2nd time here last night (a Friday night), group of 15 of us out for a good time in a "country" joint. Stopped at the door as 1 friend has a shirt with "F... Around and Find Out" logo on the chest, they made her put duct tape over the 1st word. OK Fine. Place was pretty dead, maybe 100 people at most. DJ played either "downtown" music or pop country all night (Is this why it was so dead that everyone knows the Fri DJ sucks?). Here is how bad it was: Not a single George Strait song all night (Wife loves GS is how it was pointed out). About midnight, maybe 50 people left, its all bouncy music, and a not-so-skinny gal is out on the floor twerking her extremely short shorts as if there was a dildo stuck to the floor she was working. You could almost tell what she had for lunch... Embarrassing and disgusting. When our 4'11" female friend asked an employee why we were stopped due to the word on a shirt, but these young pole dancers were allowed to do this, he, a 6'2 or better steroid junkie, got all up (well DOWN in this case) in her face arguing, acting all big and bad, saying he was a cop and stuff and showed that he clearly failed any de-escalation training, if he was an actual legit LEO. She had enough and walked out, he followed her for a bit out the door, still pushing his point. We immediately followed and walked down the parking lot to other establishments where we closed out the night at 2am. Standing out in the parking lot for a bit after, contemplating our next venue, a couple walks by headed in, and we explain the shitshow in there tonight, but they wanted to go see. We ran into them a short while later at Shooters (across the parking lot), they told us how they were denied because "the guy's polo-type shirt was unnacceptable". Or MAYBE because they were seen talking to us on their way in??? lol They are all worried about shirts, but allow skanks to do R+ or worse activities on the dance floor for all to see. for all of you folks that enjoy having a night out on the town.... please!!!! please!!!! please!!!! tell people how much a shit company wild west cedar park, texas is and has become..tonight 01/22/21 at around 130 am sat 01/23/21i had two beers thrown away, apparently it was a customer and the bar staff knowing that it wasn't two empty beers... i did not accuse any bar staff for the trashed beer.. after getting two more beers that i bought, i expressed my own opinion about the bar and how it's operation was doing, and how well they served their customers, to my great friend..no i was not hostile towards the staff!!! and the management team thought i was ok to make themselves apart of my conversation. they proceed to tell me i couldn't express my feelings about their company and told me to leave the premises asap after i was removed from the dancefloor while having a dance with long time dance partner. now for all of you folks that know i've been going there for years.. ive been kicked out on minor reasons before but because i expressed my own feelings about a company..(in which i have a right to do) i get kicked out??? i'm a paying fucking customer,( keep in mind i've been going there for over 6 years!!!), and this is the way to treat your customers?? i think not!!!!!!!!!!!! never and i mean never go back to this fucking place again!! i hope some of yall see this post and put a review on behalf of me to shut this company down as soon as possible... please guys this isn't right!!!!!!!!!!!! maverick's north and south. i'll be seeing y'all a lot more and i cannot wait to be treated like a well respected paying customer! without being hostile and in your face over something that is not your fucking business!!!!!!!!! guys please share!!!! read more

