We came here around 6:30 PM and the wait was about 45 minutes for a table of four. Luckily the weather was perfect, so we chose to sit outside. I ordered a couple of dishes I had never tried before, including a steak and chicken crusted with pistachios. The bison steak was especially memorable. The herb butter on top was incredibly delicious and added so much flavor. The food did seem to take some time to come out. The kids ordered the beef sliders and absolutely loved them. We actually had to order a second round because they disappeared so quickly. Everyone working here was friendly and welcoming, and parking was very easy, which is always a plus. Concierge at my hotel recommended Wild Thyme Cafe, so we headed there after our hike to check it out. The restaurant is located away from other businesses, so the dim outdoor lighting made the ambiance more appealing. Outdoor seating-on the porch or in the grass was available, we opted for the outside porch. There is inside seating too. Free parking here. I was pleased with the service, as we were seated right away, with 30 minutes to closing. Staff was attentive and courteous. Food was average as we enjoyed the Curry Bowl, more than the angel hair pasta with chicken pistachio (see my pics). The service was bad and the food was worse. The only positive about this place was the outdoor eating area. The food took about an hour which I guess is normal for a "resort" area, but the trout tasted spoiled and the ribs were dry as the Zion desert. Our server looked confused and was all over the place. Would've made more sense to have the servers concentrate in a certain area as opposed to some inside tables while working some outside tables. Overall, a really poor experience. Don't ever get the fish. read more

This was our favorite place that we ate at in the Zion National Park area the few days we were there. We had been overall pretty disappointed in the food, and we were hoping this place would be different. We were pleasantly surprised! It was a little bit of a wait, but the area around the locale is very cute and rustic farm peaceful, so we didn't mind. For our meals, we got the pistachio chicken and the curry. The chicken was unique and enjoyable. The curry was my husband's choice, and while I would not have opted for a curry in this restaurant, it was better than I expected. Really great lunch spot maybe just 3-4 miles away from the Zion park entrance. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and high chairs for the little ones. They had a few great options on the kids menu and it was so sweet of the staff to give the kids some silly string type toys to keep them preoccupied. I didn't try the libations but others in my party said they were delicious. I enjoyed my ultimate grilled cheese which contained so much pulled pork it hardly resembled a grilled cheese! The smashed home style potatoes with lots of thyme was also tasty but I couldn't eat it all because of the huge amount of salt that made me thirsty. The view was amazing and the hostess went out of her way to give our baby cherries that she wanted. But that was about where the positives ended. The Thyme pasta was supposed to be angel hair pasta but it was so soggy that the noodle was fat, breaking apart. The rest of food we ordered was so bland and average. To top it off the server charged us 20% gratuity when we were 2 adults and 1 baby. There was no signage about auto gratuity so we were not informed prior. He didn't fill up our water or ever came by to ask if everything was ok. I would never visit this place unless you want terrible service, terrible food and auto gratuity. read more

