Excellent option if you're in the area. We stopped in after hiking at Zion for a late lunch. Perfect table spot out in the yard. Table service was perfect, just enough attention without being overbearing. Wait staff are top notch and the cocktails were right on point. We each had a cup of soup and shared the bacon wrapped bison meatloaf. Probably the best meatloaf we've ever had. So glad we passed on the stuffy sports bar and dark dingy cafe offerings. I've always believed in supporting local restaurants and was genuinely looking forward to dining here. Unfortunately, shortly after our meal, I experienced symptoms consistent with food poisoning. I cannot say with certainty which item may have caused it, but I wanted to share this in case others have had similar experiences recently. Their food was our last meal before we had a two day excruciating painful stomach cramps and diarrhea. The staff were kind, and the ambiance was lovely, which makes this situation even more disappointing. I hope the management takes this as constructive feedback to review their food handling and safety procedures. Wow! My first time having bison and it truly blew my taste buds away. The seasoning and that sauce was something else and so well done. I tasted no gaminess whatsoever. Very dog friendly (a big deal for our pet who had to be separated from us for much of the day). Food was tasty and offered vegan and gluten free options for one member of our group. This is a new place, about 1 year old in this location. The ambience is beautiful with the mountains surrounding this restaurant set in an apple orchard. It is very popular and so it was a long wait, but the food was delicious. I had the pistachio chicken and my daughter had the pork chop and everything was exquisite! The service was good. Wild Thyme gets the triple crown for great food, lovely outdoor venue and outstanding service! We had terrible dinner previous night and were hoping not to have a repeat of inedible, horribly oversalted food and Wild Thyme put our worries to rest. Things were off to good start with the friendly hostess who was thoughtful, accommodating in seating us. My sisters ordered angel pasta and grilled chicken sandwich and I had the salmon entree. All dishes were cooked well with quality ingredients and just right amount of seasoning. My iced tea and strawberry lemonade were excellent as well. It was perfect weather for sitting outside with great relaxed, casual vibes on the patio and lawn with orchard, canyon views. But what made our meal really stand out was our super awesome server, Brayden. He has an easy, gracious manner which make people feel welcomed and comfortable, relaxed. He is attentive without being overly so and just plain genuinely nice. Brayden is great example of true hospitality and it was our great pleasure to be served by him. The food was insane!! Some of the best ribs I've ever had in my life, feel off the bone just trying to pick them up. The asparagus with garlicky and well seasoned, and potatoes extra crispy. Our server let us split the meal and add a side salad which was the perfect portion. She brought out extra plates and was extremely accommodating. The layout of the restaurant is wonderful, lots of outdoor seating with nature and creatures walking past. There is also lots of indoor space if you are not feeling the outdoors. Food okay - ribs not anything special but the special was good. Ambiance great. Food service abysmal. Would not recommend based on this experience. Server was surly and couldn't be bothered. Waited 15 minutes for Jaden to show up. Asked about the stroganoff special and was told it had "noodles, onions, brown sauce". Jaden didn't provide initial water, 1st refill of water, or serve the cocktails. After waiting 30 minutes after we ordered (no substitution or special requests, btw), I had to go inside to ask the hostess if we had a server, since we had been waiting 45 minutes since sitting down for our meal. Hostess came back out to table to say dinner would be served in 3 minutes and I told her I would time it (yes, I did). Amazingly, another server did serve our dinner within 3 minutes and served another round of cocktails. Food was moderate in temperature - definitely not hot. Jaden EVENTUALLY showed up to ask if we were good and provided a refill of water - and left the pitcher at the table for our convenience. Oh no, Jaden - it was for your convenience. At no time did a manager come by, especially after informing hostess there was an issue which should have been conveyed and not covered up. Jaden drifted by sliding the dessert menu in front of us (we declined - I didn't want to wait another hour), and dropped the to-go containers on the table. The ONLY thing Jaden was prompt about was presenting the bill and running the cards for us. We both declined a receipt, but Jaden made a point of providing a copy of the receipt to communicate his displeasure of his tip. Here's a tip for you, Jaden - do a good job and get a good tip. BTW - I typically tip 25%, so you lost a good chunk of change on a $140 bill - ouch. I also want to mention a couple ladies were seated at an adjacent table after us, they eventually went inside to find a server, ordered drinks and dinner, ate, and left before us! And they add 3% for credit card payments - not disclosed on their website, so beware! Think twice about dining there - and don't go hungry, because you might become hangry with the service and the amount you spent. read more

While on vacation we tried the Wild Thyme Cafe. The setting was beautiful and the server was very nice. However, the meal was disappointing and not a good value. The Pistachio Chicken, one of their signature dishes, was the equivalent of cafeteria food. The rib eye was very chewy and extremely undercooked. All of our other meals in Springdale (Oscar's and the Zion Lodge) were much better. We really wanted to enjoy the meal but didn't unfortunately. read more

An absolute perfect end to our afternoon in Zion National park. We were a party of 4 on a Saturday evening and didn't have to have a reservation. Plenty of outdoor seating, amazing views and it was busy but didn't feel crowded. No for the goods.... Pineapple Mojito-EPIC! Our party ordered the Pistachio Chicken ( one of the best things I've ever tasted) The Cowboy Ribs, the green chili Penne with chicken and the Pork Chop (another out of bounds meal with so much flavor) I'll be making a drive out here monthly from St George as every detail was spot on. Since I was solo that evening, I grabbed the last seat at the bar and understood quickly why all the tables were filled and the waiting area full! I had the great fortune to show up on Taco Thursday and ordered from that menu because where else are you going to get a fish taco in the deserts of Utah? Great service, varied menu, nice selection of wines and spirits, and--not to bury the lede--DELICIOUS FOOD.
