I won't let this stop me from going there again but if it happens again I won't order a deli sandwich again. I give this place five stars but on this particular day just 4. Side note my mom also got a sandwich a turkey on white and it was so soggy she said it wasnt edible. We only traveled about 15 minutes with them back home.

Lots of ramune, many, many types of noodles, shiro and awase miso (I think they also have aka miso, but I didn't notice), lots of teas. As for the bbq meats they may have roast pork (cha sieu), fire roasted pig (lechon), roasted duck, soy sauced chicken, salted chicken, white cut chicken (ba chi gai) and others depending on availability. For the fire roasted pig I suggest heating it up in a broiler, skin side up, on a low rack and watch it carefully. The skin will be perfectly crispy like chicharrones (pork rinds). I like that this place sells the veggies by the pound and you bag them yourself. Many times I've bought prepackaged veggies to find some not so fresh ones in the package. Also I don't like to buy that many veggies usually so I like to pick up just enough for what I need. Since the management change I have been here every Thursday. They had a stand with a money box and you took your apples and put your money in the box. Unfortunately, I only stopped once because the apples were very soft and we ended up throwing them away. The new owners have done a lovely job with the orchard and have classes there as well as summer concerts. They have a cute gift shop with seasonal fruit, meat and handmade gifts from local artisans. Stop by, they have something for everyone!

Some things are seasonal, some things are constants, but the more you shop there you will quickly get an idea of what you can find and when. -of course, the staff. Every single employee I've interacted with in my many years of coming here has been friendly, helpful, and respectful. You see a lot of the same faces year after year, and I get the impression that people truly enjoy working there. They recently just celebrated 16 years in business, which is no small feat for a co-op swimming in a sea of big chain grocery stores. For me, it's certainly not hard to see why.
