Uh, no. Way too expensive for the quality. Wild River tries to do the whole "NW Crust" thing, but they fail miserably at it. For those of you familiar with said crust, you know that it shouldn't be bone dry on the inside. I mean dust-dry. So bad. I had a mini and it was so over cooked the middle of the pizza looked just like the edge--brown and cheeseless. Why my hubby's medium was nice and cheesy in the center and mine wasn't is a mystery. I suspect they cook all the pizzas the same amount of time, regardless of size. Yuck. The meat was good (Taylor's), but that's it. True wood fired pizza in a pub style restaurant. I've eaten here a few times during my travels to Grants Pass and have always had good pizza. The staff has mostly been attentive and pleasant, but service could be improved. A criticism is they could do a bit better with food handling procedures. My server held the beers by the rim with her not so clean hands, and I watched another server use her hand to slide a finished pizza onto the tray. I think it might help if they added a few more wood fire pizza options because there are only 9 listed as "pub favorites." They have plenty of great toppings to choose from if you want to create your own, but I like to have lots of options suggested by the establishment. The food is good. The staff, for the most part is nice. However, my latest experience, the waiter(Justin) actually scoffed when I had to order GF. He then proceeded to tell me that because they were busy, I couldn't order the item I wanted. We ended up with a different wait person, who was much nicer. read more

This had to have been the worst experience at dining at the Brew Pub!!! We had some friends visiting from out of town and thought this would be a great place to take them!!! Awful from start to finish. Our waitress barely gave us any attention. It wasn't busy but it took forever to get menu's and drinks. We ordered spuds and she basically threw them on the table and walked away. We asked if we could get some ranch....she gave us a big sigh...got us ranch...then we asked for napkins...another sigh....I'm not sure why we kept saying Thank you...we weren't being needy. Our friends arrived..took her awhile to come over and take their drink order. We then were ready to order food. Three of us order soup then a fish and chips and sandwich....big mistake She came back over and said NOW YOUR REALLY GONNA HATE ME...we only have one cup of soups so who wants it....just a bitchy statement....then the food was awful...Fish and chips not even edible.....Overall awful. As we were pulling into Grants Pass after a beautiful ride up US Highway 199 we checked in on Yelp to find a good place for a brew and something to eat and we saw this is very interesting place called Wild River brewery and pizza and decided to stop in and give it a look. We were greeted by Andrea and she started to inform us about the brewery and the different Ale's that were on tap. Originally we were seated at a table but when Andrea offered us a sampler to test the different brews on tap. When we ordered our individual pizzas we met Jordyn who was preparing the pizzas and she told us about the oven which was heated with wood, not gas. Also we learned that if your wearing a pub t-shirt you get a dollar off each pint you purchase. Cool huh. They have a variety of themes on the pint glasses so we had to buy at least 2. Lol. We liked then all! If you're ever in Grants Pass you'll be making a mistake if you don't stop into the Wild River pub and check them out. Once again, thanks to Andrea and Jordyn for making our first visit a lasting memory. read more

Worst restaurant in Grants Pass. Miranda was the worst server I have ever had in my history of eating out. She knew nothing of the menu or beer selection.... And she works at a brewery? Everything is salty, even the pizza. Portions are humungus. Ordered fish & chips, had to send back. Waited for a tasteless frozen hamburger patty on a dry, almost stale bun. We were met there from a young man with a cast and a huge smile!! we were set promptly and was greeted by Jess our very friendly server!! my husband and son had the Beer sampler I don't drink Beer so i wanted to order a craft of white zinfandel but they were out and was suggested another wine but they were out of it also so I got water. We checked out Wild River Brewing while on our voyage back to Sacramento from Portland. This was an excellent choice! It was a bit off the freeway- but worth it. The ambiance was definitely nothing to be desired- but their food and beverages were excellent! They have a child's menu as well, reasonable. I ordered their Clam Chowder which was creamy and chunky- and their salad dressings are all house made!!! Their pizzas are personal sized and didn't not disappoint. Unfortunately we didn't get to try the beer., but the home made Root Beer was tasty. We would return if ever in the are again- Just don't turn away from their empty lot, or one way street. read more

Disclaimer: Part of my price listed was adding a 'calzone rustica' for a friend, so overall bill was roughly $14 more. I'd been to the Medford location before, so when I was in the area for the Josephine County Fair, I thought I'd check this one out too. It's certainly as big- if not bigger- as the other location, but that could've seemed so because of the split level seating. The service was pleasant & waitstaff was quite knowledgeable & helpful. Their 'home-brewed' root beer was fantastic- reminded me of a cross between Barq's & Sarsaparilla, my kind of drink ^_^ The coconut shrimp was wonderful! So sweet, so crunchy, so full of coconut that the flavor really POPPED! And the sweet chili sauce really brought out the shrimp, too. Their pasta alfredo was amazing! Creamy, garlicy, rich- everything you'd ever expect in a dish so simple. The bread that came with it was... OK, but not the greatest- could've stood to be both warm & crispy, but now I'm just being technical. For dessert, my server recommended I try their blackberry cobbler ala mode. Oh man... it was light & rich at the same time! Hot cold, creamy & fruity- & the cobbler layer on top was like a cross between a biscuit & a snickerdoodle- a biscuit-doodle lol. So good. Great beer. IPA two thumbs up. Brown ale, wonderfully tasting at 4%! And they make real root beer the fermented natural way. Get a growler and expect to run out really fast. The food is good, not exceptional, but come here for the beer. They have a wonderful tasting platter and they will mix and match cases for you. All their beers are well crafted. The summer saison was wonderful but they don't always have it. :( read more

Do not eat here thay do not care about the customer. Thay put onion soaked in vinegar on my hamburger. With out asking me if I was allergic or if i wanted that put on. And then when I confronted them about it thay sead that's how we do it and hung up on me. And because I was pissed when I called back to inform them of the manger hanging up on me thay wolud not make it right. After Eric had allrdy told me he would give me a gift card for my hamburger. I will be contacting the owner about this. Even if someone is pissed and swears a little the customer is always right and you either cook the food the way they want it or refund their money. read more
