The service was friendly, the place was clean, but the pizza itself was just ok and ridiculously overpriced ($43 w/ tip for two 10 inch thin crust pizzas). Plus, they were out of both mushrooms and sausage (I don't know how that even happens at a pizzeria?); the attendant at the counter was nice though and did comp us for not having the ingredients. All-in-all, I'd say Dave Portnoy would call B. Antonio's your typical "drunk pizza"... Average at best, but wouldn't be considered good unless you're hammered drunk. 5.8 out of 10.00 read more

Ordered here for the first time. There was a little mix up, but they corrected it in 10 minutes. Great service. My 12 yr old son said it was some of the best pizza he had ever had! Pizza is great here, they go heavy on toppings and sauce tastes homemade, even if it may not be. Last time we were in a few weeks ago, they messed up on my pizza side, hubs half was fine. I would've been ok with them just making me a small pizza to replace my half but they went way above and beyond by making an entire new large, PLUS half off our order. Amazing service, we always bring home enough to eat for a couple days and I have even frozen some and popped into convection oven to reheat, was just as great. I would not go here if you desire gluten free pizza. Pizza and soda was $26, with tip it's easily over $30. Food was good but you can go to Casa D's and get a large gluten free large pizza for $13. At B Antonio's Small is $8, med $16, large $20 then they up charge gluten free an additional $4. Not worth the money. I am a big supporter of local businesses, but there are too many reasonable pizza places to pay that kind of money. They had 7 workers there just standing around talking maybe that's why they have to charge so much for their pizza. Last Friday 7/1 at about 10:00 pm we were hungry but this was the only restaurant that seemed to be open so we stopped in to try it. We've eaten here previously but stopped because of subpar food. It had been one of our favorite places. Anyway we ordered a hand tossed, bacon, sausage, and mushrooms pizza. I wasn't expecting much, so imagine my surprise when we started eating this pizza....it was some of the best pizza we've had in a long time. Perfectly made and cooked. Taste alright, kind of expensive pie. It taste ok, but doesn't blow me out of the water or anything. Kind of average kind of bland pie up at B Antonio. Same goes for the other cooking, the pasta, and sandwiches. Sausage roll is pretty average here, kind of big if you pack it on high and pay through the nose. Love their Hawaiian calzone and the butter sauce that come with it. But twice I have been disappointed in this place's service. First was when I dined in and the people working in the kitchen were just so freakishly loud talking and laughing and yelling with each other my whole meal. Second was when I ordered online, waited more than an hour, I then called only to find out that my order went through but they didn't catch it at all so my food was never made to begin with. Thankfully I had only ordered for myself and not for a family or group of starving people. Human error I guess and the lady politely apologized and had asked if I wanted a refund or for them to make it. I requested the refund and ordered elsewhere. Since then I try to stay away from B. Antonio's due to bad service. Food tasted good but the service is just as important too. Hopefully they change things up for the better. read more

Whoa. Pleasantly surprised. Ordered an XL philly steak specialty pizza and an XL garlic chicken pizza that came with a free order of breadsticks because they just do that on Mondays. Fed my giant 8 person family and the pizzas were bomb. As in, they were the bomb. Their ranch base on the philly was superb and the roast beef was really thinly sliced but well packed for a meaty, hearty pizza. Service was fast even though the place was packed. They have a large crew working in the kitchen getting pizzas pushed out. My family would not hesitate to order take out from them again and their dining room was very clean and spacious. read more

