I've been wanting to try this place out for quite a while now and finally checked it off my list. The first time I came here is during our ladies night out. To be honest, I didn't really paid much attention to their menu and offerings as we were so busy chatting and savoring our strong drinks :) But we get to meet the owner as he made his rounds around each table. Anyway, just last week we came back here to celebrate my birthday with my family. This time I browsed through their menu and really looked over what they have to offer. We started out with their pretzel and golly this one is a win for me. It's salty yet soft and chewy at the same time and the cheese dip it came with matched perfectly. We also got the panchos nachos to share with the whole table. It's a nice pairings of fried calamari in a light and crispy batter and nachos that's drizzled with lemon pepper aioli and cheese sauce. These two dishes was wiped clean in no time. For our main dish, I got the braised short ribs in tomato cabernet demi glace with side of white cheddar mashed potato and green beans. The beef was so tender that it easily flakes of with my fork. The glace was both tart and sweet and mix with my mashed potato and green beans was a delight in my mouth. We also had the flaming ribeye, It's a literal set on fire ribeye right in front of you. The 151 rum it's set on fire with added a char glace over the steak but you won't get a strong taste the rum which is a plus for my husband. New York steak which we ordered medium rare was also a delight. It's cooked the way my son wanted it and the balsamic glace added a nice tart with the saltiness of the steak seasoning. They have big portions and they I like that they don't skimp on their ingredients so you really get your money's worth. I totally forgot our servers name, but she was very attentive and friendly and made sure our drinks were refilled even before it was halfway done. The atmosphere were casual, family friendly, and welcoming especially with big party crowd. It would also be nice if they have more pasta/noodle options in their menu (but I guess it's just me and my noods obsession). Definitely going to be a repeat customer here. read more

Came during lunch time. It was not busy at all. The interior design was very modern and appropriate for the name. There were fire decor around the restaurant which was nice. Our server was incredibly friendlu and attentive. She always checked in on us and amde sure we got everything we needed. I ordered the Caesar salad with added grilled chicken. The salad was good, but the portion size was kind of small. I also added grilled chicken, also very good. The only thing that took me back was the price to add chicken was the same price as the whole salad. Didn't understand that. 4/5 for the salad but not worth the price. My second trip here did not disappoint. We arrived and were greeted by the friendly host who escorted us back to our booth seating. Our waitress, Mary, was fantastic and is on her "A " game. This trip we enjoyed the spicy chicken sandwich and the mushroom chicken risotto which both came out quick and hot. Both plates were delicious and Mary was very attentive. decided to check this place out while we were heading back to the Bay Area as we were looking for a steakhouse. this was one of the only couple restaurants that popped up highlighting their steak menu since there are not that many around modesto area. it kind of reminded me of Yardhouse with a texas roadhouse ambiance lol. we ordered a couple appetizers and they were all great. highly recommend the mussels! the steak was most definitely juicy. we came during a busy time with almost a 45-1 hour wait, but got seated around 30 minutes of waiting. our food was served pretty fast after ordering, which was quite fortunate since my party of 4 was starving after a long roadtrip. read more

This place is great, our bartender Sabrina was amazing, she made us feel welcome and laugh. Great service is key in 2025 to having a good place to dine and get a drink. Overall the bar area is dark with a bit more light by tables, doesn't get too terribly loud, and the food was good. I got Pacos Tacos and considering we were dining in the city with the best Mexican food in the world, it was surprising the tacos were as good as they were considering this place isn't necessarily a Mexican restaurant. The rack of lamb was good, cooked well, and just the right amount of seasoning. They had TV's set up around the restaurant which allowed us to watch the Sunday night football game. This place was packed when I came here for a date night. It's super loud in there so it could be hard to have a conversation. The service was very fast and friendly and we got seated right away. We ordered fries to start off and that was good - it had a nice crisp and came out piping hot. The rack of lamb was good as well. The portion was huge, the flavor was good, and it was cooked medium rare like I asked. The chocolate cake was disappointing however. We ended up having a few bites and leaving the rest. It came with a small amount of veggies and about 4 potato's. We were not impressed at all and left really bummed. Road house is a third of the price and the wings and steak are full of flavor. Brought my mother and step dad here for his birthday. Ordered wings as an appetizer, she ordered the salmon, he ordered the rack of lamb medium rare, I ordered the ny steak medium rare. Our server didn't really care about us or show any interest in our table nor did he have any manners. Our food came and everyones food was made properly except mine. My steak came extremely overcooked, but since our server was MIA he didn't catch it until they were almost done with their food. I sat there and didn't get to enjoy a meal with my parents who I brought out to eat... The manager came to the table to apologize and said he took the steak off the bill then offered to get me something to go, or a dessert. I declined. I didn't come here to take food home to eat alone while it's semi cold, I came here to eat a warm meal with my family. I paid the $123 tab and left the crappy server a $20 cash tip. We had an Anniversary celebration and was trying to find an establishment in the area without happen to travel to the Bay Area every time and I look and looked until I decide to try Wildfire. Called and made reservation and my request was oblige due to the fact it was the day before Mother's Day. A very beautiful and classic Pub House and bar, and yes, right here in city of Modesto. We arrived earlier than our actual reservation time, but they still seated us right away. We choose to sit out on the beautiful, arranged patio. I did notice the tables and booths inside were also comfy and intimate away from the bar, so if we had to sit inside, I would have been just as pleased. I was walking by, and the food looks great that was severed. They have a lot of appetizers and small plates choices, the steak selections are very good, some seafood selections, our server also accepted the Yelp check-in appetizer for a pretzel, which was delicious! The cost of the pretzel was $15 alone. Appetizers: Salmon Crab cakes was flavorful and meaty Pepperoni pizza / half combo Pretzel Bacon Mac n Cheese Ahi Tuna Tower was my favorite ......... Entrees: Dry-aged flaming ribeye, with house made steak sauce: the cut was very juicy, fatty and tender, perfect medium well more on the medium side, which was perfect. Drinks: Spice Of Life was amazing with the right amount of heat. Moscato The food was delicious along with a beautiful presentation, our server was extremely friendly, made sure everything was perfect and Michael the owner stopped by our table to check on us, I remind you we were outside, I thought that was a touch of class.
