I mostly brew locally roasted "third wave" coffee beans at home (French press) for my daily coffee, but it's always nice to have a good drive-thru espresso stand nearby in case of emergency.

In my opinion the original recipe is nauseatingly sweet. I also get oatmilk vs the standard whole milk. Today I ordered my usual on the Starbucks app for pickup through the drive thru at 11:40 am. My order said it would be ready by 11:48 am. I was first in line in the drive thru but ended up not receiving my order until 11:59. The barista was very nice but I've never had to wait that long, unless there was a long line. My drink was mediocre and definitely tasted much sweeter than usual. Not sure what happened today but I understand there are occasional off days.

A car in front of us was ordering, taking drinks, handing them back, questioning and taking forever to be satisfied with her drinks. When it came time for our turn we ordered then waited. The wrong size drink was given to us plus it was filled up so high to the top of the cup that my drink spilt all over my pant when it was handed to me. The person at the window offered to dump some of the coffee out, but at that point, we were so tired of waiting. We just told her to keep them and we drove off. If a customer orders so many drinks that it is going to affect the whole line, which was at least 10 people behind uu, If not more, then they should be asked to park in the front of the store and someone will bring the drinks out to them. This was so frustrating for us and for all the people in line in back of us.

For these reasons I usually avoid Starbucks locations associated with Fred Meyer. I've had wonderful service here, everyone has been super kind, flexible with awkward drink orders, even when my order is said out of order. There are a few baristas that enjoy making the drinks extra aesthetically pleasing, and others that stick to the basics. Whichever way the barista rolls the end taste is consistent, and consistently good. The location is clean, and welcoming. My only small complaint is it often takes longer for drinks to be made. This of course depends on who is making the drinks, and how pretty the drink comes out. But, I'm willing to wait an extra few minutes if it's consistent, and sometimes a little extra pleasing on the eyes.

When I went in and asked, the guy working rudely said he could not do it because it was not Starbucks beans. I still proceeded to buy two drinks. I was also continued to be treated rudely as he gave me my drinks, and forgot the necessary straws, and then made me wait for him to make someone else's drinks, before he was able to hand me two straws, which all were stored behind the counter where I was unable to reach.

You order at the counter, and they bring you your food at a table, or if it's coffee and sweets you get it there and then. Everyone in B's Bake Shoppe was friendly and greeted me with kindness, and a smile. They were extremely willing to ensure I felt welcome, even when flopping my latte order around as my eyes scanned over a delicious sounding special! My iced latte was delicious. I love trying new flavor combinations and the honey cardamon is a win. It has the sweetness, but a stronger bitter taste. This hit the spot for the day. The chocolate fudge brownie is RICH. It's creamy, dense, and tasty! 2 bits is all I could manage, and would definitely share this with friends/family when I bring them with me. The London Fog Macaroon tasted as though it had been in a freezer or fridge open air. It was subtle, but there. As a dessert I don't regularly have I can't say exactly if I'm just not understanding the flavor. I also found this one more crunchy than others that I've had. Past macaroons have been light and fluffy, but somewhat brittle. These were more dense, and crumbled under the first bite. The Turkey Pesto BLT tastes delicious! The greens overwhelmed the flavor at first, and as a personal preference could do with a little less L. But, it is a bLt, so I asked for lettuce ! Overall a delicious sandwich!
