    Teriyaki Chicken & Katsu

Pretty good place, I would definitely try it again. I was shocked at the amount of seating this place had! The staff was kind and the restaurant looked clean. I ordered the Chicken Katsu and the Chicken Teriyaki. The customer in front of me ordered the same meal and said it was her go to meal every time she comes in. The katsu was nothing special but with sauce it was great! The portion size was insane because I got a small and it was a ton of food! So love that for me!

When attending an event at Revel Surf, a friend and I were wanting to eat something in the area. Seemed fitting to eat Hawaiian food after an evening at the beach. The staff were very friendly, but I noticed at 7:30pm they were out of quite a bit. We noticed no beef option, and other outages. Though we may have ordered differently than intended, the food we did get was pretty tasty! Love the spicy teriyaki and sriracha available at the condiment station. There is a location near my workplace, so I knew this place was pretty good. The store has a beautiful mural on the wall, and lots of seating on either side of the order counter. Pretty comfortable for a quick service location, and I'd return again.

Fast lunch poke bowl style pick the size , brown or white rice, choice of meat and side. Service was great. Plenty of seating.

First time here, no real expectations. Ordered the bowl with two scoops of brown rice, and two meats. I selected the teriyaki chicken and pork with a spicy sauce. Flavors were great, pork was tender and the chicken was tasty. Service was good and place was clean. Prices were very reasonable for the area. Nice enclave of restaurants here

Pretty decent choice, if you're in the mood for some quick eats in this area. First, it's very exciting to see this part of the area growing rapidly. When I saw Moku Hawaiian Grill come up on Yelp, I had to give them a try. They're set up build-your-bowl style with options of sides, meats, and toppings. It's a pretty quick in and out process if you're in a hurry (assuming there's not a long line, of course). When I had gone in, it wasn't super busy yet so I decided on a Large Plate which came with 2 scoops of rice, 3 meats, and 2 sides. I got one scoop of white rice & then substituted one scoop for a side salad. For the meat options, I got the Teriyaki Chicken, Mochiko Chicken, and Pulehu Chicken. And for my sides, I went with two scoops of mac salad. I expected to like the mac salad the best, and I did indeed like that the most, followed by the Pulehu Chicken. Overall, a good choice if you're in the area. They have indoor seating but it seemed like most people were taking everything to-go.

Hawaiian Style poké, Chicken Katsu, Teri Chicken, Mac salad, Kim chee slaw and of course rice complimented by one big Shaka!!!!

Great food, amazing service, and Hawaii's music playing in the background, now you got Revel Surf across the way it's certainly not home, but a homemade beach with ocean like waves. Man! It's like home, in the water and all you smell is the BBQ Chicken on da grill. Takes me way back to my kid days....LOL Anyway, Moku's never disappoints. If you know, you know. If you don't know, you better go find out! LOL

The end of my meal. Large serving sizes and great price

I was really looking forward to this place since I love Hawaiian food and this place is really close to my house. Staff was pretty friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the food fell short. Out of three meats and two sides for the large plate there were only one of each that was good. The katsu I got no sauces were offered had to ask and it tasted like ketchup. But thebjatsu was pretty moist compared to the other meats. The chickens were way over cooked and dry but atleast one of them had good flavor. The sweet corn isn't sweet, it tasted more like your average canned corn. The garlic edamame was good. Whatever large plate my friend ordered with a premium meat, he was was disappointed too, said his was just as dry, lacked flavor and we both got different meats. Place was clean though. My friend and I most likely won't be visiting again though unfortunately. We were not impressed at all. But wish them the best. I know business has been hard in that plaza.

Husband & I stopped here for lunch Sat 6/21/25. Staff was friendly & place was very clean. I had a Salad bowl with Pork & hot corn. Hubby had Regular bowl with Pulehu & Katsu Chicken with brown rice, macaroni salad & Kimchi slaw. Portions were generous & food was fresh (except corn which i think came from a can). Hubby was also very happy they have Hawaiian Sun drinks. He said the Pulehu chicken, Macaroni salad & Kimchi slaw were all excellent. However, I didn't like either of their 2 dressing choices. Plus, their Katsu sauce tasted like Ketchup with just a little brown sugar added to it. With 3-4 other Hawaiian options in the area, I'd recommend they NEED to improve their dressings & sauces. (I didn't try the teriyaki sauce recommended by others).

Portion was super generous and all the protein choices tasted amazing! Service was quick and they even gave us some testers bcz all the options look too good for me to choose. It's a small shop but it's nice and clean.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. I ordered a kids meal which was plenty. I got the ahi tuna with rice and kimchi slaw. I added on a side portion of the chicken katsu. I got the spicy tuna however it did not taste anything close to spicy. The kimchi slaw was refreshing and tasty. The katsu chicken was ok-it had an oily taste to it but over all not bad. Since it's still in the soft opening stages, the restaurant noted some items are not available. Staff were great and inviting. I'd come back again with my husband to try the teriyaki chicken.

Pretty cool "Chipotle" style concept. I wouldn't consider it authentic, but it definitely hit the spot. I would skip the kalua pork that's missing cabbage and the strange kimchi salad that's made like coleslaw? :( Poke was surprisingly good! Great quick service.

Reminds me of an elevated L&L. I pretty much only want to get Chicken Katsu because I can never…read morereplicate it from a restaurant. When I tried this place, we got a mini katsu and a plate. We were able to replace the sides with more rice at no extra charge for the plate which was really nice. Honestly, it was way too much rice, so next time I'd just omit the sides altogether if I was to reorder this. The mini katsu was more than enough as well. Each piece was perfectly crispy. I loved the steamed veggies. They were unseasoned and balanced out the katsu very well. Worth the price (which was very accurate to the meal and the quality).

The chicken was really good and cooked pretty much perfectly. It doesn't have that "char" to it that Hawaiian's cook it like (if you know, you know), but it was cooked almost perfectly imo. The rice wasn't a true Hawaiian sticky rice, but close enough. It almost had more of an Asian texture to it. But it was still good. There was a lot of food, of which I'd expect from a Hawaiian spot. The teriyaki sauce was pretty tasty. It wasn't the best teriyaki sauce I've ever had, but it's a lot better than Ono's Hawaiian BBQ (their chicken teriyaki is trash!). The service was good and fast! The inside was clean and tidy. Was it the best I've ever had? No. But it's good enough to share it with my friends, invite them to go, and go back myself. I'll need to try the chicken katsu and bbq short ribs next time.

I just remember we were seated at the tables toward the right side and it was hot. I decided to give it another try and also wanted cold noodles again after eating it on my recent LA trip. Now I'm on the hunt for the place with the best kimchi cold noodles in AZ (on the east side). I ordered the Radish Neang Myun while my family shared the Lettuce wrap w/ spicy pork, Galbi and Kimchi pancake. The Lettuce wrap combo also came with soy bean stew. The Radish Neang Myun was refreshing on a hot day. I prefer mine with a more spicy kimchi flavor. I added in some from the banchan with lots of vinegar and some hot mustard. My family liked the lettuce wrap and meats but my mom said the soybean paste stew was salty. Wish they offered kimchi stew instead of soybean paste stew, or give the option to choose one or the other. I tried a piece of the kimchi pancake and felt it needed more kimchi flavor and some scallions to add some color to it. The spicy citrus soy sauce it came with wasn't spicy at all. It just tasted like soy sauce. A sweet and salty sauce would taste good with it. Also, it needs a bigger sauce. That thing was tiny! Our server was great! I can't remember his name but he was attentive and checked on us often
