Very nice ambience. Sushi was average. Got the hibachi mixed grill which was also average. Shrimp was overcooked. Not a terrible choice, just not outstanding. It was walking distance from our Airbnb.

The decor of the restaurant is wonderful and the service is great. The food is ho hum though. I have tried Wild Ginger a few times and every time it has been lack luster. It was this last visit that sealed my vote of absolutely never going there again. When I ordered the Crab Louis Salad, I was actually expecting (hoping really) that they would use real crab, not Krab. I mean, the menu did say fresh crab meat and for $12 for a salad....I pulled the trigger. What I received was fake crab with some avocado and a slice of tomato. Hmmm.... the waiter was very kind and took the counterfeit crustacean off of the bill. I also ordered a spicy tuna roll. It was good, but Winco pulls off a good one too. Jus sayin.

Staff wrongly said this dish doesn't come with meat so the cook served half the dish- they still charged me full price

I keep getting my to-go orders wrong here :( I got the Basil Eggplant and the gal said it didn't come with meat... I thought it did but was driving. The portion was half what it normally is for their stir fry dishes. I checked the menu and it's $15 with the choice of meat. Last time I asked for no green bell pepper and the entire dish was half green bell peppers. They don't offer refunds and last time the manager made me feel guilty for complaining except I don't eat green peppers and it was seriously half the dish. I called and they always offer to have me come in for their mistakes. After driving home and spiriting down to eat after 13 hours working as a nurse on my feet, no I didn't want to drive back a t 9:45. The waitress says "what do you want us to do about it?" Same thing they said when she messed up my order the last time so they must be trained to offer that kind of customer service. I asked her what would you like done if it happened to you? She said she didn't know. Then she took down my number for a manager to call me back to offer me a refund on a card and they never it's been two days. I called again and was made fun of by one person, passed to another who said if I want something done I can come in and talk to a manager during business hours. $17 for a cup of veggies. Not my idea of a good business with respectable customer service. If you make an error, please own it and stand up for the good quality you say you have. Or just serve whatever you want and make fun of customers who report the errors and lose customers. It's sad businesses operate like this.

Great apps--the hoisin chicken flatbread was brilliant. And the pasta of the night was awesome, rich sauce, sugar snap peas, chicken. Bombs of taste and very filling. The steak wedge salad was fresh, crisp, and prepared totally right. It was a crazed Friday night but our server hung in there and did a fine job.

We started with the octopus appetizer and a gluten-free pita. The pita seemed more like a basic gluten-free pizza crust than traditional pita, but that was a minor point because the muhammara was excellent and the pita/crust worked really well with the octopus. They also did a good job accommodating gluten-free needs throughout the meal, via a dedicated gluten-free menu. For dinner, I had the stuffed pork chop, which had a somewhat Greek-inspired preparation. It was served over orzo and stuffed with feta and olives. Really flavorful, well executed, and a more interesting preparation than the typical pork chop. My wife had the duck and enjoyed it as well. We paired dinner with a bottle of Nebbiolo. Their overall wine selection was solid. The atmosphere was comfortable and polished without being overly formal, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Good food, interesting menu, nice atmosphere, and strong service.

We enjoyed the compote and were very satisfied with the starter. I got the fancy French toast with the andouille sausage and eggs. The French toast was really good. You could taste the vanilla. And sausage and eggs were exactly what you would expect them to eat. My partner got the garden ravioli and it was OK- probably would not order it again: all of the vegetables were blended in. The iced tea was good and fresh. Wheelchair accessibility: there was very limited accessible parking at this restaurant. And the ramp was quite long, but it was there. The front door was heavy and the bathroom door was also heavy, but not undoable. The rest of the bathroom was fine

Ok, so, we started with crab cakes and oysters. The oysters were East Coast oysters and I'm from NY, so I had to get them. I haven't had raw oysters in over 20 years, and these did not disappoint! They were so delicious, I ordered 4 more, but they only had one more of the one I wanted, and I happily took it. The crab cakes were good, too. So maybe we should have quit while were ahead.... It took an hour to get our meals, and when we did, I was unimpressed. Mine was slopped onto the plate, with mashed potatoes smeared on the side and the sauce dripped on sides of the inside of the rimmed plate. The potatoes looked congealed, like they had been sitting out, and they had, because the food was cold. I asked for it to be heated up, and I'm fairly convinced they microwaved it, because the plate was warm, but the food still wasn't. The steak was extremely salty, potatoes gluely, and the broccolini was bitter and woefully under seasoned. My husband offered to switch plates. He has the pasta, which was also not very good, but at least it was hot. The description said andouille sausage, but it was clearly kielbasa, and the sauce was greasy and separated. Who hired these so-called chefs? Where did they get their degree? Do they even have one? We go out to eat so rarely. I'm a fantastic cook myself, so when we go out, we want the food we order to be better than what I can make at home. Especially at $30 a plate. So, alas, they get 2 stars, for the excellent service, the delicious oysters, and the beautiful ambiance. They apologized profusely and took my horrible dinner off our bill. We are so grateful for that. We will be back for a pretzel. And more oysters.
