[[HIGHLIGHT]]A nice friendly neighborhood joint with a warm and cozy vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Made an impromptu stopover at Blazing Onion for a dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Liked the overall vibe of the place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The front desk staff lady was very friendly. We had some yummy crispy cauliflower, mozzarella sticks, salad and a grilled cheese with Cajun fries. Everything was fresh and delicious. Cajun fries and crispy cauliflower with spicy Sriracha aioli were supremely yummy; the mozzarella sticks were a big hit with my kids. We will definitely come back to try more.

Great place to get burgers, I was able to share one with my mom. Good service and fries. I'd come back!

I have a gift card for this chain and unfortunately the closest one to me closed down so it has just been sitting in my wallet for almost two years. Luckily, we had an opportunity to stay at Issaquah and there is a Blazing Onion Burger Company at Newcastle! We decided to make this our dinner the day we arrived at the hotel as we just wanted to get settled in our hotel and get ready for a long stay. One thing I do remember about Blazing Onion is that they make you order and pay first or leave your tab open. I see why they do that but it also makes it hard for indecisive people, especially when there are people coming in and also people who want to pay for their meal. We were able to figure out our order which was a wildberry handshaken iced tea, blazing chicken wings (half mango habenero dry rub and half BBQ sauce) mushroom melt burger, and teriyaki swiss chicken. However, as we ordered, the cashier had trouble hearing my drink despite me speaking loud enough and I repeated it to her several times before the final transcation. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were given a little number card and told to pick wherever we wanted to sit. We picked a small table in the corner near the window so we can keep an eye on our dogs but saw there wasn't a little stand that also had a call button.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We took one from the table next to us and waited to receive our waters and my iced tea. I wasn't sure if we were supposed to get it ourselves as I saw some people do it but I saw employees moving around that area and didn't want to cause trouble. After several minutes of waiting, I received my iced tea but it tasted off and I just saw bits of raspberry rather than wild berries and tasted tart like lemonade. You get one free refill and it was then when I brought my drink to the bar that I received a raspberry lemonade so the cashier heard me wrong. Luckily the bartender was more than happy to make me what I actually ordered and it tasted divine and refreshing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is very spacious with TVs playing different sports or shows. The bar is located in the far back and the bathrooms are located at the entrance (very clean and organized).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The tables and booths seemed pretty clean but there were some sticky spots.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was also unfortunate that the table next to us had unruly children stepping on the booth seats cause they were to lazy to get up and let their siblings get back to their seats. I truly hope that employees clean the booths here as that was hard to watch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We received our food after another several minutes and it was really tasty! The burgers were cooked to perfection and the fries were seasoned very well. The chicken wings were juicy, big and the flavors from the dry rub and sauce was amazing. My sandwich did start falling apart and became mushy after a few bites though which is unfortunate as I am a slow eater. We got checked on maybe one time and it was close to the end so it is really hard to rate service as there was a lack of service. The bartender and the person who delivered my drink was very kind and helpful while the cashier/waitress we had didn't have any customer service skills. I would be more lenient if it was busy but it wasn't really too busy. We came in at a good time where most of the people received their orders and were just chatting or paying. Yet despite this, we didn't even really get to enjoy the full experience of dining here especially their endless fries cause no one would really come to tables unless it was vacated. I will have to say this is the last time I go to Blazing Onion as the structure of how they run their business seems odd and it seems like service is all over the place. The food and drinks are great though but I can't justify the long wait for just slightly average food that is also pretty pricey. You're better off at a Red Robin to get slightly cheaper, better service, unlimited refills on drinks and fries or other sides.

I have been wanting to try this place since I enjoy the Frosty Barrel next door. My husband has been to the Tacoma location before and said it was good, so I set a date and time and we went. I ordered the Texas Heat burger and added grilled onions with a side of tater tots. The burger was great and the tater tots were delicious; extra crispy but still soft on the inside and seasoned. Overall, everything we enjoyed was seasoned just right! We started with the wings and go the mango habanero dry rub. I hate to say best wings I have ever had, but they were certainly a contender for that title. Good flavor, plenty of salt, crunchy, and good portions. I really like their blue cheese dipping sauce/dressing. Good flavor, texture, and overall great. My husband also got a burger but had the Cajun fries as a side. They were well seasoned and delicious. Our other dining partner got the Steak Salad, which he said he liked. The steak looked good and certainly cooked as requested. On this particular evening, they seemed to be understaffed or exceptionally busy for a Monday. Our waitress was also the bartender because we were encouraged to sit in the bar. She did her best, but clearly was running around and had a lot to do. Overall, highly recommend this place! I am glad there is one closer (in Tacoma).

