Do not like giving bad reviews but since we are visiting, giving two stars because the place was not awful and the view is spectacular but: We are visiting from Miami, and we are used to paying higher prices, however, this place did absolutely not meet the price point. We ordered the Charcuterie Board that they offer, and there was barely anything on it for being over $30, shareable for maybe 2. The Artichoke dip was good though. The wine tasting is definitely not worth $25 a person. The portions are TINY and the experience is not the same as your typical wine tasting. All orders, food and drink are placed at the bar and you have to go up to the bar for each taste (5) (instead of the typical walking around the winery and the server explaining the origin of each wine). The ambiance is not the greatest with the exception or the patio which was gorgeous. The inside is quite echoey, and is not as intimate for the price point. Overall, not very impressed and would likely not come back. :( read more

Four good friends and I had so much fun on our first wine pod experience at Willamette Valley Vineyards. Quinn was our host and he did an excellent job! After a brief cellar tour he led us to our heated pod to continue our tasting flight of five wines and charcuterie board. The food was delicious, the wine was superb and the company, well, some of my favorite people. The day of our reservation just happened to be a rare sunny December day and the sunset later was so beautiful from the patio. We all want to do it again! Highly recommended! read more

The entrance and the drive up was very pretty. You drive past all of the grapes with their respective signs so you know if they are Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, etc. And you pull into a little parking lot. There's a large oak barrel with the name where you can take a photo before entering the winery. They also have a second building for tastings or private events. They have suites you can rent as well if you want to stay onsite. The inside where the bar & restaurant is was a little warm upstairs, but cool downstairs. There was a lovely staff member to check you in and provide menus, wine selection & pairings. We found some comfy couch seating upstairs near the fireplace (off at the time due to summer), but had to walk back downstairs when ready to order as there was no server upstairs. One of our selections was the bubbly tasting consisting of bubbly brut rose and bubbly brut which was supposed to come with popcorn but they were out. We also tried the flight which was a great selection of different wines. We took some photos and enjoyed the experience! We had just eaten before we arrived so we didn't try the food, but it smelled amazing! I bought 2 bottles of wine to bring back to Charleston-the Pinot Noir & Dijon Clone Chardonnay-both seasonal. read more

We attended the Harvest Celebration Wine Pairings Dinner on September 28. The menu was 4 courses of exceptional food from ExecutiveChef DJ McIntyre, each pair with an excellent wine from the WVV Estate, and a Pambrun Cabernet Sauvignon from their Walla Walla vineyard. The combination of delicious food,exceptional wine, and great service, enjoyed with good friends, made for a perfect evening. Visited on June 3, 2023. A few of us were visiting family from out of state and were told this a wonderful place to come. The reason for the low scoring is due to bad service. We had reservations and were seated at the designated time. But we were kept waiting. About 20 minutes in they said our server would be with us shortly. No show! Finally someone came 5 minutes later to give us a free serving of wine. We still waited about 10 more minutes for our server to help us. It was not very busy. My sister-in-law had visited a couple of weeks ago on a busy Saturday and had no trouble. Beautiful surroundings and facilities but that did not make up for the bad service. read more

This winery was recommended to me by some wine industry peeps in Washington as I searched for places to visit on a trip to Oregon. I canteen begin to tell you how wonderful our visit was here, and how glad we are that we made the trip! We were visiting for a birthday as a party of 9 and booked a private tour (7 adults 2 kids). Our winery liaison Tori was so welcoming and informative on our tour and we learned so much! The whole establishment is something to behold and is a great visit if you want to get that very grandeous winery estate feeling. The wine was fantastic, and we had a lot of fun shopping in their gift shop too. We had a dinner reservation made elsewhere so my only regret is not trying out the restaurant too! We saved our overnight 6/24 visit to the Main Estate as the last Willamette Valley Vineyard stop of our epic 7-stop PNW wine adventure! To say our entire party was amazed and impressed with the tasting room, cellar, library, vineyards, production facility, wine shop--and owner suites--would be an understatement. From our arrival until our departure we were treated like VIP's and enjoyed every second of our stay. Bradley and the wonderful team of professionals at the Estate ensured we got to see and learn about so many aspects of the flagship Willamette Valley Vineyard. It was unexpected to meet Terry and appreciated the time he gave us as whole Cluster bottling was in full speed. Thank you to Emi for arranging our accommodations and the wonderful hospitality throughout our visit. As we wound down our stay, we really appreciated Spence getting us to the top of the tower to take in the incredible vineyard views. Great vineyard with very large estate. Best ever classy looking wine tasting rooms with plenty of outdoor seating for the best view of the vineyards from the top. I have seen such places in Italy while watching movies only. One of the cheapest flight of tasting wine you can get. We never paid so less in any winery. $10 for 5 classic wines or $15 for 5 pf their reserved wines. We obviously went for reserved ones. Wines taste very good but more than taste is the experience which we never got in any winery yet. We even didn't had such awesome experience in Napa valley , California. Luckily it was good season and vineyard was full with grapes. Even plucked few and tasted grapes too which was very sweet. They have their food restaurant too. We didn't ordered but food looked very good. That's what we can say from the smell atleast. Must visit place in williamette valley, Oregon. read more

