Had dinner here on Friday night around 7pm. When I arrived I was greeted by friendly staff and seated immediately. The server was also friendly and helpful with the menu choices. I had the 3 piece chicken tender plate with fries. Very pleased with my meal!!! The tenders come in a spicy breading which was very enjoyable. The honey mustard sauce is homemade and excellent!! We stopped in here on the way to Florida and met with some friends that live in Statesboro for dinner. Our waiter was great-he was super attentive and never let us run out of our drinks. Been to Wild Wing cafe of Statesboro dozens of times with groups, in twos, and with the family and have never, ever had an issue that was not corrected when addressed. The only negative thing I can say about the WWCafe is I do miss the live music. Food is always great. The baked Spinach Dip is great, but they did used to give you more. The serving bowl has become a shallow saucer. Chicken feathers are the way to go if you are not wanting to gorge yourself! Burgers and salads have always been great. Regular fries or sweet potato fries are always hot and fresh. Dipping sauces great, and the wing sauce selection is fantastic. There are some many good flavor combinations that you can have a different sauce every time you dine there. Don't sit there talking and drinking, well after your food has been delivered, and then expect it to still be hot when you finally decide to get around to eating it. Cannot understand the keyboard warrior snowflakes who get on here and bash restaurants, yet they never once asked for a manager to rectify their issue while they are present. Good managers in restaurants will bend over backwards to make sure you enjoy your food and your experience. However, they are NOT mind readers. And true many don't get around to every table, BUT THEY SHOULD. HEAR YE, HEAR YE! MANAGERS DO YOUR JOB, VISIT WITH YOUR GUESTS DURING THEIR MEAL!! However customers should not get on here and bash any restaurant, and I'm not defending, nor do I work at a restaurant. However, just saying, it is your money, your time, your experience, SPEAK UP DURING THE VISIT, not hours, days, or weeks later on a computer! If you give the staff and management a chance to correct the issue in real time, you improve the experience for everyone. Good Managers can turn your feedback into real-time teaching moments for their staff. Bashing via electronic post after the fact does nothing constructive. You are not going to harm their business. The quality of the food and service has gone down. The family and I would go about once every two weeks and now it's about once every other month. It's either the food comes out cold or takes forever even when not busy. Or the staff has an attitude. They don't mind you spending $100 plus and $20 and $30 tip, but they sure don't wanna earn it. These guys make a really good burger! However, the wings are awful and the sauces are even worse. I got a 6+6 deal this time with mesquite and lemon pepper. They actually smelled spoiled and the mesquite sauce was ketchup based and was just plain gross! There were 4 of us eating and 4 of us got wings. We all 4 had stomach aches and severe intestinal issues the next day. I am well today and will be back but I'm staying away from the wings. The burger and tator tots are amazing. What a great restaurant with good food and terrific service! I organized a soccer team dinner for 50 people this weekend and it was very successful, thanks to the Wild Wing staff and our waitress, Kelsey! I have eaten here three times. Twice with groups and once on my own with a friend. I ate here the third time because my friend wanted to try it, and I thought maybe the reason my food and service had been so terrible the first two times was because I had been with a large group. Nope! I have friends who rave about this place, and maybe it's because of the bar? The food has been terrible every time. I have gotten everything from hamburgers with raw meat inside to wings swimming in a half inch thick pond of grease. All three meals were disgusting. Today I had a party of four friends meet up at Wild Wing for lunch. While the food is always good here, the service is hit or miss. We took our chances and lost today. Food for three of us was brought out, but our fourth party member was forgotten completely. We couldn't find our waitress to flag her down, but when she did finally come back, we had finished eating and shared our food. She asked if there was anything we needed, and so we responded that we needed the fourth meal. She came back just a few moments later saying that the kitchen had forgotten to make the fourth meal, a salad, but that she could offer a side salad in it's place. Unfortunately, this is typical for this location. Later when I checked my bank account, I realized that they had charged me twice for my meal. I had the bacon and egg cheeseburger with fries for lunch while watching Georgia football on TV. It was really amazing. I initially ordered the burger medium well and then I thought about how some places serve that temperature too cool, so I went with well done. Well, well done come out medium well and perfect. The bun was fantastic and the egg perfectly cooked...the yellow didn't run BTW...so if that's what you're looking for you might specify that.....the meat was cooked great, really tasty. I and a group of friends have been showing up on Wednesdays for Trivia for about three months. While the atmosphere is great and the food is good, you may need to request a redo on the food. The nachos tend to come out burned if you do not specify they be lightly toasted. Also, if you complain, instead of fixing the issue, they tell you not to return. read more

Wild wing cafe in other areas typically has excellence service. I cannot say that about this location. The wait staff walking by with no concern for the customer after knowing they have not been waited on. If it was wall to wall with people I could and do understand. By far worst service ever. My waiter was not only rude but seem not to care. Me and my party waited 45 minutes for our food to come out and when we asked the waiter(Parker) after waiting about 30 minutes what was taking so long he told us that they had a large party upstairs on the patio. He never came over to tell us our order was falling behind or that they were having issues in the kitchen. When we asked if maybe our order was coming out again after he walked past our table several times he said he didn't know anything. He then told me that there was no point in either of us getting mad because nothing could be done. We asked to speak to a manager because Parker was being rude and while his manager was standing there he continued to say whatever he wanted to us and all the manager said "I told you I would talk to him after we closed." This is after Parker told us he didn't understand why people thought they should get free food. No one in my party asked for free food even after they dropped one of our orders on the floor. I had placed a takeout order the other day and was treated by a very rude and unkind employee. I wanted to place a order of 12 boneless wings and big fat fries and I asked to make them "cheesy" for an extra .89 cents and the very rude employee told me in a very condescending way, acting like I am a dumbass for asking that, she simply could not understand the simple god damn concept of putting queso on French fries. She then proceeded to bitch at me for how late I called to place my takeout order, I was verbally harassed while I was there. I soon took my food home after being harassed and looked down Upon and found that my food was extremely cold tasted like it had been sitting out for hours and of course there was no god damn queso on my fries. First time here. Not good. Honestly worst $80 we've ever spend. Waiter was friendly and seemed to be the only one working. Order 3 soft drinks. Two sodas one tea. Husbands soda very flat. So he requested a new one and received it. "Hot shot" fried sausage was burned beyond recognition in appetizer. Whatever, it's the combo plate so more than enough to just not eat those. Meals come.. onion rings were raw, literally raw flour, send back after my daughter bit into it and found the raw flour. He takes it away to replace. Comes back with the same ones re fried. Um gross. One was bitten into already so now not raw but filled with grease. Plus who knows what other already eaten food is thrown back in to the same disgusting oil. My Husband ordered wings, two flavors. They come sauceless no buffalo - just plain fried. He mentions it to the waiter who genuinely seems confused. And asked "oh is it not hot enough" uh no, it has no buffalo they are just fried chicken wings. So he brings out a small container of sauce for my husband to dip. Didn't ask what flavor he wanted, just brought one. We still don't know which flavor it was. Nice kid but no real acknowledgement of 2 of the 3 meals were either wrong or messed up. Pay the bill and leave a tip (because we aren't assholes and the waiter didn't cook the food) totaling $80. Will for sure not return ever.