Clearly has a reputation because the place was busy! And a well-deserved reputation, it turns out. Food was very good, I went with the cowboy babyback ribs, and someone ordered a ribeye which was delicious. The smashed potatoes were pretty good but next time I might opt for mashed; smashed often turn out a little dry for my taste. Drinks were excellent. Dessert menu looked fantastic but we passed; the portions were massive! Finally, the waiter was a genial big guy who was very warm and conversational. No wonder people love this joint! One of the best restaurants otw and near Zion. I usually do not order chicken at restaurants, but the pistachio-crusted chicken was a standout and absolutely worth it... it did not disappoint! The chicken was juicy and tender with a perfectly crisp pistachio crust, and the sauce complemented it beautifully. The potatoes were also deliciously crispy. Ribeye was great and perfectly seasoned and cooked too! The restaurant is pet-friendly and has outdoor heaters, which was a huge plus during the cold. Our waitress was incredibly kind and even brought my doggo some bacon! We were even contemplating going again the next night but ended up trying something new. Sooo ... everyone knows Springdale has become very touristy (trappy), right - it's pretty awful with stupid high prices for mediocre hotels, huge crowds of wandering souls - and this is not high season. This place is great! We liked the reviews and their menu so thought we'd give it a try. We started with a small house salad and a glass of Chardonnay and a glass of Malbec. My wife had the pasta with shrimp. It was seasoned perfectly and was plenty. I ordered the Bison Ribeye, medium rare. It came with roasted smashed potato's and Asperagus. My steak was cooked perfectly, with a delicious Demi glaze sauce and herb butter. It was excellent! We finished with their seasonal crumble, which happened to currently be Peach. My husband and I stopped by here for a treat after hiking around Zion, and it did not disappoint!! They have amazing cocktail & mocktail selections. When we first got sat, we smelt the most delicious smell (our server told us they were baking a fresh batch of cake)... so of course we had to indulge. This is a gem! The pistachio chicken I got is sooo memorable and the Mediterranean wrap that my fiancé got was light and healthy while being yummy as well. The location is lovely, as it has mountain and orchard views. Definitely sit outside if you can! They have misters to keep you cool. The service was fast and friendly, and they happily let us sit outside per our request. We did not have a reservation and just showed up as we were road tripping and needed a place to eat. Food overall was decent. It's not a big hitter, but they do have some highlights. We ordered the Mediterranean salad and black bean sliders for starters. Then the salmon and yellow curry for dinner. The death by chocolate for dessert. I would say the apps were the best, the black bean sliders were pretty impressive. The salmon was pretty mediocre and yellow curry was honestly not great, very sweet like it was out of a can. The death by chocolate just felt like a bunch of chocolate items thrown together for an explosion of overly sugary dessert. The service was also extremely slow, but the waiter was very hospitable and attentive which made up for that. Ambiance is also outside in a lovely green lawn, as well as indoors. WOWWWWW what a fantastic restaurant! After a wonderful day of driving around Zion, we stopped here for lunch/dinner at about 330pm. The service was excellent. We were waited on right away and our server, Shalen (sp?), answered questions. Three of us had the "cliffhanger" chicken sandwich. My brother-in-law who was never one for talking about food, said it was the best chicken sandwich he ever had in his life. I can't tell you what high praise that is. Came here about an hour before closing on a Thursday. The outside eating area (grass patch garden) was nice to sit and watch the night sky. Staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations. We got the elk burger and wagyu burger. Both dishes comes with smashed roasted potatoes and a pickle. I also got the canyon cooler drink (a bunch of things but peach puree, pina colada,sprite, pineapple juice and more). The burgers are amazing so juicy and on delicious pretzel buns. Hands down one of the best elk and wagyu burger I had. The potatoes are so delicious with the side house sauce. The canyon cooler were okay as it was on a way sweeter side and heavy for my liking but glad that they have a bunch of mocktail drinks. Highly recommend anyone to try. read more

Tried another restaurant on night #2. It was acceptable. But my wife insisted we go back on night #3 ( no complaints here lol) despite having other highly recommended restaurants. Another home run! I got the pork chops this time!!! Soooo good! Austin was our waiter both nights, what a nice and personable guy!! This place is a bit out of the way for those staying in Springdale, but it's worth making the trek. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is really good. I had an open faced turkey sandwich that reminded me of my childhood days. Walking in, my wife and I both smelled the apple crisp. We ordered it just from the smell alone and it was GREAT! This place is amazing! We went 2 nights in a row and are forcing ourselves to try a new place our third night here. Our first night we sat outside and I got the special Mahi Mahi over coconut rice and a house salad and my husband got the Big Sexy Burger. They change their specials around daily, sometimes having the same things while changing others. The Mahi Mahi was so delicious and flavorful and the burger was juicy. The 2 meals, salad, and one drink was around $100 with tip. The next night we went back and there was a wait- we were told about 45 mins and we knew it would be worth it. Turns out a bus arrived with 50 people so our wait was an hr and a half, but it was worth it! We sat inside and ordered 4 entrees this night and another house salad. The Big Sexy Burger, Wild Thyme Pasta, and 2 specials- the Bison Meatloaf and the Pistachio Crusted Trout. The Trout was more bland than expected, compared to the Mahi Mahi the previous night. But over all, everything was so good! My husband devoured the Bison Meatloaf. We spent $150 with tip this night for the 4 entrees, salad, and one drink. So so good. We may end up going back one more time before we leave in a couple days. read more

I love the ambiance of choice inside nice open and relaxed or outside choice of being under the misters or being on the grass. I love the options! First visit we had Samantha who was super friendly and recommended the bison tenderloin. I went with the bison ribeye since I'm a ribeye girl and my husband went with the bison tenderloin. They were both delicious but Samantha was right the tenderloin melted in our mouth faster. We also order the salmon crab cakes and my best friend got the elk burger. Everything was amazing from the plating to being cooked to perfection. Kudos to the kitchen. The second day we returned and decided to sit outside. Our server was Megan she was amazing and the sweetest. Me and my husband ordered the bison tenderloin medium. My best friend ordered the bison stroganoff. Another hit the ball out of the park meals like wow!!! I'm drooling as I write up this review and thinking our Bison plates hands down our favorite meals ever! It was my birthday eve and Megan was so kind to buy me a birthday dessert. That is the first time that ever happened to me. She not only made me but our group of three feel extra special!
