Steak and cheese sub Filled with meat and cheese! Fries were hot and got Dang delicious!!!!
Jodie C.

It's been quite a long while since I've been to Molly's. Today my daughter and I had a great lunch. Sheet pan nachos and we split a steak and cheese sub with fries. Nachos were A+. Toppings were plentiful and on every chip. Jalapeños were on point! I'm picky about steak and cheese subs but I agreed to a split plate. Oh man....it was full of meat and cheese. Super good and the fries were actually some if the best fries ever Well seasoned and came out sizzlin' hot. Dipping in ranch. A hit outta the park!!!

Overcooked burger!!

Order a hamburger med and get this. Cooks paying attention to order details is clearly a thing of the past unless you're at a high scale restaurant! Quality and service sucks most everywhere! What the heck???? A simple burger order. Christ!!!

Nice clean bar area

This is the best Irish pub I could find in the area, the food is amazing, the service is fast and friendly and the bar is old school, which is fitting for an Irish pub.

Great service, got an outside table without following the instructions to check in at bar thanks to the waitress clearing the table. Onion rings and the first round of drinks arrived quickly. Sandwiches followed as soon as the last onion ring went down. It was a beautiful Saturday evening with Main Street blocked off to traffic.

As you can see I last visited here pre-COVID for fun day Sunday. Since it was Sunday today my family and I decided to return here again for the first time post-COVID for lunch. Unfortunately, they no longer offered their fun day Sunday service. I was disappointed. I started with and enjoyed their spicy margarita with lunazul blanco, muddled with lime, sour and jalapenos for $9. Molly recommended their tender beef Guinness Irish Stew with carrots, onions and fresh herbs over mash for $14. I was disappointed because the beef was far from tender. The beef was over cooked, tough and chewy. I had to cut the large chunks of beef in half to eat them. I would not recommend this meal. I ended my meal with my favorite draft Guinness for $7. Molly C. served our table well. My total bill was $71 less gratuities. There are so many other better restaurants in downtown Warrenton, which I would recommend over this place. I will likely not return here to eat, however, I may return for a draft Guinness.

My favorite place to eat. My son loves their food and he's a picky eater. The back is more family oriented. People are always friendly.

The staff is friendly and helpful, the ambiance peaceful. We enjoyed our brunch. It was a taste of what Fauquier used to be; rural, pleasant, with quiet quality. Well worth visiting for the food, the ambiance, and a slice of rural Virginia minutes from hectic route 29.

But by the time we left, the outdoor seating was almost packed, so be safe and make reservations, if you can. The menu is amazing, so many options that all looked appetizing. I can say that everything we got was nicely made and tasted great! Their burger is definitely really good, you can taste the freshness of the locally raised beef. The bun and everything about it was really nicely done. Right now, they have a seasonal starter of pumpkin beignets which we got... they didn't resemble the form, nor texture of any beignets we've ever gotten, but they sure did taste really good! (We did have to wait quite a while for plates from our server so we could share them though) Their onion rings and fries are both amazing. The dip that comes with the onion rings is so very tasty! Sitting outside is beautiful, right on the pond and they have heaters to help take the cool off when it's chilly. We'll definitely return!

Our waitress brought over menus and asked for drink orders shortly thereafter, and also filled us in on their monthly specials. After taking a look at the menu, their wraps caught my eye. I ended up going for the Southwest chicken wrap, which came with grilled chicken tossed in buffalo ranch sauce, lettuce, and tomato. It was absolutely delicious. The wraps come with a side, so I went with the homemade coleslaw. My friend got the buffalo chicken wrap (made with chicken tenders) and that was also very good. Overall, great food and service. The only thing I didn't like was that there a ton of flies outside. I wish they had one of those UV light bug traps so clients could eat in peace.

While celebrating a special birthday we made reservations for a birthday dinner here. I will admit…read morethat I was slightly worried after reading so many negative comments. My interpretation of the gist of what everyone was complaining about was that they used to come here all the time (as did I years ago, but it's been a year since being here) and they didn't like the new, slimmed down menu... and they definitely hated the prices here now. Our service was ok, nothing special. I feel like the majority of the servers are very young and might not have the training, nor experience to understand what true service is, not just taking orders and bringing food. The menu was nice. We liked their "Everyday is Sunday" section of the menu, so we tried 2 orders (4 persons) of the pork chop tomahawk and 1 order (2 persons) of the Côte de Boeuf. We started with their Scotch Egg - WOW! Really flavorful with a great texture, inside and out. Definitely a very nice way to start. Cocktails and wine were a hit here for sure! Especially Jarad's G&T, which we got a couple of. Main dishes were great! Plenty of food too!! The spices on the crust of the porkchop tomahawk were so tasty and the temperature was spot-on! The steak in the Côte de Boeuf was incredible! Perfectly seasoned and at that absolute perfect temperature too! The carrots that came with this were very nicely done, but the potatoes stole the show! This dish came with OUTSTANDING Fondant potatoes... They had a great, smokey flavor to them, as if they were basted in pork fat. The meat was perfectly textured and flavored. Overall - While this is no longer the Hunter's Head that many came to know, love, and enjoy, I feel they're doing a decent job here. I'll definitely return, as I want to try their fish & chips!
