One more thing: I have done a bit of price comparison with Whole Foods and Olivers. I find Community Market to beat Olivers and be about the same as Whole Foods.

Today I went to Oliver's to buy something to take to eat while out at the beach…read more I wanted a teriyaki chicken bowl. I noticed that they started putting broccoli and carrots in the bowl. I started to ask the person who was making sushi about the added vegetables. I have been buying these chicken bowls for years without the vegetables being in the bowl. I dont like the vegetables in the bowls. I asked the lady who works in the sushi department when they started adding the vegetables ,because I know the last time I purchased them there were no vegetables. Thats when the guy making pizza dough butted in and rudely said that they have always put the vegetables in the chicken bowls . I latter learned his name is Armoni. I told him that I had been buying these chicken bowls for years and no vegetables. The sushi lady said about 6 month ago. Armani insisted it has been for 2 years even after the sushi making lady said 6 months. Armani acted like he knew more that the lady that makes these bowls for the hot food department and like he knows more than a regular customer who has been shopping there since the store opened in this location. He was very rude to me and his fellow worker. He should have minded his own business and stuck to making pizza. Normally the employees are very nice in the Oliver's Market. I do have to give a big thumbs up to I think his name was Trevor. He was the guy who was sweeping the floors. I watched him clean under and behind things with such detailed attention all while having a smile on his face. I hope I got his name correct. He was a thin guy with short blond hair a big smile .

But that's true at the "big" WF over at Coddingtown Mall, too. You have to be familiar with the item and other stores to know if that's a great deal or not. I appreciate how much the produce department carries, especially, as that's most of my shopping list. Stepping inside you'll find a nice market with many different products such as produce, a small salad bar, olive bar, groceries and drinks as well as a deli. Everything looked really good quality. We chose two Tuscan veggie sandwiches which were already prepared in the deli case and looked incredible. The helpful deli counter employee recommended that they were best heated up and offered to do so while we looked around. Soon our sandwiches were warm and off we went. The sandwich was delicious. Absolutely a delight to the senses. Visually it was fresh and vibrant. The layers were impressive. The taste, amazing. The olive tapenade, pesto, greens and veggies were delicious. But the real reason you should shop there is because yesterday when the person who was supposed to drop my groceries had an emergency and couldn't bring them. I was recovering from abdominal cancer surgery so I couldn't go myself. Anthony, one of the owners I believe, offered to drop them off. He came right after work. Never event brought up a service or delivery fee. It's a 5-7 min drive for him but the gesture, for me, is reason enough to shop there as often as I can.
