We love this local spot in Eagan!! We always have great service and even better food. They can be quite busy depending on the day; it's definitely a favorite spot for many people. Their buffalo chicken eggrolls are hands down one of my favorite items on the menu. We also shared the chicken Philly sandwich and a basket of fries - both were so good! I can't wait to come back again when they have bingo and live music.

All around great experience. Friendly capable staff, delicious food, reasonable priced drinks. We benefited from Happy hour and my husband had the BYOB 1/2 pound burger special. He ate it all including the fries! I had the Baja chicken wrap and (large!) side of tasty coleslaw. The wrap was really great. Ambience is nice-clean, comfortable, not too loud. Next time we are in the area and staying at nearby hotel we will definitely be back! Outdoor space was inviting but too cool for that today unfortunately.

A fun place! Good food. Excellent service by Tiffany. A small, local bar. We stopped here on a Friday evening to have some dinner and drinks. It was fairly busy and pretty noisy with people talking. The football game was on as well. We ordered the Gyro Sandwich with fries and a Beef Taco Salad. Our food came out quickly. Large portions! Wow! Everything was delicious. We played pull Tabs and won enough money to keep playing. Ha! It was a fun evening out!

Next stop on #eaganrestaurantweek was this place. Being a die hard Eastview fan, it felt a little wrong to be in the Wildcat bar but whatever helps local businesses works for me. We started with cheese curds and beer. I had a Summit EPA. I opted for the burger with fried onions, lettuce and tomato. The onions were thin and sautéd perfectly. Burger was juicy and huge. Bun toasted. Really good. I chose tots for my side and they were so crispy and good. We also had a Greek salad with gyro meat, chicken street tacos and another burger and fries at our table. Everyone enjoyed their meals and beers. There was outdoor seating but we were inside. Servers all had masks. Tables were distanced. Lots of TVs so we were able to watch the Twins and the Stanley Cup. Good sports bar atmosphere.

I've gotten food from Wild Cats a few times -- I'm kind of a Juicy Lucy snob and I like theirs. Today though, my burger was just ehh and instead of their normal fries I got the garlic fries. They were legitimately the worst fries I have ever had. Ever. I figured that there would be some seasoning on them, not cold wet chunks of garlic. It truly was bizarre. So, I didn't eat those. My husband and I also got some wings to share and those were pretty good. I'm sure I'll order again or stop in, but for now I'm going to take a break from Wild Cats for awhile.

Wildcats has been reviewed a number of times by others already, but I don't know if I've ever seen a review that mentions their INCREDIBLE HOMEMADE SALSA! We stopped in, just for a drink and also added chips & salsa. Incredible! Honestly, the salsa was so good we're considering just coming here for that! Yum!

I liked the choice of doing the flight since I'm always trying to taste everything. They had a wide variety and I usually like the fruit beers and I found the pineapple one to be delicious! The old fashion was quite strong! The bar is pretty big and open, good for mingling. The food looked delicious too but we were only here for late night drinks. They have popcorn and pull tabs available too. They also do trivia and happy hour. We loved the vibes here. The bartender was friendly, servers got us water once but don't come back to check on us but we were ok with being left alone that night.

A Self-Service Sisyphus: The Taps and Trials of Union 32 In…read morethe shadow of the Vikings' headquarters in Eagan, Union 32 Craft House offers a uniquely Minnesotan proposition. Named for the state's status as the 32nd to join the Union, the establishment is built around a "Beer Wall"--a self-pour monument to local brewing that promises the drinker ultimate autonomy. It is a large, inviting space, designed for the expansive social ritual of a modern taproom.  The culinary offerings here are a pleasant surprise, rising significantly above the standard "hole-in-the-wall" bar fare. The menu feels intentional rather than an afterthought, providing a solid foundation for the liquid education happening at the taps. One cannot fault the quality of the sustenance or the hospitality of the staff, who remain remarkably friendly despite a recurring operational shadow: the house always seems to be exactly one person short. Each shift carries the palpable energy of a team perpetually running a man down, a testament to their grit but a strain on the overall rhythm of the room. However, the centerpiece of the experience--the self-serve technology--is where the friction lies. While the concept of filling one's own glass is liberating, the digital interface lacks a certain clairvoyance. There is nothing quite so deflating as committing to a pour only to have the keg go "bust" mid-stream, or finding that the tap you've selected is already dry. The system requires a more robust marriage of software and cellar management; the guest should not have to be the one to discover a vacancy in the line. "A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure." -- Czech Proverb Union 32 is a noble experiment in craft beer culture, providing a vast playground for the adventurous palate. But until the technology catches up with the inventory, and the roster is filled by that one missing player, it remains a work in progress--even if the beer itself is already a finished masterpiece. I'm so sorry to be leaving this review and especially without any photos!…read more Racks has been a happy hour 'safe bet' for a while. It's close to the office, has a laid back vibe and the food has always been reliable. Our experience this evening was enough for us to say, "never again." Walking in - the first observation - mildew smell. I'm not sure if they're battling water in the restaurant or straight up, mold, but it wasn't pleasant. Secondly, our waitress... well, let's just say she had two MAJOR distractions. Her kids were spending the night with her at work! As 5-7 year olds typically are, they were antsy, running around and likely hungry. She was visibly frustrated at the situation and I genuinely felt bad for her, but this impacted our service in a BIG way! I will say, she filled our (relatively simple) orders accurately, but not timely. There's just better options. Oh! Unless you want to see butt cheeks, like full on buttocks (regardless of the time of day), I would avoid Racks on a professional dime.

First off, going through the hidden Coke machine entrance is actually really fun and makes the whole place feel like a little adventure. The decor and speakeasy atmosphere are definitely the standout. Very cool space. VERY loud though. Like "lean across the table and say WHAT?" loud at times. The waitress was super nice and recommended a mocktail for me that called Ass in the Sand. It ended up being really good. It tasted like an elevated lemonade and was probably one of my favorite parts of the meal. Started with the rolls and whipped honey butter which were delicious. Very soft, warm, and honestly dangerous because I could've just kept eating bread all night. For the main meal, I did the Wagyu Burger with Parmesan fries. The burger itself was okay but surprisingly didn't have a ton of flavor outside of the grilled/charred taste. The Parmesan fries were actually the standout for me -- hand cut fries and parmesan fries are just hard to mess up. My partner tried the Mushroom Soup en Croute and wasn't a fan because the mushrooms were blended and he said it lacked flavor. He also had a Steak Taco special using their medallion steak and said even with lime it still needed more flavor. Finished with Crème Brûlée which is always a classic favorite for me and this one was good. Overall: fun experience, cool hidden entrance, great decor, good mocktail and bread, but the actual food menu is pretty limited and the flavors didn't totally wow me for the price. Glad I went and finally crossed it off my list, but probably a one-and-done visit for me.

My first thought was holy bottles! There's tons and tons of bottles up and down the walls. The space is also smaller than expected, but we went in at 3PM as a party of 4 on a Sunday and had no problem getting seated. I ordered the Lost Footage and it was delicious (and strong!!). It came in a flask inside of a VHS case which was fun. I then got to pour it into my glass. Other members of my group got The Red Wedding, Pity Party, and To Your Health. My spouse and I shared the strip steak and the wedge salad, which we enjoyed. I would like to see some more food options in the future, especially since I'm already pretty limited due to a gluten allergy. However, I am excited to come back.
