They gave 11 hour "appointment" windows, cancelled with little notice after I arranged to be home from work, and then gave 10-minutes' notice before arriving. The technician mis-diagnosed the rattling noise that the dryer is making, likely because I was not given the opportunity to be home from work to communicate with the technician. instead, my wife was home, who is less familiar with the troubleshooting already-performed. Now I have to start from square-one to initiate a new ticket for a warranty repair with the manufacturer. I'm sure this is NOT the technician's fault, but rather, the result of Sears' impersonal scheduling platform and lack of regard for their customers' time.

The money spent for Sears extended warranty service was a waste of money. Stay away..far away from them. Do an internet search and you'll find there are over a 1000 similar complaints. This is why Sears will even lose this business like their retail stores to the competition. I feel for the technician who is a great representative for the company yet his hands are tied by a poor support system.

Absolute joke of a company. We live in And Lubbock. We have really hard fucking water.. They would…read morenot install the dishwasher because I use a whole house turn off and not the turn off under the sink because our hard water freezes it up every time.. so they refuse to install a dishwasher. I reported a dishwasher issue on 14 December. They came out, looked at. It said they had to call it in within two weeks. They had to come back and take the circuit board out of the dishwasher which was completely fried. Literally it was black.. then they said it had to be replaced so I schedule the replacement now they have been out here three times at this point. They come out and they say they can't install it because they can't turn the water off under the sink and I tell them no I have a Main house turn off.. they refuse to install the dishwasher.
