or another better than Wild Ginger. But, on the whole their food is consistently very good. We are both used to what I call New York style Chinese cooking. Wild Ginger has that down pat, with a strong fusion Bistro touch that has become a popular trend in the last 10 to 15 years. So grab a couple of friends and support these nice people. read more

The food is good, great spot to run and grab a quick lunch, however, dining in at lunch time there are a few things that I didn't quite enjoy: - blinds closed all the way no natural light at all, you almost forget it's the middle of the day. - menu offers the favorites, but things like fried rice are lacking not only in flavor but in all the additional veggies and things you normally get (even Panda Express offers a better fried rice) same with egg rolls. It's just a bunch of cabbage and the flavor of those isn't horrible but isn't exciting either. I ordered dinner for delivery tonight. I had the chicken with snow peas and carrots. It was really good! I liked their menu because there were multiple gluten free options for me to choose from. Chinese food was my favorite before I had to go gluten free and it's so hard to find a spot that does gf Chinese entrees really well. I just wish they had a gf cashew chicken ;). I also had the egg drop soup and it was AMAZING. My only complaint was I ordered white rice but they sent fried rice which I couldn't eat due to it having soy sauce with wheat in it.
