Every year, Cindy's goes out of their way to support the local fundraising event and this year, they raffled off a gorgeous quilt and sold these huge cinnamon rolls, giving 100% of the proceeds to STL. I ordered a breakfast burrito made with taco meat, cheese, hash browns, sour cream, and salsa, with a side of fresh fruit (cantaloupe, watermelon & grapes). The burrito was so big I had to bring my cinnamon roll home to eat later. We did decided to stop in at Cindy's, having decided to take a more scenic way home rather than I-5. What a gem! Great menu, nice diner vibe, outstanding friendly service, and wonderful food. We shared a Cobb salad, which was delicious, and the best tuna salad sandwich I've ever had. It was perfectly toasted on a nice marble rye, with a very generous amount of tuna and other toppings. We have been for breakfast food twice and had a good experience both times. The staff does a great job: quick to attend to you and constantly around if needed. The food, while pricey, is very good. My wife is an eggs Benedict expert and they passed with flying colors. The eggs are not greasy or over-cooked. Coffee is good. I like the openess of the space and has plenty of light coming in. So me and the wife just moved here and thought we'd get some lunch and checkout the town she got a French dip and I got a club sandwich pretty standard straight forward sandwiches that should come out looking somewhat about the same anywhere you would go but not here say the club didn't have three layers like anywhere else and it had several layers of tomatoes cheddar cheese slices and fat thick stacks of sliced turkey and ham in my opinion it was to much and it was slices but wasn't broken up or folded it was like a thick half inch steak thrown on there plus I got sourdough but I have no idea what it really was it was grilled and I'm pretty sure it was the same bread that they used on my wife's French dip go figure that one a French dip on slices of sandwich bread not at all what you would expect at least we didn't and not to mention the horseradish sauce that was supposed to be on it was just cream cheese I think could taste horseradish and it was just weird on there it didn't belong or work on it at all but the worst thing of all was the soup of the day say butternut squash soup that was so thick it was like that commercial with the chili you can eat with a fork I'm serious it was like mash potatoes there was no way you could call it soup and it taste horrible no spice just squash and it was bitter say if this is what this town thinks is good food I'm gonna open a restaurant and get rich read more

If you are in Molalla you must try this place! Molalla is a cute small town with a country feel and Cindy's embodies that all the way. The decor of the place is fun and warm like you came over to your grandma's farm house for breakfast. The staff makes you feel that way too. The locals hang out here a lot and all the staff seems to know their regulars. They care about making you feel just as at home. They allow any and all modifications that they can: if they have it you can do it. This makes it easy if you have diet restrictions like vegan or vegetarian. I went there with my family, most of them are meat eaters and they got the bacon which looked really good and fresh. I was told it was yummy. My mom got the cinnamon roll french toast: yeah- home made cinnamon rolls cut in half and cooked french toast style! Delish. I got a blueberry pancake and I kid you not, it was the size of a medium pizza! It came with home made marionberry syrup that was out of this world! Update: Still five stars, and still our favorite place for breakfast or lunch in Molalla! My new favorite breakfast to have when I'm hungry is the #5 with country ham -- it's one of their monstrous and delicious buttermilk pancakes, a slice of lightly fried country ham, and two eggs. I just had it again this past Saturday for brunch after I had run 10+ miles, and it really hit the spot. Cindy has the best pancakes in Molalla! If I'm wanting lighter lunch fare, I opt for the #3 wrap with a cup of soup -- the wrap has avocado, cream cheese, lettuce, cucumber, pepper jack cheese, red onion and tomato. I stumbled upon this one by mistake, thinking that I was ordering a wrap with chicken in it -- but there is no meat in this wrap. I ate it anyway, and thought the flavors blended together so perfectly that it didn't need any meat -- the avocado, cream cheese, and pepper jack all provide a heartiness to this wrap that you wouldn't expect; and a cup of soup is the perfect compliment. My 9-y.o. daughter wanted me to also mention her favorite dish from Cindy's. Since they serve breakfast all day, she can get it until closing (3:00). She always orders the kids pancake (which is shaped like a mouse, or maybe it's a bear), one piece of bacon, and one scrambled egg. She always gets hot chocolate, too. This is her favorite meal ANYWHERE! I still think some classic country & western music playing softly in the background would be nice, but that's pretty minor. Cindy's had been recommended to me by someone in my handspinning guild who lives in the area, so I checked out the Yelp reviews on it and made our decision; we were both happy with our choice. Service was very fast, and our server, Nancy, was terrific. She was extremely friendly and helpful when we were trying to decide what to eat from the varied menu. I chose a hamburger, and Hubby had a turkey wrap. We were both pleased. No white bread bun that falls apart for my burger. The bun was perfect, and stayed a bun as it should have. The meat was good, and the burger came with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and a really good sauce. Hubby loved his wrap of tortilla, turkey, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and great flavors. The restroom was spotless, which is always something I check out. The area is spacious and the tables are not crammed together. There is fun decor all over the area. Another great breakfast served at Cindy's. Arriving in Oregon from New Jersey my wife and I decided to take our daughter and her kids out to breakfast. Now, these kids are all teenagers so you can imagine the amount of food that was consumed. Went in December. The whole town is pretty strange with covid closing everything after the fires nearly burned it all down. Seems like a good spot during normal situations, the food was good but the ladies here were not very welcoming. I was visiting family in town, and noticed that everyone was a bit on edge.