Amazing burgers with unlimited fries! Good selection of beers and drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Welcoming ambiance and service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I guess the sauce comes out of their paycheck

I guess the sauce comes out of their paycheck the way the employees skimp on sauce. Ordered onion petals that were just ok - Paid an extra $0.35 for more sauce and had to go back because we got a singular 1/3 full tiny cup of sauce. Did not even get the first cup of sauce filled, let alone the extra we paid for. Drove back. Asked for more. Got 3 more 1/3 filled cups then walked to the kitchen area myself to ask for more because what?? I asked if they give 0.3 oz of sauce to dine in tables and mgr said yes, that's a portion. Whoever pours those sauces must love the blazing onion more than the blazing onion loves them, or get a pay deduction if they fill a sauce cup fully like a normal person.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Blazing Onion is a solid lunch spot, especially if you grab a seat on the patio by the fire pit--it adds a cozy touch even on chillier days.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started with pickle chips and Blazing Onion petals for the table, and both were crispy, shareable hits. I split a burger loaded with bacon and grilled onions, plus a side of tots, with my lunch date. Juicy, flavorful, and totally satisfying. The Blueberry Lime Splash was light, tangy, and super refreshing--a great non-boozy option. Friendly service and a laid-back vibe. We'll definitely be back for another round.

Do the burgers come with fries, or do you have to order them separately?

They come with fries or cole slaw... and you can pay a little more for a ton of other stuff (like onion rings, soup, salad, etc).

The Food: Arepitas Fritas, $17 - 5+ Stars Four mini arepa in the appetizer section, these start with the same cornmeal (masa de maíz) base as the normal arepa, then topped with cheese, slow cooked beef, quail egg, and pink sauce. These bites are sooooo good! They sell the full-size arepas also, which will likely be a future meal. :) Platanos Fritos, $8 - 5 Stars Gotta love Latin foods with their plantains. Simple and delicious. Theirs are perfectly prepared. Camarones de Ajillo, $19 - 3.5 Stars These shrimps are cooked in garlic, herbs, and cream. The herb butter sauce is excellent, but the shrimps' quality is just ok. We liked it enough but will not order again. Asado Negro Tips, $23 - 3.5 Stars 8 oz of NY strip are cooked cubed in asado sauce, served with yuca fries and quasaca, a mini tomato and avocado salad. Sat at the bar and tried out some happy hour specials. Got the Korean sauce wings ($12) and cheese truffle fries ($8). Decent amount of fries, definitely has cheese flavor but not that much truffle oil aroma. I liked the wings which you get 6 per order. They weren't fried, but rather tender and juicy. Tasted refreshing although could feel the alcohol afterwards. Also tried a corpse reviver no. 2, which was a little sweet but has a punch. Cocktail prices are not cheap outside of happy hour, in the upper teens. Overall, was glad I tried the place out. Will drop by for happy hour once in a while.

Service is just unbelievably sweet and friendly and they clearly know their way around a drink menu. In long Not what you'd expect in Snohomish, and that's very much to its credit. It's a nondescript little building with no signage at all. You can probably roll a wheelchair in over the transom, though the sidewalk is a little slopy here. You open the door, push aside the curtain, and wait for your eyes to adjust. Super dim inside. The bar is right across from the door, flanked by 2 seating areas. Antique furniture and wall art, going for that 1920s look and doing it very well--while also keeping it comfortable for long sits. The crowd isn't trying to match the period clothing or anything, it's just a bunch of fun younger Snohomies hanging out and drinking cocktails. The bartender hands you a menu of a dozen and a half cocktails, mostly vintage, vintage-sounding, or using vintage ingredients or techniques (e.g., 3 different offerings with egg whites). Prices are fair enough, and they bring out your drink when it's ready. Vintage-looking glassware--cool! There's another big room past the bar, lots of Edison bulbs here and there, but not so many as to create even a hint of glare anywhere. There's a washroom in the far corner, definitely big enough to be accessible. Now I can't remember whether there were grab bars. The ceilings in here are all different heights, most covered with pressed tin. Nice effect. There's one window that hasn't been covered, so a little natural light gets in. It was kind of fun trying to imagine what kinds of businesses might have been in here before it became a speakeasy. There's a staircase to a small loft office space. Overall, if you're antique shopping or just out and about in Snoho, this is a good stop and you should check it out at least once. Really nice vibe.
