I have used Earls in the past for plumbing with no problems, but I will not use them ever again for AC. Talked with another AC guy who said they would put stop leak in it for the leak.

There was no rodent damage to the unit, only evidence that it was old and worn out. Your technician was blatantly incompetent on this call and it's great that he is no longer with you anymore. However, it was not handled the way it should have been, caused problems I should not have had to deal with and I will continue to share my experience with others. There is no need to discuss this further, you can post any response you choose, but the damage was done, and the warranty company made up for your technician's incompetence.

However, we were still having issues that indicated otherwise. While I fought with my home warranty, our AC completely gave out and would not turn back on. I called Artic Air at 8 am on Monday 7/17/2023, and a tech was at our house at 3pm that same day and our AC was working and running beautifully (despite being 20 years old) by 5pm. This tech was very nice, worked efficiently, and fixed our AC when our house thermostat said 87 degrees inside. The tech diagnosed the issue as shortages in the wiring. He fixed those, installed my new thermostat, and went ahead and cleaned the unit for a reasonable price. I really wish I could remember his name but I 100% recommend this company!

Today (8/20/26) our A/C went out on one of the hottest days of the season. We have always used…read moreSinclair, so I called them; however, I did not expect to have service today because of the high demand. The lady taking my call was very professional and empathetic, she said she would try her best to get someone out today if at all possible. Within 2 hours I got a call from a technician (Dave) letting me know he was on the way. Wow! I was shocked. Dave arrived exactly when he said he would. He immediately began diagnosing the problem. He found a gadget called an "Add-A-Wire" which he had never seen before. He ran a few tests and determined that gadget was the problem. Within minutes he had the A/C back on cooling the house down. We paid a minimal service call fee (I would have paid triple what they charged me!) Wow, I was prepared to spend a miserable night in the heat and possibly all weekend as well. Dave was super-efficient and competent. We were so pleased. This is not the first time we have called on Sinclair; but it is fastest service and repair we have ever experienced. Sinclair has always done right by us, and I can't recommend them highly enough. They are a local family run business that still knows how to treat their customers right. And NO...I am not related to anyone at Sinclair, and I DID NOT receive any form of compensation from them for this review! It's just that in today's climate, good customer service and competent technicians is not "normal."

Sinclair paid for all of that and to paint entire ceiling. Painter never came to see how it looked after. Also didn't cover everything. We spent hours cleaning paint off counter tops, cabinets, and floor tile. They also got paint down on walls. I went to Sinclair with pictures. Manager was out and staff said he would call me. I never received a call so we were left cleaning the mess and I will have to Paint the walls where they let the rollers hit the walls.