I love this place you can taste five different types of wine while enjoy the views there. And you even dont need to reserve and can just drop in if you are not going to take the tour there. If you buy two bottle of wine you can have taseting fee waiver and I love the white wine very much for the fruit flavor although I know this place is famous for pinot nior. We stayed in a rental Airstream at the Into the Woods RV Park on the property and Lynn and Randy were the perfect hosts! Not only was our Airstream super clean, it was very well appointed. Lynn even left cut flowers for us to enjoy. We had a wine tasting and tour with Lucy and she was friendly, knowledgeable and super-informative. She knew so much about each wines profile and gave us an amazing flight of a few options with a lovely LOVELY desert wine to cap the night. One word: SUPERB!!! If you really want to get a feel for the wines of Willamette Valley, you MUST make a visit to this namesake winery! Their extravagant estate just might take your breath away. Visiting from California, I must say that I was a little apprehensive to come here. I wouldn't consider myself a "wine snob" per se, but I'll freely admit that California's wine country has truly spoiled me to death. Despite this, I've always been open to exploring other wine regions. Willamette Valley Vineyards has truly opened my eyes to the wonderful wines of Oregon. The estate is truly spectacular! As you drive up the hill toward the winery, you'll be met with sweeping views of their vineyards which are properly labeled by type of wine. It was so fun to see the array of different vines that are grown right on their property. The tasting room is spacious and very lively. Willamette Valley Vineyards also has a full dining room with both upstairs and downstairs seating. Their food menu is quite impressive as are their cheese and charcuterie platters and chocolate pairing selections. They have a gorgeous patio that overlooks the valley and is equipped with sofas and an adorable fireplace. Service in the tasting room is exquisite. Everyone that I encountered was extremely pleasant, including the other patrons. Tina was amazing! She really schooled me on the wines of the Willamette Valley and was so knowledgeable about their current selections. They offer a daily tasting menu for $10 and a reserve tasting menu for $15. The tastings include 5 pours and are waived with two bottle purchases. Their bottle prices are really reasonable for the quality of wine that you'll receive. If you're visiting and flying with Alaska Airlines, cases flight free of charge! I must say that I was very impressed with all of their wines. I'm used to mainly drinking Oregon Pinots, so I was shocked to find a variety of other different wines that I actually really enjoyed here. I did their reserve wine flight which features tastes of their Viognier, Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Syrah. All were very enjoyable, but their Syrah stood out the most. It had a beautiful ruby hue and featured delectable notes of dark berries and spiciness. My favorite items were actually their Pinot Blanc and their Cab Franc which wasn't on the tasting menu. Tina was sweet enough to let me have a taste and damn did they impress! I don't often see Pinot Blanc or Cab Franc produced in the wineries that I frequent, so I was overjoyed to find out that they produce them here (and they were so tasty!). This experience was so memorable and left a great lasting impression. I'm so excited to come back to their winery and to explore Willamette Valley a little more in depth in the future. read more

The venue itself has a great, open ambiance offering indoor dining but no outdoor dining when we went. The wine flights for tastings had a good variety, I actually liked some of the wines from the Daily tasting more than the Premier tasting. The food was also delicious - we ordered the crab and artichoke dip, the Mac and cheese, and the risotto which was DELICIOUS and my favorite thing. I highly recommend the risotto because of how flavorful it was - mushrooms, butternut squash, fresh corn, lemon - it was our favorite by far. Mac and cheese and artichoke dip was good too. My brother got the burger and fries and said it was very good also. My only complaint was with our host/server Leslie who unfortunately did not give us a great experience at all. Coming in, she was not welcoming and didn't give us any introduction to the winery or tasting options, didn't know what some of the food items were, and was extremely underwhelming in delivering the wine (eg: "This is the 2017 Pinot, it has notes of strawberry, *walks away*). We waited quite a while between our tastings before she came over to tell us that she wouldn't pour if the wine wasn't finished (but we had nowhere to dump the wine we didn't like), she poured the reds and whites in the same glasses, and we were left to get up from our table to ask other staff for forks, to-go boxes, and even for our pours. It was probably one of the most obscure experiences I have had at any tasting, ever. However: Stephanie, also in the tasting room was a wonderful server and host. The wines she recommended were delicious and she even helped us pick out our bonus tasting. She definitely helped to provide a wonderful experience. He walked us through the woods and into the vineyard with wine in hand. He was great at answering our questions and explaining the grape varietals and how the wine is made here. We learned so much about the winery! We also enjoyed a nice picnic charcuterie plate while over looking the valley and vines. We really enjoy going to the restaurant whenever we're in the area. The food is excellent. On our last visit, we had the salmon, the bay shrimp mac and cheese, a wagyu burger and a salad. They were all quite good. Please note that the servers don't take your order. Customers have to go to the bar to order food. Then the servers bring it out. Celebrated my 31st birthday here. And... let me tell you! It was a mixture of laughs , gorgeous views, amazing customer service. The delightful menu was packed full of flavored. With our 150$ deposit we were seated in our own reserved personal bubble. Equipped with two venting windows, a door that stays open, knowing you're surrounded by fresh air, as well as they exceed the oregon health authority on clean standards and have a state of the art light uv filtration HVAC. All in all amazing value with what they offer you. We had a two hour limit for our 4pm reservation, offered to allow us to stay longer if we wanted. Very fun experience. Highly recommend. It was actually in the 50s/60s when we went. So hopefully the weather stays nice. Definitely worth another visit just to get more photos. The place is gorgeous. Since they offer different levels of dining, spaced out seating, VIP dining etc. I doubt any dining experience is ever the same. Very memorable experience. read more

We went here for a wine tasting to cap off a week with a friend and had the most amazing time. The wines we tried were good and some very good. We ended up with a couple bottles of their 2018 pinot noir. Our server was excellent, helping us understand the qualities of the different wines we tried. Emma recommended the chef's plate for the table and it was the right choice for us. A number of pickled veggies and even pickled grapes!
