We needed our Dryer vent cleaned ASAP as the dryers LCD displayed stern warning. We called around the big names in the duct cleaning but they came with equally big ticket prices and pretty lengthy wait period, not to mention that some even fancied to send someone to estimate job first and we would have been charged the visit regardless of accepting or declining the service. The final price was mostly in the dark and if quoted, they went upwards of 400 dollars. Ruben at Amazon Air Duct Cleaning not only provided instant solid flat fee quote but also promised that there will be no hidden or extra charges like some of those horror stories we read about in some companies review - people being charged extra per duct footage at will or for cleaning the company equipment if there was a bird nest in the duct entry and some such. Amazon managed to schedule us for immediate cleaning on the day and at the time that worked for us. On the day of the service Michael from the Amazon Duct Cleaning appeared in front of our house in a brand new sparkling clean company Mercedes Van few minutes before the schedule time and had all his stuff ready in time for the appointment when he announced himself with Swiss watch precession!! Michael was super friendly and very organized, he exhibited extreme care for our property and all the equipment he brought with him was very clean and very well organized. His overall image from the tool box and the brushes and the big mighty vacuum down to his fancy Amazon logo company shirt projected confidence and trust that did not fail us. Michael worked swiftly and with great expertise. He was able to easily move the heavy dryer, and access all the necessary connections and spaces and places. He was flying between inside machinery and outside vent checking and monitoring the progress like an eagle! Turned that our vent had some hick up and was not cooperating but Michael made it to cooperate by using some tricks of the trade and in no time the flap on the outside started working again and breathing the fresh vent air. It was true joy to see a professionalism of that level in action! Such a dedication and craftsmanship that you don't see these days that often. We are truly grateful to Ruben who sent us Michael with all his talents and who preformed the job with German precision! Our dryer works now like a charm, the drying time is back to where it was from about twice as long, the message does not appear anymore and the confidence with using the machine knowing that it is safe to use the dryer without the risk of a fire hazard is priceless! Our home has exterior cameras and after the washing, condensation was visible on screen. I notified Andres and he came back to my home and resolved the issue (the cameras lacked a waterproof gasket). The structure is "old", 12-inch reveal, ALUMINUM, cedar-shake looking siding. There are also wood porches, baluster railings, brick chimneys, and many windows. The work took the better part of a day. Andres cleaned everything extremely well with a warm water cleaning solution, and a mix of low and high pressure rinses. Washing was done with his water supply. This was good for us since we are on a well. Windows were mopped and squeegee'd. Lower windows were wiped with microfiber cloth. Porch roofs and floors were also cleaned, and a small patio and the sidewalks too--really everything around the house was done! Mildew was gone from shady places and the porches are again paint-ready. It's been several weeks and there are no--zero--casualties among flowers, herbs, plants or grasses that were drenched in the process. Andres was courteous, worked all the time, and answered questions readily. He did not rush the job. His washing equipment and vehicle appeared well-maintained with no problems during the job. Supplies and consumable cleaning tools looked new; certainly not worn-out, frayed or dirty. We were given a written proposal, and no deposit was needed. Calls were returned. The work began and was completed on schedule as promised. The estimate was very reasonable and competitive. Call other companies for comparison, but do call Baltimore PressureWashers for a proposal.
