Don't Bother. Wouldn't normally have stopped in but they opened up in the failed Shed Smokehouse location and I was tagging along with others. The only thing different is the signage and menu obviously. Terrible tiny wings that are WAY overpriced. Was there for shift change - the young woman who was there at first was great - then came the unprofessional and unhelpful change of staff. I know it's a franchise and expectations should be kept on the low side but put in an effort at least! When I mentioned that the Dry Southern Heat wings tasted like curry powder, our server came back from the kitchen to explain that the cook said "it's whatever comes out of the shaker" read more

It was my first time at the smokehouse I had been previously to the location when it was a different restaurant. It was the middle of the day and dead which I like, the waitress was very quick and checked on us regularly. The hot wings were awesome and tasted amazing with blue cheese. My favourite thing has to be their fries, I don't know what they do with them or if they even use any spices but oh my god they are AMAZING. The only negative thing is the menu is quite small and not that many options. I figured a smokehouse would have more bbq and meat options. Skipped work and headed up north in search of some good food and quality time by the lake. Being a big fan of BBQ, we found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a shot. You walk through a spacious Patio with ample seating and umbrellas to access the main door. We were greeted immediately with a smile and asked for a seat on the patio. We were brought menus and given time to go through it. Our drink requests also came in a timely manner. After some recommendations from the waitress, we opted for the Smoked chicken breast club with the bacon on the side coupled with a side order of fries. We also got the classic burger with a side of onion rings. While we were waiting for our food, I noticed that their smoker, situated on the patio, was giving off heavenly smells as their briskets were cooking. The food arrived in a very reasonable amount of time and the presentation was fantastic. The burger was served on a brioche bun that had perfectly absorbed some of the juices. The meat was a good sized portion and the onion rings!! Oh my. Best onion rings I've had. Likely breaded in Panko, they were perfectly browned and crunchy. The burger and fries were also served with a small portion of deliciously home made potato salad in a cute mason jar. The onion rings were served in a chip basket and the burger was served on a customized The Shed cutting board. The chicken on the chicken club was cooked perfectly and served on a delicious baguette. My significant other who is a self admitted bread snob, couldn't contain herself. We had asked for the bacon on the club sandwich to be served on the side and the waitress did a great job at remembering our small but important request. The fries were perfectly cooked and crispy. All in all, there is a lot of value and quality here. If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend this place. Clean, wholesome, delicious food served up at a reasonable price. Walked away knowing that we'd be coming back for the brisket (which they were sold out of :((( ). read more

Awesome craft beer selection, lovely patio. I ordered the Sunday special, brisket sandwich and fries for $10. It also came with potato salad and a few onion rings. Needless to say, you won't leave hungry! I love that this place doesn't feel like the other restaurants going up everywhere. It's unique in so many ways! Our server was very professional and casually attentive - exactly what you'd want at a restaurant like this. She knew the manu well and had great recommendations. Great beer suggestions! Asked the server for a good one and she hooked me and my buddy up with one from Beaus. Sunday specials are great, 10$ for either pulled pork, brisket, or chicken wrap with fries or salad. Really thought this location was going to finally be that welcome addition Sutton was waiting on. Being a local I think I can speak for most of the town when this location and past establishments were a big disappointment and the food and service and daily and nightly activities were a huge let down over and over again. Like most of the town it was refreshing to hear a new partner stepped in with fresh ideas and drive. We frequent here quite often for wings and beers after work...And since blinders are clearly being worn I had to yelp something I can't stand it anymore...Whole different world watching from the other side of the bar a few days a week...maybe the owner should try it sometime...no hard feelings but business is business and people's investments should pay off ...Food is top notch. Service is same old disappointing treatment and faces from the past. There was a couple new very friendly very attentive and fun girls in there fresh faces that were bringing the uncleaned front of the house back to life and complimented the change and helped get the town believing in this place and giving it YET another chance ...again, and they were not part of the bad memories of the past and experiences our town (who are not drunks and partying everyday) endured at this location...time after time. Unfortunately when a house is divided it crumbles. The kitchen can be as strong and on cue as can be but bottom line when your service staff is rude and on cell phones and the once rude server no one got along with is now the manager and holds some power lol IS shockingly the oldest and the most unprofessional of them all. Many of us have seen her first hand being rude to servers and guests faces and also belittling and gossiping at the bar to us (the guests) or to one of the few girls she backs up in there behind the bar after the other girl has walked away completely embarrassed and done nothing wrong at all...making us at the bar very uncomfortable and showing a very catty side ...and over other servers getting praise and guests taking to them and joking and tipping them or ordering through them and not her...she has no problem making it known and bragging about getting rid of them and cutting there shifts ...Small town talk goes far and so does good food and hospitality. This restaurant was recommended to us last winter. We took the family for lunch about 5 months ago and the food was really good. We went there last week expecting the same quality and the food was atrocious. The cook was sitting outside when we got there and was clearly mad that we were coming in. The fries were undercooked and the gravy looked and tasted like dirty dish water. Only positive the waiter was friendly. $30 bill for garbage food, we will never go there again. read more

Best restaurant in town in my opinion. Wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was coming from what the place used to be. If you're looking for reasonably price, delicious, southern style BBQ then this is the place for you. The wide selection of craft beer is just a plus. On tap and in tall cans! They have something new every time I come in, I love it, keeps things interesting. The service is exceptional and you are always welcomed with a warm smile. I'm happy to call myself a regular there.
