I took some shoes to get the bottoms fix with new heel soles they didn't even bother to cut them even our clean them up from the glue residue. Terrible job. read more

I have taken two pair of boots there and they both came out awesome. They came out out very nice and fast.

I took my shoes there for the first time and they did a great job! The only reason I gave them a 4 star is because they left early like 5 pm and they said that the store is supposed to be open till 6 pm and when I called them the next day they said that they are a small store and they had to leave early, so that's why I had to go back three times to pick up my shoes. read more

Do not bring your boots to be worked on here. The messed up my boots. And it took them a week to do that. And they charged me 120 to ruin them. Now I will need to take more time and take them to someone else who actually knows what they are doing to fix them. All they did was slap some adhesive on the heal and put on another layer of rubber. I could have done that (home depot & amazon). What I needed was a professional to even fix the heal from normal wear. I'm sure that includes leveling. Now it feels like I'm walking on a rock under my heal and if I shift my weight slightly the heal rolls outside. DO NOT BRING YOUR BOOT here. You will regret it. read more

Horribly disappointed. Came in last year and they did a good job so I came in again with 2 pairs. First, brought in some boots because I needed vibram shoe protectors. Not a great job but not terrible either. I have no idea why but it seems they painted the outsole with a thick paste. It now looks more like plastic than leather. I dislike how it looks but it's not heartbreaking. The glueing was also messy. Now, the Cole Haans. All I needed was vibram protectors for the leather and nothing more. They used two different colors for the heel and the sole, which was bad enough. On top of that the glueing lackd attention to detail; it looks completely rushed. What's worse is that since they used a tan for the heel, they decided to strip or sand the entire outsole so that it matches the light tan color. Wtf?! It looks weathered and horrible. The heel protector is way too thick, proportions are off, and he scuffed the heel cap. It's bad. If you have a nice pair of shoes, don't bother. Check your manufacturer for Service and Repair. read more

Took my boots here to get the bottoms glued back and after one day of using they came completely off. I called William explaining what had happened and he said to bring them in that he was out for lunch but would be back in 20 minutes . I have now been waiting for over 45 minutes and he ignored my call when I called again. Very poor craftsmanship and professionalism. read more

I took my boots for a cleaning and they gave them back to me with dirt still on them- they were clean from the top, but dirt was still on the bottom. I went back inside after I left the shop, and I asked, "were these boots cleaned? There is still crusted dirt on the boots." Their response was, "we only clean the top, not the bottoms." I have never heard of that, I've been to other shoe shops and the entire boot is wiped clean and polished. It would have taken a second to scrub off the crusted dirt from the boots!!! I gave my moc toe red wings about 5 months to see how my boots held up. I had been given them full of dust and very poor craftsmanship with glue showing and a part of the lining cracked. My husband wears professional attire for work and his dress shoes were falling apart from the heel.. he asked me if he should toss them but I suggested tying to get them fixed. He took them to Williams shoe repair and the shoes now look brand new. Not only did they fix them but they cleaned them and left them looking better than ever. Update: I got my custom-made bag from Williams and the leather and the zipper is top-notch and I'm very happy with it; ....yes they take longer than they promised sometimes but this is really an artistic type of business & you cannot rush art, there's fewer and fewer places like this, so let's just be patient with the ownership and the specialist people that actually know how to do these things because if you or I was doing it , it would never get done. To give this place 1 star is too much! The lady who helped me yesterday over the phone was rude and mean! I left 2 pairs of shoes in November 2023 and unfortunately, misplaced the ticket I was given to pick them up when ready. Sadly, I was unaware that they only hold onto items for 30 days and when I went to pick up my items about a week ago, was told they no longer had them. I called yesterday to ask what is it that they do to items left over 30 days and the lady that answered the phone was extremely rude and there was no reason for such hostility. Out of nowhere, she got mean and defensive and told me they are a shoe repair business and not a closet to hold onto people's stuff. I simply wanted to know what they do with items left for longer than 30 days, do they throw them away, sell them to thrift stores or what? The lady hung up on me because she was busy. I called back to leave a message on their voicemail and as I was leaving a message, she called me back. I told her I did not want to speak to her because she lacks professionalism and is a very unpleasant person to talk to and hung up on her. Just picked up my heels that needed retapping, and I am SO DISAPPOINTED! I had been to this little shop many years ago and always liked the quality of work the older man did. Then his son took over the business and quality was not the same. I stopped going for about 5 years and decided to try again. My fairly new Nine West shoes lost a tap so I thought what the heck maybe he had more experience I'll try it. Big mistake! Shoes now have scraped that have been painted black and what looks like glue at the top of the shoe. He said he could redo the insoles in leather, and it looks like he slapped two strips of leather, the 16.50 spent were a waste! I'll have to replace them. Never going back! I gave this place 1 star because that's the lowest it will go. I just picked up 2 purses I brought in because the straps broke. They were to be ready yesterday but when I came i was told they'd be ready today. They need to take your number so they can notify of delays. They don't pay attention to detail as there are strings hanging from where they fixed the purses. Also the customer service by one of the guys is horrible. A year ago I brought 2 pairs of heels and I had to tell this guy to cut the tabs because they were bigger than the actual heel (width wise). I only came because my tailor told me they could fix my purses. Never again. read more

I went to this place to get my wedding shoes stretched and when I went to pick them up my shoes were all dirty!!! When I tried to tell the employee he got them dirty he acted very defensive and rude telling me that's how they were when I dropped them off. I had a pleasant experience. My favorite pair of Steve Madden flats had a hole on the sole, the area where my big toe would be. The hole was big enough that I could see my toe. I wasn't sure if they could be fixed since only the left shoe was damaged. After thoroughly explaining how they can be fixed, the gentleman assured me it was not a big deal. A week later I went back to pick them up and they looked new again! I was so happy since they are my favorite pair of shoes. He was able to apply new soles and the quality of work was flawless. I go in on a tuesday to get a strap replacement for a leather bag.....super easy job... Was told my leather would be ready friday. Went friday it wasn't ready he told me it would be ready monday. Get there Monday the job is still not done and says "give me 5 mins" takes 10 mins. It was a five minute job ...The guy took a whole week to get it done and when I show up its still not done.....definition of horrible service. The job he did was also very low quality, I went back and asked him to use a stronger leather for the job and he said "nothing gonna happen" and refused to do it.
