Mead flight. Loved three of the four I order.
    Myranda K.

I tried the mead flight and really enjoyed three of the four. It was my first time trying mead and I like it, somewhat reminded me of cider. The building and porch are super cute. It's an easy drive from Bryan College Station. Worth a visit.

Fun place to taste some Mead of different places! Next to the honey place which makes it a lot of things to do! Some great flavors and nice seating area!

We'll never have I ever tried mead. But it was lyfeeee changing. I ordered a flight and the Jalapeño was BOMB. The service was great, we were given detailed info on how the mead was made. This is in a bee farm so the ambiance is outdoorsy middle of no where hip vibe. My kids got to hold some drone bees too!

Wonderful spot in the true Texan countryside. A wide variety of mead flavors and some of the best mead I had. Love the area and the options to stay on property, but local honey, and enjoy a tour around the facility is amazing! Service was good and we bonded over a shared names. This place was beautiful, colorful and would love to come back.

Thanks to Mister Michael Berry Show!, we drove two and a half hours all the way from Alvin, TX., I have tried several other Mead options and Wildflyer Mead Co. is by far one of the best!, you can taste on each of their samples everything is made with a lot of LOVE!, you have now a big fan and sponsor of your lovely business!!, I wish I could have you closer home .. We need more Mead in our life!!!..

meaning! Super excited! Saw them on TV and came the next day. We got flights of all flavors and let me say incredible flavors and a great concept! They are set up with entertainment food and little cabin tents to stay in. On top of the flights we got a glass to go and bought 4 bottles. Wasnt quit the Texas welcome!!!

A much meaded break in the work week!

I love the eclectic, every changing grounds and the clean welcoming aesthetic of their serving building. It reminds me of Austin area breweries and distilleries and feels relaxing. Their meads are non-traditional but delicious. I appreciate that despite their flavors names, nothing is artificially candied in flavor. Good taste, wonderful conversation and a little Science on the walls goes a long way towards making me want to come back again and again.

Incredible experience. We did the Hive & Mead tour with Jeff (book in advance but call if you want a different time and did a special morning session for us). The Mead tasting led to the following 1. SO MUCH FUN! 2. The purchase of 8-10 crowlers (cans that are the size of growlers) 3. A new found love of Mead This is a must do -- we were visiting the area with Getaway and I was disappointed that this was not a recommended stop. IT SHOULD BE YOUR ONLY STOP!!

    A great Mead.

I LOVE this place. Very close to Bryan. The staff. The vibe. All things Bee-Tastic. Simply great.

Outstanding mead and great location. I normally am not a fan but the flavors and body of the meads were definitely worth the visit.

They have a spacious porch and lawn, and COVID precautions were being taken seriously from what I saw.

So i walked up to the bar and again was never acknowledged..... I know i was seen but ignored. I think he was more focused on the people that were at the bar. Or he just didn't want to be there. He worked slow and moved like he was in no rush. Not what you should see at a this kind of establishment. Went back and sat down for another 5 mins and after 15mins with nobody giving any care that we were there. We got up and left. The establishment was beautiful and seemed like a awesome place to have a drink. But that didn't happen. Can't recommend this place

They also have a nice selection of board games to play while you're hanging out there. The bartender/server briefly went down the menu and explained that the mead was made from honey, hence the bee motifs. After tasting several different kinds (from the flight), I settled on hibiscus as my favorite. There is a varying range of sweetness, and the hibiscus was definitely on the sweeter side, but I was in the sweet mood. I also really enjoyed resting beach face, which is a lot less sweet but has all the fruity notes. If you've never tried mead, it's worth heading on over here and giving the Ferm Meadery a try!

However, I've lived in this area a long time and had no idea about the place until I visited Galveston Brewery recently and the server there mentioned Celtic Cross mead. Honestly it is not all that difficult to locate and once you see it, you see it and think "Oh! There it is!" It's cozy, homey, and welcoming. I'm glad I read Yelp reviews and such to learn this place was a little difficult to find but totally worth the effort. They were correct. But find it we did. Brandi and a couple at the bar welcomed us in. Brandi guided us through the various flavors of mead so we could decide what we liked. What a fantastic range of flavors and I feel I now know a lot more about mead. I tried their 4 serving flight of my favs. My son tried a class of each of his favorites. Their non-alcoholic mead was so refreshing that I would like an entire glass of that next time. I feel there is a flavor for everyone's taste and would be surprised if one could not find their favorite. The only way not to find your fav is the inability to chose from their selections. The only other mead I have ever tasted was at Bunratty castle in Ireland back in the day. Celtic Cross' mead is so much better. This place was fun and we cannot wait to come back.
