There isn't even a street address on the side of the truck, so you can't pin them down. You just wait for them to pop up like those inflatable tube guys at a car dealer. We were lucky that the office building next door invited the CC:BBQ truck to set up in their parking lot. It was just a short walk over for us and you can smell the smoky goodness on the way over. A mob of us descended on the truck at lunchtime and ordered just about everything on the menu. But by the time I got to the front, they ran out of the Crafty Reuben. I settled for the Dirty Pig, which turned out to be a good choice. The Carolina Pulled Pork was perfectly tender and moist with a slight vinegary taste and was even better topped with bacon, soft fried egg and cheese. The club roll was really fresh and soft, making it a really tasty sandwich. I wasn't too hungry, otherwise I would have gotten the seasoned Waffle Fries also, but I did try some from my work buddy. If Crafty keeps showing up, I'm going to keep trying out the other menu items. Next time: KC Rib Tips and hopefully get my Reuben! Stay tuned.

Brisket was also tender and juicy The sausage was spicy but flavorful Crab cakes was decent, it wasn't overly seasoned so you won't have to worry about that. The sauce was kind of lemony, I would'nt recommend the sauce, The buffalo wings was unique, definetly not your average buffalo sauce, I would recommend eating them here and not to go in my opinion Charred broccoli was tasty Roasted potatoes was about what you would expect. But I enjoyed them, Corn bread was meh in my opinion, it could of been more moist, it wasn't dry but it felt like it was close to being dry especially the way it crumbled, but it was good just not great The lobster and shrimp pasta was a thin spaghetti: it wasn't bad but it was decent The Mac and cheese was cheesey a high 9/10 The cake was delicious and moist, ice cream was regular, enjoyed the graham cracker crumbs, and marshmallows as it complimented the flavors

They have free parking in two lots, one adjacent to the restaurant and one across the street. The spots are narrow so they may be a bit tight for super large cars. The restaurant does not allow strollers. They have a prominent sign on the front of the door, which I appreciated, but it did make it harder to manage with a little one. We made a reservation. I arrived late, but they sat my friend right away while she waited and provided us with sturdy wooden high chairs. To drink, I ordered a lemonade. It turned out to be pink lemonade, which I hadn't had in a while. It was tasty, especially with a requested fresh lemon for a little extra tartness. To eat, I had the tree hugger benedict. The eggs were well prepared and the English muffin was nice and buttery. Our waitress and other patrons were friendly.

In retrospect, maybe the best thing that happened was them running out of their cinnamon buns…read more The turkey club was inedible -- tasted like licorice. The waiter said it was the pesto mayo, which according to AI CAN migrate from sweet tasting to licorice flavored (ugh!) based on the basil being exposed to extreme heat causing it to flower. Swing and a miss. We switched it out for an eggs Benedict which wasn't much better. Strike two. The chicken and waffles came with a horrible BBQ flavored syrup and the chicken pieces tossed in top of the waffle felt (and tasted) like an afterthought. Another huge miss. Strike three. We are officially OUT.

I review coffee. At places that claim to be coffee experts. Coffee centric. Coffee elite…read more Bluestone Lane is one such place. It positions itself at the top of the coffee chain hierarchy. So I decided I would give it a try in Armonk, even though a previous visit to a different Bluestone lane was tragically unrewarding. This place is in a strip mall. It's cute inside and act as if it's a restaurant with hostess seating "please wait here to be seated" signage - leading to a confused collision at the entrance between patrons waiting to be seated, people trying to get to the register, people looking to just order a coffee.... I Immediately noted upon entering that there was exactly one staff member behind the counter, handling both the register and the espresso machine. This is usually a bad sign because one person is doing two jobs. I ordered a Cortado to stay, and indicated I would sit at the bar. The overworked gentleman was friendly and amicable and I asked him if he could do latte art on a Cortado. He said he would "to the best of his ability." He proceeded to make me a Cortado, delivered it in a timely manner, and offered me a water if I wanted - though oddly it was in a cup that was already on the counter. I think they set up the counter in advance, which clearly leads to a mix of clean cutlery and cups and dirty that people set on the counter. I have no idea if the water cup that my water was poured into was clean and I didn't touch it.... The Cortado I received as pictured was poured with a reasonable attempt, though it was below what I can do at home and I'm no barista. I attribute this to the guy being rushed and doing two jobs at the same time, and perhaps needing a little bit more training. But the real tragedy - it was cold. The cup was not preheated, and even though I received the drink quickly after it was prepared, it was not much more than lukewarm and unenjoyable. I left 2/3 of it behind and exited. This is not an elite coffee establishment. It's a coffee enterprise, trying to be a growth chain and compete with the likes of Starbucks, pretending to use real barista and real espresso machines, but delivering subpar to the consumer.
