The happy hour was honestly amazing -- the seafood tower, crispy rice shrimp, and calamari were all delicious, and the atmosphere by the water made it even better. It's pretty busy around 1 PM on a Sunday, but we got seated within about 10 minutes at a booth. The children's menu is good with the usual favorites for kids. Their burgers looked great! Real cheddar cheese. Their meals came with fresh vegetables to start and had ice cream sundaes to finish and included a drink. We started with a cup of seafood chowder and it was really tasty. WildFin in Issaquah never disappoints. We had fantastic service from Dane, very friendly, engaging, and right on top of everything from the moment we sat down. It was a quieter evening, though the bar was pretty full. We found a table easily, and Dane was at our table immediately. I had the fish and chips, which were abundant and very flavorful. My wife ordered the seared Aji appetizer, and it was excellent. We also had a glass of wine and a beer, both were very good and paired perfectly with our food. Visited this place with my sisters. The menu had just enough options for everyone. Our server Nick was super nice and helpful. He recommended the salmon dish which came with potatoes and asparagus. It was so delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly medium. The asparagus had a nice crunch. Sure the prices are high but seafood is t and shouldn't be cheap. You get what you pay for. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants in Issaquah. Unfortunately, our most recent visit will probably be our last. Our server took quite awhile to take our order once our whole group had arrived. Then our food took over 45 minutes to come out. We were sitting by the kitchen, and they were definitely pumping out food, but so many dishes sat under the warmers for a really, really long time waiting to be picked up. When we finally did get our food it was just fair. My favorite dish, which is the steak salad, was so disappointing. The steak was undercooked (I asked for medium, and it came out very rare), the romaine was not fresh, and the dish as a whole just wasn't the same. Great happy hour menu. Happy Friday, solid spot to sit at the bar and enjoy a treat. I love that they have non fried options on the menu. I had the creamy garlic artichoke shrimp. The price point wasn't great for what we received but other than that, it checks a lot of boxes if you like that quintessential American steak house food with a slightly hipster styling. My girlfriend and I stopped into WildFin for lunch after a bit of shopping. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. During our visit, we sat in the lounge. WildFin offers a decent selection of local craft beer. My girlfriend slurped on a couple Mac & Jack's for $7.95 each. I slurped on the WildFin IPA for $7.95 each. We shared the Rosemary Potato Bread for $6.95: served with sweet fig butter and chive butter. Both compound butters were tasty; however, the chive was my favorite of the two. We shared the Calamari for $16.95: served with sliced jalapeno and jalapeno lime aioli. My girlfriend enjoyed this dish while I didn't care for it. The calamari were lukewarm and on the tough side. The jalapenos were delicious. Lastly, we shared the Seared Ahi Salad for $25.95: sesame crusted yellowfin, wasabi ginger dressing, arugula, red onion, radish, edamame, daikon sprouts, macadamia nuts, bean sprouts, wontons and cilantro. I ate at this location and ordered the pork chop. It came out so overdone and dry it was in edible. They offered to cook another one but by the time it came out I was done with all my sides so I opted to take it home. I just cut into it and it was completely raw inside. After a few bumps in the road this place now excels at what they do! Yesterday we were warmly greeted and immediately seated. Our wait person couldn't have been any nicer and she knew the menu well. She informed us of the current specials and knew the answers to our questions. My wife ordered what we had last time the crusted sole. It arrived perfectly cooked as before and she loved it. Outstanding food and service! We were referred to this restaurant from our hotel where I was staying for business. I started with their Chowder which was outstanding, and my associate had their Beets & Burrata starer. Both very good. Dinner was their Parmesan Crusted Sole, which the Hostess recommended, and our dinner was their Salmon. Again, both were outstanding. This Wildfin has great seafood dishes and attentive service. We came on a Sunday right when it opened. Our server, Nick, was awesome and very knowledgeable about the dishes. We ordered the appetizer tower. The shrimp were succulent and the calamari was cooked perfectly. The mayo garlic sauces were delicious. There were jalapeño coins in the calamari, which added the perfect amount of spiciness. I did not like the smoked salmon dip because there were too many capers and olives in it, which made it taste too pickled and salty. We ordered some rosemary bread that came with a sweet apricot butter and a savory butter. It was delicious, but very heavy. For entrees we had a side of seafood chowder, shrimp with angel hair pasta, and fish tacos. All were good. We took the leftovers home to eat later. When we took our leftovers out the fridge, the shrimp pasta and seafood chowder were a stiff due to the amount of butter. Of course it was butter because it tasted soooo good! When I warmed it up, the butter and cream separated, which revealed really how much butter there was in the dish. If you are worried about your cholesterol, do not order this, lol. Excited to introduce me to their fave seafood restaurant, my friend invited me to dinner with her family and it was such a great time. There was a baby in our party and I was floored at how well they handled everything including getting a rush order on the baby's food. Now let's talk food. - The rosemary potato bread with the fig and herbed butters were gone in an instant. That's how good they were. The fig butter was my jam ;) - You might not think about ordering calamari at a nice seafood place but you definitely should. It's probably the best calamari that I've ever had. The outside is crispy but inside is so soft and tender, and pair it with the sauce - *chef's kiss* - I had the rockfish seafood salad which was such an interesting concept. The seafood salad was like a pico de gallo with mini shrimp and crab. So refreshing. The fish while cooked to the perfect doneness was a bit salty for me. (This almost made me put three stars but the rest of the food was great). - the Parmesan crusted sole was delicious. I think it was the best fish at the table. - The kids menu is such a good deal.
