Love the staff at SD Body Contouring!…read more I've been going here for years... laser hair removal, fillers, Botox (love Stephanie) and now doing the Semaglutide "skinny shot"... I'm menopausal, eat good, no junk or soda, and weight train 2-3 times per week. I was unable to get off the stubborn extra pounds. I have lost 22lbs and gone from a size 10 pushing 12 back to a very loose 8. Feeling great! Thank you to the great ladies in the front office... so friendly and knowledgeable.

I even received a text confirming the appointment, but when I arrived I was told I didn't actually have one because it hadn't been entered into the "correct" system. Today was even more confusing. I went for my next appointment and ended up being bounced between their old location and their new one with no guidance whatsoever. I thought the sign at the old location says the new location will open on March 19, which led me to believe they were still operating out of the old space. However, when I arrived the doors were locked. Apparently the new location was open as of January 19, but there was no clear communication or signage explaining where to go or what was actually happening when I went to the new location either. This was especially frustrating because I made my appointment around or shortly after the time they had moved and no one thought to tell me that I would need to go to a new location. (Maybe I'm expecting too much to be proactively informed that the office has moved after I've been going to the same office for eight years or so.) It's frustrating because this used to be a reliable place, but right now the lack of organization and communication makes it very difficult just to figure out where you're supposed to be.

I am writing an Updated Review about my Awful Experience…read morethat I had in the Sharp Grossmont Emergency Hospital on Wednesday , July 10, 2026. I requested to be driven to Sharp Memorial Emergency Hospital in Claremont, CA. Because this Hospital was recommended by my good friend Michelle. I finally became a new patient at Sharp Memorial Emergency Hospital afterwards on July 2, 2026. Everyone of their ER Doctors gave me excellent medical treatment and I only had to wait 10 minutes to be assigned a bed in their Emergency Room. Unfortunately , I was convinced by a Falk Ambulance Paramedic to go to this Sharp Grossmont Emergency Hospital. My Date of Service on Wednesday on July 10, 2026 from a (6 Hour Tine Period) at my Arrival Time 6:30 PM until I was discharged from 12:30 AM. I have experienced a Traumatic Event from being IGNORED, DisRespected and I received NO Medical Treatment from Dr. Chris Young. Dr. Chris Young is the most UNPROFESSIONAL person and a JERK ER Doctor I have ever met. Dr. Chris Young has committed Fraud by doing nothing but charging my Medi-Care Insurance Company and charging my Medi-CAL for giving me NO MEDICAL CARE for my very serious DVT (Blood Clot) in my right leg. I was not in stable condition on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. The reason I was picked up from my house in San Diego, CA was because the swelling in my Right Leg has gotten worse and I had other symptoms that accompanied my very serious Medical Condition. My symptoms was very high Blood Pressure, my Blood Pressure was 184/71. That's the first time I had elevated Blood Pressure because my Blood Pressure has always been 120/60 and I felt like I was going to faint. That was a big red flag that me as a patient needed to be examined by an Emergency Room Doctor immediately. I also have filed a Report and an Official GRIEVANCE Complaint with my Insurance Company Blue Shield Promise of CA on July 18, 2026. Then I received this official document that was mailed out to my residence from Blue Shield Promise of California. There was supposed to be a 30 days Investigation by the CA Medical Board of Directors . I learned that from the outcome of this Investigation on Dr. Chris Young , his lazy Medical Assistant Pat and the incompetent Registration Clerk named Tiffany who she asked for my Social Security Number. Tiffany asked for the last 4 digits on my social security number then she wrote down my (4 Digit Number) on the yellow Post It Note. Tiffany was supposed to type my Social Security Number into her computer and also to save my Medical Records electronically for the Registration Office. I saw Tiffany didn't type up NONE of my necessary personal information into her computer like my Full Name , my Date of Birth, my Home Address and she didn't ask for my Drivers License for Identification. Some of the people they hire to work for Sharp Grossmont Emergency Hospital are very ignorant and incompetent like Tiffany was. Tiffany said , she is going to throw away my Social Security Number that she had written the last 4 digits of my Social Security Number on a Yellow Posted Note in her Trash Can on July 10, 2026. I told Tiffany NO because some person will use it to steal my identity. I told Tiffany to shred my Social Security Number on the Yellow Posted Note using her paper shredder for my security. Then Tiffany I saw finally agreed with me. That's the standard procedure to shred patients social security number to prevent identity theft. When Arianna this Blue Shield Promise of CA Grievance Coordinator called Dr. Chris Young regarding this Grievance Complaint that I had filed and reported against him and his medical employees. Dr. Chris Young LIED and told Arianna that my name was called by him (5 Times). My Name was only called ONCE. That was to check to see if I was still waiting in their Emergency Room. Yes I was waiting there for 6 long hours without No Complete Bloid Test that I asked to be ordered and me to take to see my Blood Test Results and No Ultrasound Machine was done on my Right Leg to confirm the diagnosis that I have a Blood Clot. I also was Ignored the whole time for 6 long hours. I was not assigned No Bed in the back Emergency Room and I received No Blood Thinner . Dr. Chris Young was also harassing me in the Emergency Waiting Room Lobby. Dr. Young was trying to force me out of their Emergency Room. I told Dr. Young he doesn't own this Sharp Grossmont Emergency Hospital so he cannot make me leave. I continued to call a Uber Driver to pick me up at the back of the Emergency Department Building. I am going to fight for my rights and fight for Justice. BMy advice is Please don't go to Sharp Grossmont Emergency Hospital because some of their Doctors are committing FRAUD.