Recently ordered 2 custom veggie pizzas. Unfortunately one had a few pepperoni on it. Additionally, it was 3.00$ a topping + 16.00$ for the base cost so our pizzas were 32$ each. Comparatively the veggie pizza on the menu is 20$ for the same size. I was upset having paid 60+$ for 2 pizzas and one made wrong. I spoke to the manager who was respectful and offered a 50% refund. He also informed me that next time to get the "veggie" pizza and sub out ingredients to get them for 20$ each. I would have appreciated if they had help us to only pay 20$ each in the first place. Overall it was a good experience because the manager made things right. The pizza it's self was slightly above average in my option. Always the #1 place when we decide we want pizza at our house. They have some great daily specials like free breadsticks one day and such. Very professional staff always treats me well. Mr. James L. Long, I'm a 49 Yr. Old Male whom had numerous choices for a bite to eat on Sat, Sep, 14th, 2013'. I chose B. Antonio's, although there were literally a dozen or so places within walking distance from where I was having my Tire Service Service performed. It was between 2:30 - 3:00pm time frame. The employees were obviously tending to other priorities upon me walking in. I was greeted immediately by a pleasant young Man. After telling him my choice { 9 Hot wings w/Blue cheese & a Root Beer } I went ahead and seated myself. Although I requested Celery along with my Wings I was told they were out. I initially requested a Beer and was told they don't serve Alcoholic Beverages. Those two things were quickly put out of my mind as not mattering, I cant begin to stress that enough! The service was fantastic, ( professional & pleasant ). The Wings were lathered in a great sauce with quite the kick accompanied by just enough Blue cheese dressing to finish off the ninth Wing. Root beer served in a generous sized Tumbler and I was asked by the Female server if I'd like a re-fill to go, although I declined Her offer. All in all, this Restaurant was clean, neat, and the Service & Food scrumptious! To say I'd visit them again would be a gross understatement..! The 2 setbacks were no Celery and no Alcohol served. I say, "so what", to both of those issues. This place made me feel like a King. I will definitely go back and look forward to tasting a multitude of offerings on the diverse Menu. It was extremely obvious that meeting the Customers wants and needs in a professional & pleasant manner was their Mission Statement! B. Antonio's is a great little independently owned pizza place with 2 locations in Fort Wayne. This location is the original, and has been a Chapel Ridge staple for over 10 years. Their pizza and especially their calzones are delicious. The breadsticks are always a delicious option as well. If you like to dip in ranch dressing, then this is the place. My first visit to B Antonio's and I was ready to be impressed, based on reviews and what others have told me. There were 6 adults and 2 children...we were there to have a pizza lunch to celebrate some birthdays. First, the acoustics in the place suck...very noisy and hard to hear my dining companions talk. Our server (she never introduced herself, but the receipt said Samantha) had zero personality and no enthusiasm. We did not feel welcome. Once we ordered it took almost 45 minutes to get our food, despite only 1 other table in the place. I faced the kitchen and the staff had no hustle. Apparently they had carryout and delivery orders, which delayed the dine in food. The calzone I ordered arrived lukewarm...it had obviously been sitting out and ignored by our server, yet the two pizzas on our order arrived piping hot. We brought it to the attention of the manager on duty who offered to remake it or take it off the bill. I opted to have it warmed up (bad choice...arrived piping hot but overcooked). Unfortunately half of our party had to wait another 10 minutes for their pizza, even though we ordered at the same time. Over the pizza was good, the calzone terrible and the service horrible. Just moved to Fort Wayne from Alabama and decided to try B Antonio's Pizza based on the reviews and after looking at the menu. We were able to order online which was great because we were in the middle of unpacking and no one wanted to go out. Prices were pretty high ($22.29 for a 16" pepperoni sensation and $10.59 for a Tuscany Chicken pizza) These are specialty pizzas hence the higher prices but still....a bit pricey. I placed order and was given a delivery time of 1 hour but we actually got our pizza in like 30 min! Talk about fast!!! (This could also be in part that it was a Tuesday but still super fast!) Pizza was hot fresh out of the oven for sure. We had to let it sit a bit before we could eat. Coming from AL where the pizza choices were not much, this place was delish! Everything tasted great from the sauce, cheese to the crust. The Tuscany chicken pizza was good but VERY rich! It's a sweeter pizza having an Alfredo type sauce instead of tomato. If your curios and want to try it, I'd suggest getting a small first as it may not be for everyone. After moving here from Indy I wasn't sure we would be able to find good pizza beyond the staples (Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, etc.). Thankfully, we tried B Antonios and have never looked back! Great flavor, quality ingredients, and reasonable prices. Their buffalo pizza is fantastic. Their standard red sauce is also great. Honestly, although I'm sure they hate hearing this, their red sauce pizza tastes like a higher quality version of Papa Johns. Similar sweeter sauce and kind of yeasty dough. But definitely a higher quality version with higher quality ingredients. The calzones are fantastic as well. There's nothing here that we've tried that we didn't like.
