I have bought more vehicles and toys than I can count over the years, from tons of dealerships, and I can honestly say I have NEVER seen any auto, boat, bike, or other dealership that even comes remotely close to Wilkins and their staff. People are what make an organization, and Wilkins employs the absolute finest. It is evident they all love what they do. From my first phone call to ask about a test ride, to when I walked in the dealership, I was enthusiastically greeted and introduced all around. I instantly felt like I belonged there. Luke was excellent to work with, and the entire sales process was zero pressure. The nice touch was that the GM insists on personally giving you the overview of your new ride, explains all features, and gives you his personal cell number if you have questions. Could I have saved a few bucks buying from somewhere else that sacrifices service for bare bones cost? Probably. Will I sleep like an baby knowing I bought a quality product from a gem of a dealership that treats their customers like close family and will be there for me any time I have a question? Absolutely. While this is disappointing to have to come on and say this, I had a very terrible first experience with these guys and after a family member that is currently going through them convinced me to give them a second chance I went back removed my old review and gave it another go And here I am once again leaving a One star review the experience has been so bad that I'm being treated as though I'm a criminal trying to buy a 20 year old bike and it has gone so far as to where Wilkins has done something fraudulently and I have had to report them not only to their financial division i've gone and filed a report to Trans Union and it's looking like I'm going to have to file a police report as well. I'm sure some of the people that work. There are very nice people, but the way the business is run and how they do business as a whole is not a place I would ever recommend to anybody if you're in Vermont maybe it's your best option but as for the rest of New England, you can find much better places to go and I encourage you to do so. Recently while visiting Barre VT. my 2021 Sreetglide's front fender was severely damaged by a hit and run driver rendering the bike unrideable. one call to wilkins harley davidson and 15 minutes later two service tech guys arrived, pulled the fender off the tire so i could ride it back to the dealer where the guys brought it right in and removed the fender and did an excellent job of straightening it so that i could ride it 21/2 hours home! my wife and i are very impressed with wilkins Hd !!! wilkens harley davidson has earned a customer for life!! I just have to say from the moment I contacted them I got a call back from one of the co-owners on a day when they weren't open. Never felt rushed off the phone he talked with me answered all my questions as I was upgrading from my sportster 1200. I had a Dyna super glide and sold that bike was looking for some thing bigger to take longer trips. The team at Wilkins we're all happy to answer any of my questions any time I called even when I got different people on the phone it was genuine and real. I live in the Hudson valley almost 5 hours away and I drove all the way up there to pick up my bike. When I got there I was greeted by almost every person in every department all of which were truly psyched for my new purchase. I've been in many Harley dealerships and this by far was the most friendly most genuine team of people. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good bike and a great team. I live almost 250 miles away and will be driving that distance when my bike needs service that's how great I felt about their team. I can't say enough about this family run business that was started by one of the owner's grandfather. It's so rare these days to have a business that's like this. Most places if you're not spending over $25,000 they walk away and barely give you the time of day. You could walk into their shop just to buy a T-shirt and they would still treat you the same. I'm old-school and loyalty and treating people well no matter who they are is some thing to be valued. I was going to take my bike home that day but unfortunately a snow storm hit the area and with no hesitation they offered to keep my trailer and my bike as long as I needed until I could get back to pick it up. And I also think their service that they offer of delivering the bike for you frankly at a price that is purely out of wanting good business and trying to help their customers. I would buy another bike from them in a second and will do the rest of my business owning Harleys with them because of it. Honestly it's because of the way I was treated that I drove the distance that I did and bought the bike that I did. So thrilled about my new Road King can't wait to get out there and ride. I was recently traveling through Vermont on a Saturday when my front wheel bearings started growling. I called Wilkins Harley Davidson and explained my situation to a young lady that answered the phone. She put me in touch with John, one of the owners who verified they had the parts and said to bring it right down. When I arrived at the Dealership it was very busy, John was the first person I ran into. He took me over to the service area and introduced me to OB, who got the ball rolling on repairing my bike. Next a gentleman named Mark introduced himself to me, he knew my story from John and asked if there was anything he could do to help me, water, coffee and even offered me a loaner car to grab some lunch. Dan Stevens was my technician, who took the time to show me the bad wheel bearings. Walked in to talk about trading a few old bikes. I was treated super nice while I was there. As soon as I left I never heard from them again (even though they said "they would be touching base with me" to talk about options the following week. They stopped paying any attention to me the minute they realized I wasn't looking at the brand new inventory. Also most of their bikes are marked well above msrp. If they wanted a sale they would have reached out to me. Bad customer service after they realized I wasn't dropping 30 grand. Just head to green mountain hd if your looking.