I rate him a 5 because I couldn't have been more pleased with his services. I was very anxious upon meeting him for the first time in the pre-op holding area. He took my hand, stood next to my gurney and patiently listened to my concerns. Then, he kindly and competently explained how the process worked. It was so reassuring. One day post-op, he followed up with me. I was happy to report that I had had no nausea and due to the effects of the spinal, had experienced only minimal pain for the previous 24 hours. Most people complain about their billing because they have no idea their anesthesia is being…read morecontracted out to a third party, so when they have anesthesia problems they post it over on their provider's listing when they should be posting it here. ASMG has a virtual monopoly on anesthesia care in San Diego. In my experience, there is no accountability when they hurt patients. I've had three total interactions with ASMG and all were negative: one because of billing, the other two because of poor patient care. Billing: in 2002, I had a minor wrist surgery at Scripps Green. ASMG attempted to force me to pay almost $1000 for the care they provided. My insurance said Scripps was supposed to pay. Scripps said my insurance had responsibility for the bill. Barely old enough to enter a bar, I found myself calling all three, repeatedly, trying to get someone to pay it because I, a broke college student living with my mom, wasn't responsible for it under the terms of my coverage. Scripps eventually paid it. In 2008, I had a thyroidectomy at Scripps Green. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Zinser, looked right through me when I met him and I had a gut feeling something was wrong. When I mentioned that I am a natural redhead because the gene mutation has consequences for anesthesia and pain management, he laughed it off. This is a proven scientific fact, and even in 2008, was well known. He allowed me to wake up too soon from the surgery (another physician once told me he probably turned the gas off too soon) with zero pain control because something happened to my IV. He didn't chart what happened, didn't tell me what happened even after it was OBVIOUS I had been conscious during the procedure and after numerous complaints. He was never held responsible for this severe safety lapse that left me with PTSD I still struggle with almost 20 years later. Unbeknownst to me, UCSD also contracts with ASMG so when I had a colonoscopy in 2025, I was, unfortunately, under the care of Dr. Guy, another ASMG anesthesiologist. My IV infiltrated during this very routine 10 minute procedure. Propofol went into my arm. I shared the image of the large, abnormal bruise I developed after this procedure. It wasn't evaluated or charted, nor was I given any post-procedure instructions. I've been in pain for almost a year now with an injury to the radial nerve because of this mistake. Again, a safety issue that went unaddressed and unacknowledged which is why I am posting it publicly here. Both UCSD and Scripps then treated me like a pariah in the course of trying to get care for this injury, forcing me to go to LA to find someone who doesn't have the "ASMG bias." It's clear there's a culture of zero accountability and little care for patients. It's about getting paid.

Two visits ago, when I was checking out, the black lady was on an active FaceTime phone call and she ended up confusing me twice with two different people. She ended up wrongfully charging me once and almost did it a second time because she was too busy on her phone. That is after I told her multiple times what my name was. That is extremely unprofessional of her to be on her phone when she is talking to a client. My last cleaning a few weeks ago on a Thursday, I inquired about a night guard at the front desk. She immediately said no, I do not have any coverage for that. She didn't even bother looking into my plan or calling Delta Dental. She just assumed I didn't. I ended up calling them myself later that day and they said I did in fact have that coverage. The conversation took 10 minutes. I called the office back that day and said I just spoke to the insurance and I did have the benefit. I was told I would get a call back. No call on Friday so I called them back on Monday and they made no progress. They then told me it would be a few days till they get back to me. What? I just verified it within 10 minutes on the phone. These people are an absolute joke. I have since taken my business elsewhere.