The place plain and simple SUCKS!! Doorman that actually think they are important while they stand at the entry of a bar in Cedar Park , Texas!! Its actually comical. Slow bar service, followed by weak ass drinks begin your night. BTW watch out for the Donut feed cops that hang out by the door, you might get bit! Some of the dumbest bouncers on earth lurk throughout this place. We watched this dumb ass bouncer slam a young girls hand in the door leading outside then proceed to yell at her, telling her she was drunk etc and throws her and her entire group out! Unbelievable. My wife examined her hand before she left and it looked broke. They charge you a cover except Wed for ladies. WHY? Cover for what? For the nasty ass bathrooms? Steriod boys sit over and bang on the punching bag all night and overweight beer servers sit near the stairs. You really cant have more unfriendly bartenders that would scare you in the dark. AVOID this place. Hopefully someone with some management skills and with a better feel for their customers opens a country western/ current hits bar nearby soon!! A random young man and his sister tried to physically attack me. And then they called the police on me resulting in the bar, taking us all out. It was a super unfortunate experience, as I have no idea who these people are. The woman that tried to attack me, had the male bodyguard scream at me. It was just a terrible experience. Overall I go to this place to have fun. And I'm scared to return. Grace who runs the bar was no help to a fellow woman scared for her life. I've been attending this bars teen nights since I was 14. It has definitely become more unsafe even as an adult. The man who tried to attack me had a lot of cocaine on him and even tried to offer me some. The bar was quick to point fingers at me when there was an actual threat within the bar. It's extremely saddening this could happen to anyone. As I did not know the people who attacked me beforehand. When the police needed footage the bar "didn't have any cameras" considering it's very dark! Not safe at all, No cameras. read more

Well i would select 0 rating if that was an option. I have been to wild west many times. It has really gone downhill lately. I was there last Saturday with my niece. Around 1am out of no where i was standing at the bar by the dance floor and some fat ass comes and grabs me and drags me outside. He was rude man handled me and a total asshole. They said i was drunk and thought i was alone. Well.... I wasn't drunk at all!!!!! and if they had taken a few minutes and observed they would of seen i wasn't alone! I have called my attorney and will be filing a civil law suit against them for the way they treated me!!! I am a 49yr old woman. I have been going out dancing for over 20yrs and never in my life have i ever encountered something like this. NEVER!!!!!! They totatlly messed with the wrong person. I wouldn't go back there if you paid me! I would advise everybody to steer clear of this place. It is a joke! read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars, but sadly I cannot. Go back a few months and I would have at least given 4, my friends and I used to really love coming up here even though it's a 45 minute or more drive from south Austin. Recently a bunch of staff who have been there for a long time (who I was friends with) have either been randomly fired or they quit because of the new manager. It seems as if nobody enjoys working, or going there anymore. Just last night a girl passed out drunk and ems had to come take her out. And the cherry on top, a woman apparently threw a beer bottle at a bartender and then got arrested. It's going downhill and I think the only ones to blame are the people running it. Hopefully it doesn't end up like midnight rodeo did. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it needed to be said. read more

Wild west is horrible I didn't even get to go inside he said how old are you and I said 17 and the skinny boy and fat boy doors men said "why you take so long to answer boy" I said because it wasn't on my mind when you asked, then he said let me see your ID I said here and he said let me see your school ID because this looks fake" like cmon your just mad my friend fucked your girl who is the bar tender. ****THIS PLACE IS TRASH**** Bouncers ASSAULTING PEOPLE IN the parking lot like tonight March 17 2022, you know the one bouncer with the bald head and he drives a black lifted Toyota truck and has many incidences like this and the managers hasn't fired him yet. Never use a credit card at this place or they will rip you off. Cheap watered down Drinks. Customer cars Brocken into all the time. This place used to be amazing. I do not recommend going on a wed night and opening up a tab. Wed nights are ladies nights so I'm not 100% sure if the bartenders just assumed that when a women comes up to the bar and says to put it on some random guys tab they assume all men are buying shots from across the Room or what but this has happened to me twice now. Both times it has happened it's been done by one of their regular female customers who is clearly there enough to know how to scam the system. This place is shady at best, life threatening at worst. Terrible vibe, bad music, and all around an unsafe place to be after 10pm. My friend got jumped by a group of guys last night (Wednesday), who followed him from Wild West into the parking lot. It's funny how strict the bouncer is on who gets in (no flip flops allowed), and how lax they are on their security. If you want safe fun, go to Mavericks. Love that this place has teen nights but they are in desperate need of a DJ again. I don't know the last time we were able to request songs and it's getting sad. It's become too repetitive and they either need to change up the playlist or hire another DJ. read more
