I love crab Ragoon and no matter where I go I always want to try. I just purchased from Wild Ginger and I am very unhappy. The wonton wrapper is under cooked. The crab filling, I should say what Crab filling. I'm very unhappy with the eight tiny pieces that I received for six dollars....

Very nice and clean restaurant, run by what seems to be a cute asian couple. Not a large selection, but everything that is in the buffet is tasty, unlike the many large "supreme" buffets. Soups are especially tasty, salad is fresh, food not too spicy, just right! Service is quick and helpful. Highly recommended!

General Tso Bean Curd, soggy, not fried crispy like I asked.

Was having a gathering nearby we decided to order food for pick up here. I ordered a general tso's bean curd, specifically asked if they could fry the tofu crispy bcuz I don't like soggy tofu. The woman taking the order said yes. Before hanging up the phone she repeated our order and said "tofu fried crispy". My friend gets back with the food. The tofu is sliced in huge chunks....SLABS if you will and soggy!!! The breading falling off as I attempted to it eat. I paid too much to not get what I asked for.

Ordered the vegetable dumplings. They were made fresh but were a little bland. Ordered online and was ready in about 10 minutes.

The Rose - Chef's Special Chili Chicken with Bone in Gravy Sauce

For a few years, I've been curious about how the food was here at The Rose. Unfortunately, with no…read moretakeout available until fairly recently, I hadn't bothered to venture here. But with that said, my girl wanted some Indo Chinese.... so we made the trip here to see whether it's worth a second visit. Now, to be clear: the Rose is a Pan Asian Cuisine. So it's not necessarily just Indo Chinese, but it also encompasses flavors from all the other countries too. We ended up ordering 3 items in the following order: 1a: Gobi Manchurian 1b: Smoked Vegetable Sizzler 2: Mushroom Sautéed in Ginger Garlic We ordered the first two together and those arrived relatively quickly. The Gobi Manchurian was the better of the two, but I wonder if it was a bit too overpowered with spice and less of the sweet and sour taste (or even the soy sauce). The spice was a bit too overbearing. The sizzler was fine, but it was mostly onions and peppers. The tofu - while cooked fine - surprised me because it was like the silky ma po tofu (which coincidentally is what they serve here). In other words, the same tofu is repeated across multiple meals. I think the tofu needed to be pan fried at least for a sizzler. Because of the above, we didn't feel full and thought that the mushroom would provide a different taste pallet. Unfortunately, that was a miss as the mushroom had the same taste as the gobi manchurian, when it should've been infused with the ginger garlic. Additionally, the mushroom was way too overcooked so you couldn't even taste them either. It was like a crunchy mushroom. No good. To make things worse, the waiter, who also manned the front desk, seemed a bit too aloof at times. Often that meant not refilling water unless prompted and not providing the check on time or not even setting up the tables properly with silverware. It was a bit disappointing. This place has the potential, especially with the cute decor. But failed execution with the food and some lackluster service do not make this a place I'd recommend in the future.

We were seated very quickly, thankfully, and the ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and elevated. The menu looked fantastic at first glance so we were excited, and our expectations were exceeded. We shared the Veg Bao, Chili Paneer, Hakka Noodles, and Veg Manchurian with gravy (served with rice). All dishes were sooo so delicious - perfect level of spice, lots of garlic and onion flavor, huge portions. The parents were trying to figure out what to order, and asked our server for recommendations - he suggested something called the "Triple Schezuan" which was a combination of rice, noodles, spicy sauce, manchurian pieces, and more. They RAVED about this dish - the portion was also massive! Service was wonderfully attentive and best of all they don't use any cilantro in their food! Hallelujah! Highly recommend this underrated spot.

Beyond the appetizer, the restaurant offered a warm atmosphere and attentive service that made the dining experience even better. When it comes to food, I never judge a burger by its bun, so thanks to Yelp for helping me find it. The sign in the window says "Asian fusion" which usually sends me running as it's often a cop-out label for bad mixed-up Asian cooking, but this is authentic y'all, meaning true-to-tradition dishes with a sometimes more contemporary application of ingredients or flavors. The "fusion" part must come from the fact that they have a small Taiwanese section as well as the main Szechuan/Sichuan menu, alongside a few familiar Chinese-American favorites like sesame chicken or broccoli x protein, so you can get that here too. Everything we ordered was phenomenal! Great flavors, generous portions, cooked with confidence and finesse. Compliments to the kitchen - they really know what they're doing. Not a single dish was lacking. They even put out peanuts at the start and serve fresh orange slices at the end of the meal. Very old school. We loved it all: * Salt & white pepper crispy chicken ("Taiwanese specialty") - well-battered and flavored, and perfectly crispy * Taiwanese minced pork rice * Chicken red curry - fabulous, with fresh vegetables and just the right balance of spice * Golden dish (fish) - very special dish in a salted duck egg yolk batter * Beef chow fun * Marinated crispy duck Wish I lived closer, but will definitely come back when we are in the area. Best of the best - very highly recommended!

Most dishes also range below $20 so it's super affordable for the amount of food you're getting for New Jersey. I would say that if you were a smaller eater, you can make this two meals. If you're a college student also it is so close to the Rutgers university campus. I remember a lot of people mentioning four seasons when I was a student at Rutgers. Lots of people order takeout, and they constantly had people pick up food. I'm sure some of that was the students. It had a very large menu of different Thai foods. I will say that I go very basic with Thai usually going for the pad see ew or pad Thai. They had a lot more on the menu and they also had different stars around the most popular menu items. They also have classic Thai tea if you wanted to get a drink. You had the option also to pick your spiciness level and I will say that I picked mild and it was on the spicier side so they do not play around. If you can't handle spice, don't get any spice at all! You can also pick the protein that you want with options like beef, chicken, and tofu. I will say the pad see ew very delicious, but it also wasn't necessary the best pad see ew I've ever had. Still, though with the price and the reliability of the place, it is un beatable. Service was fast. Also, it was self seating and also self paying. At the end of our time at the restaurant we waited a little bit longer because we didn't realize that we had to pay up at the counter. They had around 40 people worth of seating. The interior is a more cozy lived in wooden designed space. I wouldn't say that the interior was anything that was remarkably special, meaning the food was just made selling point.
