I've gone here for over 20 years. I took my 2 dogs today for their annual check up for flea/tick/heartworm medication as well as rabies vaccination. It cost me $441.00. I'm a senior and I could not believe this price when my husband got home. I definitely won't be back and won't be recommending them anymore. read more

I am changing vets and Williams had been recommended so I phoned them to say I wanted to bring by my dog's record so that she could get in the system and I would be notified when she needed shots, etc. I was told that no one was allowed in the office but that when I got to the parking lot to call and someone would come out and get the record from me. I went by today and called from the parking lot only to be told that they had not been taking new patients for over THREE MONTHS! Doesn't speak well for Williams Animal Hospital. read more

The entire staff is knowledgeable. It is obvious how much they care about the animals. They listen to your concerns and have excellent bedside manners. I know my fur babies are in excellent hands. They also never forget that most of us have a budget and ensure the treatments are necessary and the most cost effect. I have multiple animals of a variety of species so I really appreciate this. Williams Animal Hospital is run by many doctors who actually do dog sports themselves. They are very experienced with active dogs I have found after talking to other dog owners in town who do conformation/dog showing and agility, etc that most take their animals here. Williams Animal Hospital is a great clinic for anyone that does sports with their dogs and is tired of hearing that their dog is underweight, or needs a clinic that can do certain procedures without shaving in the case of show dogs. read more

Used to be good! Lately, Several misdiagnosis & LOUSY customer service. Last straw, took my 12 year old barn cat for check up & vaccines. They gave him 2 vaccines & said he was doing good even though he was old& ver thin. No bloodwork or anything else suggested or done. 10 days later he got very sick & we took him to after hours emergency clinic. Bloodwork revealed many serious diseases. Cat could barely walk or breathe. Had to put him down. When I called Williams the next day and told them what happened, the response was, well if you think the other vet is better, feel free to change. A week later I called to ask question about my dogs medicine. He's currently under treatment & they said they had inactivated my account because I indicated that I was unhappy with them & they noted I would be changing vets. They wouldn't answer my question about my dogs medicine. They would just email me my records for all my animals after 10 years of care at their clinic! read more

This team is so amazing! I have a small dog, Clyde, who behaves horribly and has to wear a muzzle to come to the vet (embarrassing - for me, not him). This was our first visit to Williams Animal Hospital. Dr. Williams and the entire team were so good with him and very kind to me. The staff and vets are amazing!! My family brought home a new puppy and days after bringing her home got sick. She had not had a chance to go to see the vet, I called Williams Animal Hospital off of a recommendation from a friend. Dr. Williams is "superb!" We contacted him this year to crop our new pup's ears, because he did such a great job with our Dobie almost 20 years ago--btw, the man still looks to be the same youthful professional we met back then... Because our new pup was already 8 week when he met Dr. Williams, we have since taken him to another Vet to do the ears--Standard Schnauzers should be "cropped" by 8 weeks, or sooner (according to most breeders and Vets) to avoid breaking of the ear cartilage with such a large ear, or issues with the ears standing post op. I will keep WAH in our hearts, and will not hesitate to refer others to this facility. read more

Although my two dogs have been patients of theirs since they were puppies (7-12 years as patients), lately the management and staff have been extremely lacking. One of my dogs had a rapid loss in weight and wouldn't keep anything down..not even water. After they told me my furbaby couldn't been seen for a couple of weeks (no exceptions), I called another vet the very same day and they took her in immediately. She winded up having inflammation and infection in her intestinal track, which is LIFE THREATENING!!! They put her on meds and now she's as good as new. Had I waited to be seen by Williams Animal Hospital, she probably would be dead right now. Now today, I called for my other furbaby to be seen for something that is an emergency situation (she's licking incessantly at her genitalia and she's very raw and swollen). They couldn't see her until next week sometime. I immediately called the same vet I took my other dog to a few months back, and now have an appointment TODAY to be seen by this other vet! I will definately be switching vets as of TODAY for the latter furbaby, as I have the first one mentioned above. Ever since Dr. Williams decided to let others run his business for him and not come in as much to his own practice, things have gone to "hell in a handbag!". I'm extremely disappointed by the lack of compassion on Williams Animal Hospital's part! Will NOT be going back there!! read more

I have been a patient here for many years and the last few experiences I have had with them have been very disappointing. They have become very unprofessional. My dog was so sick that he could not even get up. They told me that I could come by and get an antibiotic for him, but that they couldn't see him that day. I ended up taking him to the emergency clinic where he had to be put to sleep due to stomach cancer. It has become almost impossible to get an appointment here within a decent time frame. I have called and left three messages for Dr. Williams on another occasion and he never returned my call. This office has really gone down in the past year. I won't be back and would not recommend them to anyone. read more

I have been going to Dr. Williams for over 30 years. He is such a good and good-hearted vet. I have also had good experiences with Dr Browning and Dr. Lavalley since they each joined the practice. They have cared for my horses, dogs and cats. If technology such as an MRI is needed, they will refer you, but these vets have the experience and expertise to diagnose and treat animals in most instances. I highly recommend them read more

I am a fan of Dr. Lavalley. She's a good vet with a friendly disposition! We've been pleased with her!! I can't give 5 stars here, due to the front desk staff. They are usually rude and disinterested in customers. With improvement there, this would be a 5 star rating! read more
